We made reservations for a Saturday at 1pm for Brunch. We had mentioned it was for a Birthday celebration but they didnt seem to know about that. We loved the ambience and service : its a really pretty place. I enjoyed the Bloody Mary's and Pina Coladas, which were very good. I ordered Caesar salad, which was very good, the steak sandwich, also good but not on garlic bread and for dessert, apple strudel. Others enjoyed the eggs benedict. This was my first time here and definitely not my last. We came here as part of a Kiwanis meeting from the clubs in the area. It was a very easy drive from Long Island and we were able to find a spot on the street not far from this restaurant. Our group met in the side room where we had plenty of space for our group. The restaurant was set up so nicely and there were even Carafes' of wine on the table. The owner was one of the servers this evening. All around, a very delightful team of people here. The food was nothing less than fantastic. I had the most tasty and well prepared Chicken Chicken Parmesan while my wife had the Shrimp Scampi. My friend had the Chicken Marsala. All the food was spectacular-delicious. There were a lot of people here and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Nothing like a lot of people laughing and enjoying good food. read more

My daughter was hungry and it's close by our house-- so I decided to give it a shot. Usually they have tables and chairs out front, but I was told they no longer do that; however, they have an outdoor dining area. I was immediately greeted by two staffers, which was pleasant and was taken outside. My daughter had a cheeseburger, I ordered a steak sandwich, but wanted to change for Penne Alla Vodka, but it was almost done-- luckily for me, the staff brought me over some Penne, as a gift from the chef, which was a nice gesture, that I appreciated. The steak sandwich was good, but very large. I ate half and the rest was dinner. I was pleased with the food and the service-- I would return here for outdoor dining. read more

Craving a massive burger? Look no further. Burger Deluxe- You can pick the cheese you want on your burger, I chose pepper jack. The burger arrived with bacon, thick cut fries, onion rings, all the veggies on the side, and a pickle. I like that you can assemble your burger however you prefer. You can't really see the amount of fries in my picture because the burger was so big, but it was definitely a good amount. I should have asked to skip the bread basket before the meal because I was so unbelievably stuffed. It was a high quality, great burger. This is probably my favorite burger in Brooklyn now. This review might be a little bit biased, but my bridal party threw my bridal shower here and it was the best time! I had about 25 guests and we were able to get our own private room, away from the main entrance of the restaurant - meaning no random people ever mistakenly came into our room. The bridal shower was 12-3 but my BMs told me we had the space until 4 pm, and that they were able to get there as early as 10:30 to start setting up. Food was buffet style but with servers - a mix of brunch foods and regular food, so we had bacon, sausage, eggs, french toast, egg frittatas, chicken marsala, penne vodka, salad, and the best garlic cheese bread that was ever made to exist (and I'm probably missing a few dishes). There were huge carafes of red/white wine at the tables, and also someone serving mimosas. The cake was also included, which was really good - and I'm not normally a fan of sweets. At the end of the event, they let us take home whatever leftovers there were, so fortunately (and unfortunately), I took home a lot of bacon. Nice space for special events, and now, I definitely want to come back and try their regular menu. read more

As we walked into this place I got nostalgic vibes. Based on the groups that were there I could tell this is the kind of place where locals return. It reminded reminded me of "Cheers" except this wasn't a noisy bar, instead it's a place where local return to celebrate events. There was an event going on the night we went and the staff was setting up in the back for another event the following morning. Despite all this, the service was fast and attentive. They have a full bar and can make you pretty much anything you want, however I highly recommend you stick to ordering beer or wine to avoid disappointment. We ordered a margarita and french Martini which were both an epic fail. Margarita tasted like straight up tequila and seltzer with a table salt rim(the drink was clear ) and the french martini tasted and even looked like a lemon drop martini (yes it was yellow) . The food was pretty good. My boyfriends calms came with the sauce that amazing, and the salmon, broccoli rabe and pasta were perfectly cooked. Nothing was over cooked or soggy which was great. I was there for a baby shower brunch. The servers were very good and brought us mimosas and other beverages to the tables. It was a buffet brunch with fresh good eggs, tiny quiches, meats, pastas, and delicious French toast. There were three different bathroom areas to accommodate about 70 women, never a line. The only difficult part was parking, although they did have valet parking but when leaving you had to wait awhile for your car. Overall, 3.5 stars for the food. Four stars for the service and attention the staff provided. This restaurant is quite spacious inside and out. Ample outdoor seating along the front, on the sidewalk. More private outdoor dining space in the back of the restaurant which was fully tented so weather is not a factor overall but less tables given the social distancing setup. Indoor space is very comfortable if the dining rooms were open (currently closed due to COVID). The food: A few hits and misses, likely due to personal preference. Overall the fries in every entree and side order were a tad over done. You can see by the color and texture. Good: mussels with white clam sauce, garlicky and great flavor. Yes, we used the complimentary bread basket to soak up all the goodness. The Penne a la Vodka was great. Just the right amount of cream and sauce. It didn't have any tomatoes or texture like garnish. Simple. The seafood medley linguine was good, generous portion of seafood and we chose the red sauce. (Not spicy, just red. Option of white sauce available). The steak sandwich, with option of cheese - I went with mozzarella. Paired with red peppers and onions, just needed a hint of salt and pepper. Temperature and texture were spot on otherwise. Passable: The fish and chips were not too oily and the fish was meaty. However the fries were meh as stated before. Fish needed a little more flavor, like lemon zest or salt. Tartar sauce provided but we didn't use. The baked clams were good, not great. Could've used more pop of flavor for me and while it had bread crumbs, it needed a little more butter to finish it off. Misses: skip the French Onion soup, way bland. Sure you can taste the onions and the cheese but the broth was lacking in flavor; just too mild for my taste. Not memorable. The BLT wrap, just ok. Nothing notable about it. It's bacon, you'll like it anyway. Dessert menu available, think Brownies, sherbert, ice cream, and Tartufo. Nothing seasonal or unique as far as offerings. read more

Where else do they offer bottomless piña coladas? And it gets better, brunch was prefixed $39, which included bottomless drinks and a 3 course meal. And they offer a prefixed dinner too. This spot located in bay ridge gives off diner vibes, so the food didn't wow us, but it was good. We had a complimentary bread basket, caesar salads, steak sandwiches, brownies for dessert with piña coladas and screwdrivers for drinks. We left stuffed. The service was really attentive, making sure or food was ok and that our glass weren't empty. They take large parties, but reservations are definitely recommended for brunch. read more

We had the chance to attend a friends 30th birthday party hosted here and we were not disappointed. Upon arrival we were happy to see a great spread of prepared buffet foods ranging from chicken to pasta and a variety of salad. They also made sure to have water, wine, and soda at each table for individual serving. They also gave fair warning 30 minutes prior to the end of the party room reservation and cleaned up efficiently towards the end. Overall a good experience as an attendee of a party here! read more

Attended a funeral repast lunch in the back patio area. Enclosed sunny space with plenary of room for a small group to gather. I came here recently for a celebration and the restaurant seemed very nice. A few things that I noticed it were a bit offputting was the fact when they brought the picture of soda it was almost flat with very few carbon bubbles as if the carbon bubbles cost extra. Also there was an aftertaste as if they didn't clean the spout from the beverage machine gun properly. The shrimp scampi that came didn't taste like shrimp scampi at all however the shrimps were very flavorful and a great size. I was told the pork chops were very moist and to die for as well as being a nice size. The service wasn't breathtaking but it was OK to be honest. I probably wouldn't return here because it felt like it was way out of the way that I would necessarily come to this area but I'm sure it's a nice place to stop by for people who live in the neighborhood. read more

I had the Grilled Center Cut Pork Chop with Apple Sauce. It tasted great. The pork chop was tender. moist and flavorful. It was done very well. I've had pork chops at other places and the meat was on the dry side. It came with 2 sides. I closed the mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes. They tasted great and freshly prepared. We stumbled onto this restaurant by chance. We originally planned on another restaurant but it being Monday it was closed, we had checked their website which said it was open 7 days. That said we decided to eat here. We were warmly greeted and we had a table in the back, which overlooks a garden and was all glass. We ordered the prix fixe menu and each course was great. We had the chicken sorrentino, chicken parm and shrimp over pasta. The pasta was al dente and the sauces amazing. Dessert delish and coffee strong. Coming here last Saturday night to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday was really a very strong recommendation by my husband, who's work had their Christmas dinner here last year. He raved how great everything was, so when we were coming up short of a new place to go to for the occasion, this place was the top contender. We were escorted to the back greenhouse area in the right corner, next to the door that leads to their garden area. It was nicely lit with white lights, making it really visually festive and celebratory. Sitting in the back was a little cooler, but gave us the space that we needed to feel comfortable. We LUCKED OUT when the waitress gave us the Restaurant Week menu that was expiring the next day for their $42 pre-fix menu of an appetizer, entree, and dessert. I'm talking surf n turf and filet minion people! No doubt in my mind that I was banking on the surf n turf, and my hubby got the shrimp and penne al a vodka, which was very surprising to me, especially from the selection he had. I can honestly say that both choices weren't foolish ones. My lobster tail was fresh and cooked to perfection, paired with some melted butter on the side with some fresh veggies like carrots and zucchini. My filet minion was paired with a delish homemade bbq secret sauce that had me dying for more! It was an excellent portion and was even able to share some with my husband, because I was definitely having more than one helping of his shrimps! The vodka sauce was insanely good; bread dipping wasn't an option. By the time dessert came around, I was looking for some chocolate mousse and that's what I got! My husband opted for the brownie overload and OMG...it's every girl's dream! Two fudge brownies with whipped cream and hot fudge - just stick a fork in me - I was DONE!
