It's based solely on the booking process. I was able to book an appointment on Sunday for Monday morning, but they called early Monday and said they couldn't make it until Tuesday. That caused me to miss out on other companies that had Monday availability and wasted valuable time on something we needed done as soon as possible. They need to get their scheduling system figured out.

I want to be as kind as I can to this company, because I don't know exactly all the facts around my experience. but they quoted me for between a 4000 to 8000 dollar job, when the solution was a 50 dollar part. I live in Bluffdale, and I was just looking to do normal yearly maintenance on my A/C unit, I called the company, they answered were friendly and sent a guy out immediately. Good deal, the charge is only 20 bucks for the maintenance. I mention to the guy that this particular A/C unit has been tripping the breaker about once a day. He says he'll look into it. A couple hours later he has taken apart my entire system, let's me know that the compressor must have gone bad and that I will need to replace it, as well as most other parts of my A/C unit, I ask "Well... how much would that cost" "Well the part is about 1500, and then it's a 6 hour job, so it'll run you about 4-6k dollars or so, I can have a guy come out and give you an exact quote, but honestly it's not that much more to get the entire system replaced... that's 8000.." I wait, look into warranty and amazingly, i still have a warranty for the part! Good news! in the mean time I get several other quotes, one shop quotes me half that 4k price, that makes sense, 4000-1500 is about 2000 dollars, the price difference is somewhat small. the price guy arrives, asks a lot of personal questions and then says he'll run my quote, I inform him the good news! I get the part for free! could they get close to the price quoted earlier? Nope, 4000 dollars. well since I have that piece still warrantied, can you show me a breakdown of the prices for labor, parts etc? nope. can you tell me what unit you would install if I went with the 8k version? "honestly they are all the same" Ok, but can I get a price break down? nope. they were vary dismayed when I said I would get some other quotes. He also informed me that this has happened all over this neighborhood So I call another company, guy looks at it, looks at my breaker and says "I think the builder just added the wrong size breaker, and this one is warn down, I can get an electrician friend of mine out here to fix it, but your unit looks perfect". thanks Copper peaks. No fee for the consultation electrician comes over,"that'll be 50 dollars for the part, 150 for the house call" it's been working perfectly fine ever since. I don't know if this is an experience problem, but I do worry that this company has been wrongfully quoting newish home owners full replacements when they are not necessary. I had a bad experience with this company, and cannot recommend them.

I found Brian through his Yelp listing, which had a handful of earnest, positive reviews. What an excellent choice! Brian responded to my inquiry quickly and came out to our house that afternoon. A quick analysis of our furnace revealed that the problem was a dirty flame sensor. He fixed the problem easily and offered some useful suggestions about furnace maintenance and replacement, should that be needed in the future. He was courteous, prompt, and responsive. The bill was fair and much lower than I'd initially feared. I found Fisher HVAC to be a reliable and honest service provider that I would use again and would not hesitate to recommend to others!

They finished really quickly and were very respectful when teaching me (a dolt) how everything works. And when folks come to do work, we all know how it goes. "Hey this was the quote but we had to tweak the smooth knobs a little more than we thought". This is fine. That's standard. So the talk starts "so I quoted you for some duct work and it was easier than we thought so I'll charge you $200 less". They were respectful of my needs. Willing to be VERY clear with me. And displayed an incredible amount of integrity when it came to the billing. I would use them for any business they provide and I will always recommend them in a heartbeat. Incredible service.
