Greenify Energy Savers did an energy audit in our home and the owner Wick was very professional and knew what he was talking about. I heard about the energy audit on the local radio sports station talking about the services Greenify could offer. The audit was only 50 dollars and well worth the money spent. The report told me of the issue our home was having in keeping it comfortable during the hot summer months. The entire upstairs was barely livable due to the heat on that floor. Many options were used to help keep the heat out of our home, such as installing a radiant barrier in the attic, blowing more insulation in the attic, sealing the home for leaks and window tint on all the south and west facing windows. I have already noticed a big difference since the work has been completed. The upper lever is noticeably cooler. My goal is to have a home that is liveable but also have less energy bills. The contractors were very professional and friendly. Nice guys to work with. Wick also did all the paper work which allowed us to get a rebate for some of the modifications done from Questar. I requested an estimate on adding insulation in my attic. When the gentleman arrived, I asked about the difference between rolled insulation versus blowing insulation into the attic and he took the time to explain those differences. He asked me about heating and cooling my house and my concerns -basically why I thought I was in need of additional insulation. My biggest concern was even with a newer air conditioner, my house was hot in the summer. He went up into the attic took pictures before explaining to me his recommendation. In the end, I had radiant reflection installed. I also had the entrance area into the attic updated to meet code. He measured and took photos of the insulation/attic to indicate I did not need anymore insulation and explained other options. The gentleman who did the work arrived right on time and sent me a text letting me know he was on his way. He was very efficient and respectful of my home. I asked him if this did not cool the house down enough what steps could be taken, and he took the time to explain some of those options. We had a great experience with Greenify! They were professional and efficient. The audit was very thorough. Wyck walked us through the entire process and answered all of our questions. I really appreciated being able to understand why our home was energy inefficient and why we needed the upgrade. He was also very friendly. When he came to share with us the audit results, he helped us figure out what would work best for us at this time. We bought the silver package, but we were able to make some adjustments that fit our needs. Wyck let us know about all the rebates and tax credits that we would be able to receive. I am extremely pleased with the energy saving work done on my house by Greenify. I worked with Aaron, who is very approachable and explained the different options and process in detail and answered all my questions so that I understood completely. My house is old and the insulation was poor, so with Greenify I was able to get a package deal for attic and wall insulation, new windows, air sealing, a new roof and solar that I found affordable with financing. After all these improvements my home is very comfortable without having to use the AC all the time. Before it would get very hot so that I couldn't spend time upstairs in the summer. We worked with Aaron, one of the owners. He was very detail oriented from the start. I appreciated how he laid out all the options in a very logical way and offered many options to not only help reduce our energy consumption but also provided options to finance the project. The insulation and solar panel installers were very nice to work with, clean and knowledgeable. The people at Greenify were professional. For reasons of comfort I upgraded my home attic in two phases. In Phase 1 I added vents to our attic to remove hot air on hot summer afternoons. In Phase 2 I contracted with Greenify to add an additional foot of insulation to reduce heat entering into my ceiling. They were professional, delivered on time and their office gave me information on how to apply for rebates from the electricity and gas companies. We have reached the hot summer months and I am getting the improved comfort. I am engineer and my view is that adding the insulation gives me the best value for my money. We weren't planning on getting solar power. A salesperson from another company came to our door and piqued our interest. When we got bids, we decided to go with Greenify because they would also make energy efficiency improvements to our home. Why add solar power if your heat and AC are flying out of your house? The bid was very competitive - I think it was the lowest that we got - and the work was of the highest quality. We contacted Greenify at the Salt Lake Home Show in Sandy this fall. They came to do an audit and provided some excellent suggestions on how to make our home more energy efficient and comfortable.
