Can not say enough good things about this company! I called and got a voicemail after leaving a message got a return call with in an hour. Scheduled the appointment to meet my needs. Tech came out on time, did the job better than I thought would get done. They were friendly on the phone and in person, they were hard working, on time and offer service at a fair rate. My worst nightmare: 8:00pm on a Sunday night, and the septic system is backing up into the basement. Not sewage, thank god, but bath water. But still, I assumed the tank was full, was not draining, and was backing up into the lowest part of the house. I immediately started dialing septic companies to see if I could get someone immediately, in the dark, and late on a sunday night. No such luck. they couldn't get out that night, but Richard walked me through what was happening and determined over the phone that likely it was a clogged main septic line, and our outflow wasn't even reaching the tank, and it was just backing up, into the lowest part of the house. The next morning at daybreak, Richard was here assessing the situation, confirming that his initial thoughts were correct, and he would be bac,k shortly to unclog the septic line, and pump out our tank for good measure. Sure enough, less than 19 hours after the initial issue presented itself, the work was complete, and we were back in business... so to speak. Greens Septic is a family owned and operated, father and son team. They know what they are doing, and what needs to be done, and they get the job done. This all happened last night and this morning. My family and household is back to normal. And... it was not overly priced. We were happy to pay the fee, and they improved a few shortfalls in our system that they noticed along the way. I called to schedule a routine clean-out of my septic tank. He offered to come out that same day, but I had other commitments, so I asked about the following week. Monday morning at 9 okay? Yes, thank you! Today at 8:59 AM, I heard the rumble of the service vehicle backing down my driveway. Talk about being punctual! Jesse is like the Energizer bunny. Got to work right away digging around the cap to get to the access lid. He did a thorough job sucking out a crapload of you-know-what, then flushed and sucked out some more you-know-what. He offered to install a riser at a very reasonable price. Wonderful service. Highly recommend. read more

My experience was the complete opposite of the other reviews. Poor communication and bad customer service. My septic alarm went off and I called Green's based on the universal 5-star reviews. The person I talked to wanted to come out in a few hours but I was at work and couldn't get back home by then, so I asked if we could do the the next day in the afternoon. He said he'd have to ask his son but that he'd call me back to confirm. After not receiving a call back that day, I called first thing in the morning and left a message. Called back a few hours later, leaving another message and then again a couple of hours after that. Then I started leaving messages on the various cell phone numbers they rattle off on their message and left another message. I finally got a call back late Friday afternoon saying they were coming out later, but because they didn't confirm or call me back as they said they would, or was the same situation the day before: I was at work and needed at least two hours to get home. If they had confirmed like they promised, I would have worked from home or taken the afternoon off. Then the call got unprofessional and uncomfortable. The person I was talking to started yelling at someone else in the room saying "Did you call that guy? You didn't?!?" and when he came back me, he halfheartedly apologized before saying that I was the problem because I couldn't be home at the drop of a dime and it would be too late to get a pump/parts if that was the issue. He also somewhat berated me because I had to admit I was ignorant about the septic system and could only answer his questions about it with best guesses. Wanting to get the problem resolved and to just move past the miscommunication, I simply said since we weren't able to make today work, what could they do? I expected them to try to accommodate me the next day (which was a Saturday) or Monday if that wasn't possible, which turned into another uncomfortable yelling match: "Can you go tomorrow? No? No, we can't do tomorrow, he doesn't want to come on Saturday." At this point I gave up and called another service who was very polite, said "That's okay" with me only being able to answer his questions to the best of my ability and said he could come Saturday morning despite us talking for the first time at 330pm on a Friday (because I spent most of Thursday and Friday trying to coordinate with Green's). He then texted me to keep me updated before coming. That's how you do it, and if you make a mistake like not calling a customer back you don't argue in front of them and offer to make it right the best you can. read more

I have used Green Septic in the past and was satisfied. This time I was originally scheduled for 9:00 in the morning, they rescheduled for the afternoon stating they had over booked. I received another call backing up my service time again. Still no service as the next call stated they had gone to the wrong town and as they had a service call there they were pushing me to the next day, 9:00. A complete no show, no call no nothing. When I finally reached Green Septic two hours later, I was told they do not work in the rain and would again reschedule me. Forget it! Terrible customer service. read more

Showed up on time, Went right to work. I has dug out to the riser because I know where it is exactly so there was not much digging to do. I think the father came out to pump my tank. We hadn't had our system pumped in 5 years. Mr Green showed up and looked at the cover for the system that the last service used. He said there was no way that the last pumping service had actually cleaned the system. So he dug up the large cover and fully pumped the system and then installed a Fiberglas cover that would give full access for the next time it needs to be done. He only charged me $85 more than the last guy who did a halfassed job. I would highly recommend this company for anyone who needs septic services. read more

Septic alarm went off while we were traveling - scheduled Green's Septic Service by phone after some internet searching for options and reviewing septic businesses. Several gave me very high estimates for the work or would not provide any pricing information other than pumping, others could not guarantee that the responder could both empty the tanks AND make the needed repairs and yet others could not make a commitment for the date I needed it done. Green's was very responsive, communicated with me via text in the interim between scheduling and the date of the work, showed up on the scheduled date, pumped my tanks, replaced the burned out pump motor and associated floats (switches) and rewired frayed and damaged connections. Jesse took the time to explain how the system operates both outside in the tanks and inside at the panel. Cost was very reasonable (highly competitive) and the service was professional - they guarantee their work and commit to return asap if there is any problem - can't ask for more than that - Recommend Green's highly and rate them Five stars. read more

This is a father son company that provides superior service. Our septic alarm went off early this morning and they were there assessing the trouble within one hour of our call. They took the time to explain what could be happening and tested the pump. They returned with the necessary parts and equipment later the same day completing the repair and pumping out the tanks in short order. Options for future prevention of switch failure were discussed and the lesser expensive one was recommended. Best of all the actual cost was reasonable and lower than the estimate. We will definitely use them in the future and recommend them to our neighbors. They are also approved by the health department and up on current code. read more
