I hope this review saves someone else from signing up with Greenix. My experience with Greenix has been nothing short of a nightmare. Not only did their treatments completely fail to eliminate any of the pests on my property--including spiders and bees--but the technicians actually caused damage to my property during their visits. Despite receiving zero results and incurring property damage, I was hit with a $299 cancellation fee just to escape their contract. The sales reps never mentioned this fee upfront, and I found myself forced to pay after being charged for services that did not work. I strongly urge anyone considering Greenix to look elsewhere; this company is a masterclass in misleading sales tactics, ineffective products, and horrendous customer service. Don't expect them to honestly disclose the terms of your contract either. And definitely don't expect customer service, account managers, or anyone else at corporate to care. They're in it to bleed you dry regardless of how awful they are. Common issues cited online indicate that I'm not the only person who experienced this. Misleading sales tactics: Many customers report being approached by aggressive door-to-door sales representatives who give inaccurate information about pricing and the scope of services. Undisclosed cancellation fees: A frequent complaint is that large cancellation fees, often a few hundred dollars, are not mentioned upfront by sales reps. When customers try to cancel, they are told they must pay the fee, sometimes after being incorrectly charged or receiving no service at all. Ineffective treatments: Some customers report that after treatments, their pest problems did not improve or even worsened. They note that the products were not effective against pests like spiders or bees. Poor communication and missed appointments: Reports indicate issues with technicians missing scheduled appointments without notice. When customers try to resolve the problem, they experience poor communication from the company. Problematic billing: Several customers on the BBB have reported being charged for services they canceled, did not request, or did not receive. Others complain of a monthly fee for a quarterly service. If you choose to go with them, proceed with caution. Their service techs will probably break your fence/gate, trample your external decor, and need to rely on you to supply the most basic thing - water for their solution - because they don't arrive prepared. This means that even though they advertise that you don't need to be home when they work, you will need to be home to babysit. The timing seemed impeccable to have Rise Pest Control come through our neighborhood. As it would be, we thought we were going to move so we cancelled our provider, intending to get them back, but hadn't done it yet. The deal fell through and we did not move. That night as we were doing yard work we saw a "nest" of thousands of ants we have NEVER seen before between our driveway and yard. We were stunned. I was going to call our provider that we had previously the very next morning, but as luck would have it, before I could even call, Rise Pest Control was on our block first thing that morning. I guess that was a sign. We took it! We got scheduled within 48 hours. I will say that is partly because my husband does work full time remote so it makes this type of appointment much easier. We have nothing but good to say about John D. (the technician) from Rise Pest Control. He was kind, considerate and very knowledgeable. He took his time going around the outside of our house first, being very thorough with the brushing of the spider webs, then going forward with the necessary insecticide treatments. He then came inside and did the same. He was done within 40 or so minutes. Probably would have been done sooner, but as you can surmise, I am a people person and like to chat!!! read more

I did NOT expect to see anyone soliciting door-to-door on this hottest, most humid day of the year, but when Tyler was at my door, the first impression was of a very dedicated, well groomed, professionally-dressed young man, and I was willing to talk with him. He was soft-spoken and not pushy, but explained about Rise's pest control service, and educated me about a few pests noted in the area this year. He explained the pricing to my satisfaction, and his professionalism helped him make the sale. The technician, Matthew, was at my home within about 20 minutes. Matthew also presented himself well, and was very personable, polite, and respectful. He seemed knowledgeable about his service, and trustworthy, and again explained everything he was going to do, basically reiterating what Tyler had told me. Another technician, Brandon, also joined him in the yard to do the job. He, too, presented himself well and was dressed professionally. (This says a lot, being that it was a heat-index of about 105 degrees out.) I had no hesitations about having these two guys in my yard. I would recommend RISE to my neighbors and friends. read more

Most pest control companies will apply some chemical barrier inside and/or outside your house. Rise does an extraordinary job in this area targeting the expected avenues our creepy crawlers love to squeeze through around the house, but turn it up a notch by addressing 10' of lawn leading up to your house to dissuade them from venturing too close in the first place. Many pest control companies could end there and they would be good. Rise, not settling for okay, will also clean out cobwebs and wasp nests around the house, which saves me from trying to balance on an unstable ladder due to the slanted ground. They'll also come back between treatments if any issues should arise and take care of them. On a side note, Jacob performed a great job on our first treatment. He explained every step along with why they do it. He was super friendly and most impressive a rain storm came after he applied the barrier outside and he called to have someone come back in a couple of days to re-apply the outside barrier. Never heard of Rise Pest Control before, until Miranda knocked on our door and proceeded with her intro. She advised me that the tech will do a wonderful job and that he will be out the next day after I signed up. Brandon shows up the following day very promptly at 8am. He took down all the cob webs in the basement and garage. He is probably one of the most caring techs I have ever met. He walked the entire yard spreading pellets and sprayed 3ft up the house and 3ft out from our house. I even requested to have him spray against my neighbor's fence and he said absolutely. He said he wanted us to be comfortable in our home. He was truly awesome. What a great company!!!! I used to have Terminix and they were full of empty promises that's why I discontinued my service with them. But RISE PEST CONTROL is pretty amazing. You guys have a customer for life. I was skeptical about signing up for them because I was solicited by a door to door salesman and my husband made me promise we would end the service after the contract but now he's the one that insists we keep them. When I was contacted by another pest company and told them what all Rise has done for us they said they wouldn't cover all of that without extra fees. We live in a new area where there is a lot of construction and were concerned about the critters that would be migrating. We did have voles in the spring but they helped us get rid of them (without any extra charges) and we haven't had anything enter the house. When we had an abundance of crickets in the garage, they came out promptly, sprayed and put out traps - problem solved. I had Rise before Greenix bought them out. I loved Rise, good service and they always emailed me personalized "what we did" emails. Greenix comes along, I have just as many bugs in and around my house as I did before hiring pest control professionals. They came out on a service call for me to treat for spiders and wasps. There were 2 huge webs on my deck and one on my garage that were still there with spiders right in the middle even though they said they swept up webs and wasp nests. The techs always are overly pushy about getting reviews, one even told my wife he will come again to finish taking care of the wasps if we give him a good review. I don't pay money for a service that isn't completed unless I leave a review. So I will be terminating my account with them. read more

Megan and Brandon L. from Rise Pest just did a first treatment on our house. Both were very polite and friendly. We had been using another company and had been disappointed with the number of insects we have continued to see so were thankful they stopped by the neighborhood to see if we were having any issues. They did a great job explaining what the treatments would include and then during and after Brandon clearly explained everything he did and made sure to address all questions we had. What intrigued me the most about their service is if we see anything in between treatments, they will come out to take care of it within a day for free. We've never had that offered from other companies as part of the service, but appreciate the option. read more

As a customer I expect the job to be done. Period. Doesn't matter what the product or service...minimal expectation is do the job. Had a sub par experience last week...Rise sent out another technician this morning. I only review horrible or awesome experiences. Just meeting the expectations, well, is just that and doesn't warrant a review in my opinion. With that said...the service provided today....outstanding. Technician Michael, asked questions, clarified needs, and not only "did the job" but was pleasant and personable. I could go into extreme detail but reviews aren't supposed to be novels. I had never heard of Rise Pest Control, but they were in the neighborhood and offering a group rate since they were already in the area. We are fortunate that, for the most part, pests stay outside of our house but the idea of them staying even further away is certainly appealing, especially box elder beetles! The price seemed very reasonable and both of the gentlemen (Justin & Matt) were extremely polite and professional, even in the extreme heat & humidity! The product is safe for kids, pets, & plants, which is a must for us. Best of all, I LOVE that they come out year-round and that service calls in between quarterly treatments are included free of charge. You don't get any better peace of mind than that! read more

We had an issue with mice this cold winter. The day they were discovered we called Rise and they came to our house within an hour or two. All the technicians that have come to our house, especially Jacob, have been professional and helpful. They are willing to go above the standard call and help in any way. I never felt like they were in a hurry or wanting to get out. They answered all my silly questions! Jacob even helped clean off the top of the refrigerator when I was too nervous to go over there. With his trained eye, Jacob was able to identify where the mice were getting in and we were able to get to the source of the problem. Called 6 different places for simple wasp nest removal to appease our home buyers. Rise was more than $50 cheaper than the cheapest one I found. They were able to come out the same day I called. The tech Branson was awesome, professional and did a LOT more for us than just remove the nests. Which also ended up being twice the nests that I called about but they charged the same. They also wrote up a removal summary with pictures to show our buyers that the service was performed up to their standards. EXTREMELY happy with this company and will recommend to friends, family and anyone. Great experiences all around are hard to come by but they exceeded all expectations. read more

Blown away by the service of this company. I just had my first service with them and they were very thorough in removing all the webs and wasps from my home. The technician Bronson explained everything very well and let me know that the bugs will be getting flushed out after today. I will be recommending this service to my friends and neighbors because I haven't had another pest company that ever seemed to care as much about my home as I did. I was in need of a pest control company for an outdoor application because of a wasp problem. I called Rise Pest Control and spoke with Cole who was extremely through on there services they could provide and went over the charges. An appointment was made for several days later. Joshua came out to my home and was extremely kind, professional and through on the services provided to the outside of my home. My wasp problem has been handled. My first time using Rise Pest Control after a recent move to a lakehome where there are some extra large creepy crawly unwanted guests. Charlee and Tyler were awesome! Very professional, on time, polite, knowledgeable to all of my questions and even laughed at my very unknowledgable comments on all the vast plant surroundings at our new home. Stephan from Rise Pest Control visited today - our first service. Nice introduction and explanations about what he was going to do. He checked with me before he left to let me know what he did and what issues we needed to be aware of...and that there would be a follow-up visit within 30 days. This is really good service as far as communication. I expect the treatment of the pests was sufficient for our purposes...but that remains to be seen - we don't have a lot of issues, but spiders, ants, wasp nests do show up on occasion. I'm confident this first treatment is a good step towards being bug-free - yay! read more

We have used Rise Pest Control for a year and have had FAR fewer centipedes and spiders in our basement and first floor. We are VERY pleased with the results and that this company does not apply harsh chemicals (like some competitors). Damian, today, came out for this quarter's treatment to the house and yard. He was very professional and attentive. Also very informative about various bugs in my neighborhood. I explained to him a couple trouble areas on the property - where we commonly get ant invasions in spring and he went above and beyond to help ensure we won't get as many ants this coming spring. read more

I decided to give Rise Pest Control a shot after being less than satisfied with another company. My technician, Carter, was super thorough and took the extra time to make sure the job was done right. The website said they would sweep cobwebs and such off my house, but I was skeptical if this was something they actually did. Yeah, they actually did it, and they did a great job of it! Overall I am very impressed with the professionalism of both the router manager I met (Kimball) and my tech (Carter). I'm happy to make the switch to Rise, and expect to have a great experience each time they visit. read more

I really want everyone to know how good Kameron J was for our 2nd service this past Monday, Oct 4. He has such a great personality and was so thorough doing both the inside of the house and the outside. Very professional and a great experience with Kameron. We would like to request that Kameron service our account in the future. He also seemed even more thorough than our initial treatment, which was really good, with the inside treatment especially but also the time he took outside cleaning up the cobwebs and spraying the underside of the deck.
