We had multiple companies come to give us an estimate, Greenleaf showed more professionalism and attention to detail than the others did. Their estimate was competitive, and we chose them because of the professional relational interactions that we had with Sarah. The crew 3 trucks and 4 guys showed up and all behaved with similar professionalism. ( equipment was handled without risk, The cutting and chipping were done. Greenleaf Tree Service removed 3 very large pine trees from my yard. My street is extremely busy, we are right off the Lowell connector. The crew was amazing fast, they executed the tree removal flawlessly. They were so impressive my neighbor inquired for their trees to be removed as well. My neighbor and I are incredible happy with our service. Rich was great with communication, if he didn't answer right away him he would return your phone call on same day. I can't even say how much of a relief it was to have Rich and his colleague who was with him (I unfortunately forgot her name!) come to give us a quote on three trees we needed taken down in our yard. They were the fourth tree service we had contacted for a quote and the only people who quickly came to look at the job, confidently described the needed equipment and process, and give us a quote on the spot that was reasonable, written out line by line, and helped us know what to expect, including some minor lawn damage due to the wet weather and the large crane they had to bring in to get the trees down, which were in what I would call a difficult spot to get to in my yard. Prior to this, the other three tree services showed up with people who: (1) trampled on my flowerbeds, (2) told me about their half a foot from a chainsaw accident, and (3) quoted me $2000 more for the job than anyone else. So I'm not exaggerating by calling Rich and his team a great breath of fresh air. We had a bit of a delay due to inclement weather, but once the weather cleared up, they came just when they said they would and they and their subcontractors (Chuck's Tree) finished the job impeccably and with a cleanup that left my yard looking like nobody had even been there cutting down three enormous trees. My father lives next door, and when he asked if they could take down a fourth tree near mine in his yard while they were there with the crane anyhow, they were gracious enough to tack that onto the job for a small fee. My only regret is that we didn't use Greenleaf's for the other past three jobs we had done over the last ten years on our property. Greenleaf came out last week and took down 3 of our big trees. They used a big crane to bring them from the back side of my house out to the front to cut down, chop up and remove from my property. Rich came out and looked at every tree on the property with me, answered all my questions in depth, and gave advice on how to prune and care for the trees going forward, even the tiny little Japanese maple. He gave a good quote for removing one of the trees that is sick and being attacked by insects, and I will call him when we're ready to have it removed. I would definitely recommend this company! We were looking to have two enormous oak trees taken down which would require a crane. I had got a total of 4 estimates. I wasn't happy with the last experience with a tree company we had used previously, so I called Greenleaf after seeing the other excellent reviews here. I spoke with a very nice person at their office, and the owner of the company got in touch with me right away to set up an appointment. He arrived promptly the next day and gave me an estimate right away. The price was fair and we were able to schedule the work for just a few business days later. The crew finished up work today after removing 25 trees. They did a good job, worked diligently and cleaned up nicely afterwards. We are very happy with their work. I would definitely use this company again, although I think we're out of trees for now! read more

I'm so happy I used this service. My present Landscaper suggested Greenleaf when we noticed a Maple tree next to the house shedding leaves in early August. He didn't know why but suggested Greenleaf because the owner was an arborist. Called Greenleaf and the very next day the owner shows up and explained what was happening. The tree was shedding because of Tar Spots. He explained what they were, what caused them and not to worry. We've a lot of rain and that caused this fungus. Then I questioned how he could remove some dead branches on a tree very close to the house. I didn't want any equipment driven across my lawn leaving tire tracks. He suggested that they could trim the tree manually by having a guy use tree climbing foot "spikes" to cut the limbs which could harm the house and allow animals to cross from tree to roof to attic. In a week his crew showed up, cut the limbs, they brought their own "chipper", cleaned up and did an excellent job. The agreed upon price was reasonable and well worth it. I'm going to use them again in the Spring to expertly prune a Japanese Maple and other trees/shrubs. read more

I found Greenleaf's by accident after I phoned two other companies that didn't reply back for couple days. I happened to be behind their truck! They phoned back promptly, showed up to review what I needed done and did the work when we agreed upon. Very friendly to work with and followed up with me after the job was done to make sure I was satisfied. No complaints whatsoever! Summary - Awesome service, knowledgeable & skilled professionals, quality work, extremely satisfied, definitely recommend. Details- I had a grouping of oak trees in my yard whose branches were hanging almost to the ground. These branches were blocking the sun from the grass below and annoying me when trying to drive the lawn mower underneath them. I called Greenleaf's and Rich, the owner, came out to give me an estimate. The trees were just in need of having their lowest branches removed - what they apparently call in the tree industry a "canopy lift." The job was scheduled quickly and for a specific time (not a window, an actual time, wooo hoo!) The crew arrived with the owner at the appointed time and we all reviewed and agreed on the work to be performed before Rich left the crew to the task at hand. In addition to the canopy lift, dead branches high up the trunks were removed as well as hanging dead branches from a previous winter's ice storm. The result was a side yard that looks much more open, bright and welcoming. All the resultant debris was fed through a wood chipper and the crew cleaned up every branch and raked the area afterward.
