I bragged on the quality, the quantity, and the deliciousness. After my experience yesterday never again! I have noticed that for the last couple of years the portions have gotten smaller and the prices have gone up. Granted, prices have gone up on everything, not just at this restaurant. So that part is understandable. I'm not mad about that. What I'm extremely frustrated about, i'm actually angry, is that they served me a salad with barely any meat on it. I got the ruben salad last night through the drive up. When she handed me the bag out the window, it literally felt like a feather. When I got home, it was basically all lettuce, a tiny bit of saurkraut, some croutons, my garlic deal dressing, and a very a thin slice of the corned beef or whatever the meat was supposed to be. Literally, they give me a salad with a piece of meat smaller than the length and width of my pinky finger. That bowl of lettuce cost me sixteen dollars plus my tip. Yeah I'm angry about it. It is very rare for me to get angry. Getting home in Kingston, expecting to have an awesome dinner, and having this after I paid that much. Infuriating. I will give them credit for having the nicest crew. They have awesome customer service at the drive up, thus the 2 stars this time. We were not greeted upon arrival, and the person who appeared to be the owner or manager was preoccupied making multiple shakes for her son while chatting about the new barstools she had purchased. Nearly 10 minutes passed before we were acknowledged, and another 10 before we were told she would be with us shortly. When my order was finally made, it was incorrect. Before I could let them know that I was fine with the mistake, the drink was dumped and remade, adding even more to the wait time. Unfortunately, the remake was also incorrect--this time missing the powder flavoring I had originally requested--resulting in a plain shake. Given the extended wait, the lack of customer service, and the price point, I cannot justify returning. I value supporting small businesses, but this experience demonstrated why many customers turn to chain establishments that have the staffing and systems to provide consistent service.

The cold foam flavor blended in very well with the rest of the tea. Steve gets the natural energy drinks and he got a very pretty blueish green drink which he enjoyed. We got a small snack, it was raspberries on a white cheese sandwich and that flavor combination was quite good as they blended together well. There is seating and it is roofed but it's kind of a open air arrangement which makes it doable in the summer and even in the colder months when there's rain.

The walls and bench are dingy and extremely scuffed. It's also very warm inside and uncomfortable to hangout in due to temperature and the hard seating. It's a shame because this could be a super cute place to spend time and host small events if they would update it! The young gals could work on their customer service. They're not rude per say, but they could try harder to greet customers and connect at the register. I've worked at Starbucks for 8 years, having genuine conversations with customers and turning them into regulars is the best part of the job! Work is as fun as you make it. I try to chat with the girls and they respond kindly but you can feel they'd rather not participate in conversation lol. I did sit one time and watched them work through a rush and they crushed it!
