It's not clear which location you're ordering from and if you order online and I ordered at the wrong location (on Highway 305,) and I went to the location (where I thought my order was) to pick up my order and they said just call and cancel that one (the 305 store) and can order here, so I did that. We opted to try Greens On Your Way, and ordered 2 Cobb Salads with Chicken. I didn't take any stars away, because apparently I didn't understand the meta message of Greens on the way... but this is a take out place. They have some tables and window bar seating, but it didn't click for me. I will say I didn't sleep well last night so maybe that was the issue. But I wondered why they asked if I wanted forks . I was like, "how else do we eat salad." We sat at one of the tables and then they brought out the all the to go salad and dressing. We opted to take it and go home. So all that ridiculous confusion aside, the salads were great! Super fresh, lots of bacon, half an avocado, a hard boiled egg, the Blue Cheese dressing was yummy. I was completely starving when I started, and super full when I finished. It was a great Cobb Salad. If I am passing through Poulsbo, and want a salad TO TAKE HOME, I will definitely come again. Another 5 star review, 2 years later (we unfortunately can't report this with all PBO restaurants). Over the past year have been coming here regularly for or vegetarian meals when the craving hits. The Kickin' Quinoa in a wrap is our favorite (added feta, chickpeas and kalamatta olives). OMG yummmm! And huge enough to share with my hubs. Our adult daughter loves the Mandarin Orange salad. I love the food & come to this place all the times, but I have learned my lesson not to come here on the weekend, especially on Sundays. The Sunday crew is truly substandard. The cashier chat aimlessly while the line formed out the door. The chef forgot the extra chicken. The packer forgot the salad dressing & the utensils (that we paid for). The store is bright, clean and welcoming. The volume of the blenders does make communication tricky though. There is a huge selection of smoothies both sweet and savory. My favorites are the Chocolate monkey and Pink flamingo. The standard salad size is BIG and great for sharing. You have the option to customize your smoothie and salad. I do have to give the Mac-n-cheese a one star rating. I don't know if it was, but it had a "from a box" quality. I don't see the connection between smoothies, salads and mac-n-cheese but it's an option. This is a great place. Give 'em a try! read more

Love this place!! I don't come too often, because it's pretty pricey. But I went again today and tried a new wrap, The Mandarin. I asked for no red onions and added avocado (didn't realize until after I paid but adding half of an avocado was $2.50!!) and it was so delicious!! Next time id add chicken, too. Second attempt at driving home with a salad that has all the ingredients listed. No dice. Last week I ordered a Cobb, drove home, but no avocado in the salad. (The rest of the salad was very light on other ingredients, but that's beside the point.) I called immediately and was given profuse apologies. I was told they would write me down for a free salad. I just needed to stop by within two weeks. Ok. I just drove by, waited in line, and was told I was only getting a "free avocado." What in the heck? Why would I drive over there for a free avocado? This makes no good sense, and is certainly not good business. I paid quite handsomely for an incomplete, lacking salad, then drove back only to be offered an avocado? When I expressed my frustration, the response was "yeah...you talked to me...we forgot the avocado so that's all you get." I expressed more frustration and was given a blank, slow-blink stare with "well that's how that works." I get the increased prices. I partially understand the portions shrinking. But paying for something, not getting it, then getting gaslit when you arrive for what you were told was compensation is frankly rude and upsetting. read more

I'm a frequent customer here and have never had a bad experience or bad food, between my kids and i we've tried numerous different items. The salads are massive and delicious, same as the acai bowl which ends up being two meals for me. Their pizza toast; Mediterranean and avocado, also very delicious yet a smaller portion. Smoothies... everything so far has been super yummy. I normally order online for pick up; only once have I had to wait for service and they were really busy.
