Thank you Greenline for a perfect hair style for my friend's wedding party. Thought you'd like to see the final look, dress make up & all!

I'm the type of gal that enters a salon loudly announcing, "I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MY HAIR!" I'm likely the worst client as I shrug and grunt my way through a stylist's questions and suggestions. So when someone puts up with me with a smile and grace they are already winning in my book. If they manage to tame my insulting boring thick hair, that's just bonus! I got all of this and more at Greenline. As I was there as part of a wedding party I was even more clueless and helpless than usual. But wow did Greenline step up to the plate. I sat in a chair, grunted and shrugged my way through a consultation and barely thirty minutes later I walked out with the beady up do I've possibly ever had. I've never enjoyed an updo this much! Not only was it beautiful, it also lasted the entire night. Turns out 51 bobby pins is the magic number. I don't eveb know how she hot that many in there but holy cow did it work. Results are in the pics below. If I'm ever in town again I wouldn't hesitate to stop by for a cut or touch up.

These girls squeezed me in at the last minute, gave me an awesome blowout and curled my hair. I have Pin straight hair, that never takes a curl...and all I really wanted was some texture. But my curl held all night, because Emma was the shit!

I love the look, feel, and location of this boutique salon just steps away from Mainstrasse in Covington KY. The stylist all seem very professional and knowledgable about their craft. The inside is beautifully decorated and I always feel relaxed in the building. A mini facial or hand and arm massage is included in the service, which is very nice!! Kelsey has been cutting my hair and I feel she does better each time I go to her. I recently got my hair colored and she did a great job. The color was a drastic change for me but Kelsey listened to what I wanted and did a good job making it happen. I've been happy with my experiences at Greenline and will continue to go to her for all my hair cutting needs! Oh, this salon uses AVEDA products which I absolutely love.

Finally! I have a stylist in Cincinnati! It has been more than a decade since I've had a stylist…read morefor a multitude of reasons, and I'd honestly given up, but I FOUND HER! Aniya has a quaint little suite in the Nobel building just across from Mcklenburg Gardens, which is close to UC's central campus. Truth be told, I'd tried another stylist in the same building and was less than impressed for the same reasons I've never been able to find a stylist in the past: I was on time but she had another person in the chair and had to start 30 minutes late; I had to have my hair already washed and blow dried, all she did was corn-row me, and she charged me $100! She was nice enough, but nobody is going to consistently pay you to take advantage of them. Thankfully, there were other stylists in the building I could try out, and I'm glad I did! Aniya over in Suite 1 is serving up JUST the right services at just the right pace and prices. She's been READY for me when I show up, I've had an amazing shampoo experience on the bowl, she detangles like a pro (no pulling or snags!), and my cornrows stay in place for a month solid. Best of all, she only charged me $50! Now that's a stylist I can get and stay behind. I'm looking forward to trying her silk presses and other services. They're all reasonably priced, and she's a delight to work with: professional, kind, talented, and not trying to make you pay all her bills while having you do half the work. Go check her out!

I've never had a massage before. The reason I tried 502 Salon & Spa was because they offered 30…read moreminute sessions, and I figured if I hated it, it wouldn't last too long. Most places offer 60 and 90 minute sessions (501 also has these options, but I love the shorter ones). I put in my notes when I booked online that it was my first massage and I was nervous it would be painful. When I arrived, the front desk attendant was very kind and took me upstairs to the spa. (Note - not sure how accessible this place is - I did not notice an elevator). My masseuse was Ashley, and she was incredible. She walked me through the process knowing I was apprehensive, explained any add ons, and made me feel at ease. She is so good at what she does, and I genuinely cannot wait to go back.

This was unfortunately the most disappointing salon experience I've ever had. The reception team…read morewas lovely, the ambiance is beautiful, and the stylists are kind and professional. However, the results were consistently not what I requested. I brought in an inspiration photo and clearly stated multiple times that I did not want any red tones. The result was noticeably red/orange and looked nothing like the photo. I called the salon, and they were courteous and offered to correct it. The manager was helpful and encouraged me to return to the same stylist so she could learn from the situation. Although I was uncomfortable with that, I agreed as long as there was guidance. At the redo appointment, I again showed the inspiration photo and reiterated my concerns. Unfortunately, I left with hair that was pinkish/reddish/yellow and extremely dry -- again, not aligned with what I requested. The manager did ask if I was happy with it, but with the stylist present, I felt uncomfortable speaking up and said very little. The situation felt awkward and difficult to address in the moment. While the redo was comped, I was charged approximately $150 for a root retouch. Within just a few days, my silver growth was already visible. At this point, I am over $500 into the experience and have left each appointment feeling embarrassed rather than confident. I've decided to move on and find another salon, but I was truly disappointed by how far the final results were from what was clearly communicated.
