ok service but too expensive and clothes smell like cleaning fluids. So even though service is good, I'm giving them a low rating because of their prices and the smell of the clothes coming back. I have used Greene's Cleaners periodically through the years. I have never had any issue with receiving my garments back on the promised day, pressed and cleaned. A couple of times I have used the offered delivery service and the dry cleaning is waiting on my doorstep when I arrive home. I highly recommend! read more

Bad Dudes. Stated they were fire/smoke restoration cleaners and we would have local access to our clothes had them pickup everything, but later learned from insurance Greene's had no required restoration process. Stopped order but they refused and demanded ransom payment of $5k, which was paid but still didn't return clothes. Received clothes damaged and discovered excessive charges (e.g. Smoke smell remains, $5 for an undershirt, added 20+% markup on all work - not permitted in disaster area). Had an expert inspect to salvage defective work but confirmed irreversible damage to thousands of dollars in clothes. Offer Green's access to inspect clothes where they picked up but there response: We need you to provided original receipts...and give the clothes to us again... Not! read more

Greene's Cleaners did a wonderful job altering my wedding dress! This was a rush order for alterations, with very little time left before my wedding to get the job done. I called around several spots and was told at other places that they wouldn't be able to do it in time. Greene's took the job, had it completed a day before the agreed upon date, and did an amazing job. I feel such a sense of relief and am very thankful. The day after I provided documentation for over $1000 worth of sheets, I'm happy to say, my sheets were found. I was not charged for the cleaning and was offered a no charge for 2 other items ready for pickup . . I insisted on paying for the 2 items that were not a problem and let them comp the previously lost items. read more

I have used this cleaner many times. The cleaning part is pretty good BUT don't count on getting your item when promised. The left hand seems to not know what the right hand is doing in this establishment. I actually avoid this place unless I need an alteration. I have used Greenes 5 times 3 of these times when i picked up cleaning my shirts were not done as i requested, shirts were to be folded. not once could they get instruction correct. No offer to discount or compensate for error. Yesterday the solution offered was to return in 30 mins and they would fold as requested. No Thanks just get it right from the start. I have been using Greene's for more than 20 years. At times very regularly and more recently, less than once a month. Regardless of my needs, Greene's pickup and delivery has faithfully served my home. Their process is wonderful and although I would like to have updated my wardrobe, Greene's has been keeping the same suits like new for me for at least 8 years. Borderline unethical practices. We've only used this service for a few months since we just moved here and that's about 2 months too long. We were promised a credit when shirts were not delivered back on time. I didn't ask for or expect one and thought it was a nice gesture. I was just glad my shirts weren't lost. Not only did we not receive the credit but our prices were increased without any notice. When I called about the credit I was told it would be on the next delivery. Just got the delivery today and no credit. I called to ask about it and never received a return phone call. When I asked about raising prices without letting customers know, I was told that's just how the owner operates. Well no thanks. Strong advice to stay away, plenty of other options. read more

These guys charge at least 50% higher than anyone else and do a mediocre job. They just want your money and then they overcharge your credit card. They should be called ream your pocketbook cleaners. They definately take you to the cleaners. read more

They are efficient and very friendly, however expensive. Even without the delivery service their prices are unreasonable.

Overpriced, poor customer service. They have lost my items twice. Luckily both times they found them and I went back to pick them up and they offered minimal apology, no appreciation for me driving back to get them so they didn't have to deliver it, no offer of a discount for the trouble etc. Convenient location but that's it-will not go back. read more

Outrageous pricing and terrible customer service!! A king sized comforter is $60.00 to wash, does not even need to be dry cleaned. I tried to reach a manager by phone several times to verify that I had been charged correctly. The manager was out sick at one location and always on the phone at the other. After placing my 9th phone call I reached a manager. I told her I wanted to make sure I was charged correctly and she said I was. She said that I don't understand what goes into washing a comforter and that was the price...final. I was trying to support the local cleaner, but I will be returning to Klass Cleaners in St. Helena which is half the price. read more

I have only used Greene's once, but they did a great job cleaning a dress that another cleaner had refused because of the fabric. The price was hefty, so I don't take all my cleaning there, but I will certainly use Greene's again for any special items. read more

The employees here are super nice and helpful and when I had a question they were right on it to help me out. Although the two stars are just for the employees. This dry cleaner is not somewhere you should trust or take your clothing. They shrunk my vintage Chanel suit, which this suit cost around $3000, it almost made me sick to see how they treated and snagged my treasured piece. I had a silk kimono I dropped off, picked up and realized it cost $30 for them to clean it... although when I brought it home, it had a small pin dot hole and the stains were still visible, failing to mention that they couldn't get the spots out. I brought it back and they apologized and cleaned it again, the spots are still visible... definitely wish I could find somewhere in town that I can trust with my clothing, considering I own a vintage store and need a trustworthy cleaners. I was recently married at Chateau St. Jean in Sonoma and was flying from the East Coast with my dress. My dress is silk and needed to be pressed after the long flight. I was able to go to the Greene's Cleaners the day of my wedding, the store manager knew to expect me, and they turned my dress around in 30 minutes. The next day I stopped by and dropped off my dress to be cleaned and preserved before we went on our honeymoon. Again, the store manager met me and she applied my payment from the previous day's pressing towards the cost of the cleaning and preservation. It was so easy and very convenient to drop my dress off and trust it to Greene's Cleaners. They later shipped me my dress, which arrived within a few weeks.
