It took a long time, but the staff were kind and courteous during the teeth-cleaning and health evaluation process. They treated me well, and I felt my dignity was respected. We were able to set up a care plan for me, and I look forward to getting my kiddos the care they should be having there. They are faith-friendly, and have a very nice care experience.

I have a partial plate that needs adjusting. I have a second plate with a retaining wire that rubs…read moreagainst the thin part of gum surrounding the root of a neighboring tooth. In the past, the wire has rubbed the gum raw and bloody, so I can't wear it more than an hour or so without pain. I cancelled an appointment today because someone from the office said the doctor wouldn't try to adjust the older plate; she would only see me with the newer plate. I'm not sure if the doctor doesn't like male patients, doesn't like senior citizens, or just doesn't like me. She has never once called me by name, didn't bother to introduce herself on my first visit, often speaks dismissively to me, and inspires little confidence in me that she cares about my discomfort. I wasn't surprised, then, by the phone call. At 76, I'm no stranger to being treated as someone foolish and unintelligent. However, even if I am completely wrong, I'm still stuck with a partial plate that doesn't fit correctly and one that causes sharp pain.

I had a bridge placed July 2025 by Dr Quinttus at Rahn Dental and it was a horrible experience. The…read moretemporary bridge placed for 2 weeks while the permanent was being made caused pain the entire time, which I told him. When I returned to remove it and place the new one I told him I was still in pain and essentially no response. He removed the temp wiped my mouth (without assessing if something else was wrong) and seated the permanent bridge; I've been in pain ever since. The next week I returned and he announced he wanted to do several root canals- to solve the pain problem, I was devastated. I had paid thousands of dollars for a bridge that has hurt to this day and he wanted to do more expensive and painful work. I've seen several endodontists who are unsure which tooth may need a root canal or if that would solve the problem. The prognosis for complete recovery and pain free status is not good and in fact could be this way the rest of my life I do not recommend this dentist or practice. They refused to refund the money for the bridge. Terrible work and customer service.

A former dentist found decay under a crown on xray. Dr Quinttus would pry the crown up at dental…read morevisits with his instruments to observe it. This is ignorant and promotes further decay. He attempted to recrown the tooth. He fractured the tooth severely during the recrown procedure $$. Because of this, Dr Quinttus caused the tooth and jaw to abscess. Dr Quinttus root canaled the tooth 4 months after the crown $$, and then pulled the tooth the very next day $$. Charging me money for each failed procedure. Dr Quinttus never took xrays during any of his procedures. I had to go through several rounds of antibiotics for the abscess, jaw surgery to remove the abscess by a surgeon, and bone grafting of the jaw by a surgeon. I also have permanent nerve damage in that area of my face. Dr Quinttus started to fill an early abscess fistula with an antibiotic to which I'm severely allergic. I had to remind and explain this allergy to him multiple times. He doesn't check your medical chart. Dr Quinttus never communicates his steps or plans of action. He performs the procedure and walks away. He has zero dental skills or communication skills, which is a very dangerous combination for a dentist. By the way, I am writing this review 9 months after Dr Quinttus extracted the abscessed tooth. Due to Dr Quinttus: I suffered jaw bone abscess, continue with severe jaw pain, continue to suffer with problems speaking, and continue to suffer from numbness of the teeth/gums/cheek/lip in that area. Due to Dr Quinttus: I had to miss several days of work. This whole episode was a nightmare. And I still suffer from his damage. Do not go to Rahn Dental! Dr Quinttus is very unskilled, very unprofessional, very dangerous, senile, and needs his license removed immediately. He and Rahn Dental are only out for money. I asked if they could get my insurance GEHA to provide me what my out-of-pocket cost would be. After several months I did get an estimate. For a variety of reasons most significantly the cost I determined at that point the time was not right for the procedure. I went back for my normal 6 month checkup (actually due to the problems getting to see my hygentist it was more like 9 months) in March and I asked for them to send something back to GEHA for a new estimate (by this time they had included some additional work and updated rates). Not hearing anything I checked back in May and nothing the impression was that nothing was sent. I checked today with GEHA dental and they had not received anything. This time the representative for GEHA took the time to contact the dental office and according to the 3-way conversation Absolute Smile had been sending for the estimate at the "wrong" address apparently all along. So it is extremely important that IF I am having this procedure it should be this calendar year.

I initially chose here…read morebecause everyone was welcoming, friendly, and even helped me through a medical situation that occurred during one of my appointments. Staff has changed and now nothing goes as planned. The first couple of reschedules were due to equipment being inoperable (understandable, and uncontrollable) however, since then there has been 4 different occasions where either our appointments were "not on the schedule" or the office failed to called us to reschedule due to people being out/sick. We've showed patience and grace but how many times will these things happen before things are changed?
