I was not happy with my stay here. I took a trip with my 12 and 14 year old boys. I was excited for them to have new experiences. This hotel was not it. I like an affordable hotel, but still expect it to be clean and provide some service. The room wasn't real clean and I should have changed rooms. What made this 2 stars is lack of housekeeping straightening the room and bringing fresh towels. I missed my boys reaction to coming back to the room and seeing it cleaned. On Google and booking them seems to have decent reviews, however after staying we will not back. There was boogers or whatever it was ALLLLLL over the hotel room, in the bathroom, the ceiling, just everywhere! I'm glad I didn't see any bedbugs like some of these other reviews! (Which we didn't see these reviews until after our stay) The offer "breakfast included" which is literally very cheap breakfast the gas station is better. This was recommended by a friend. If you sign-up for their program, you can get a better rate. In our case, the program was less than the savings, so it was a no-brainer. The breakfast is pretty spartan, but there is a breakfast burrito. Nothing to write home about, but better than cold cereal and toast. Location was not bad. No carpet in the rooms. Room was clean. There were signs of water damage in bathroom. Not horrible, but a sign that maintenance is not top-notch. For what it is, not bad. The bed was literally concave. We kept getting sucked into the vortex in the middle. After a fitful night got up to take a shower and.... No hot water. I thought the sheets were fairly clean, somewhat clean towels though some err on the side of yellow. Definitely recommend new towels. The overall interior is modern and newly updated: love the walk in glass door shower and non slip floors. I absolutely love the shampoo conditioner and shower gel. Smells so refreshing, herbal and when I dry my hair it's smooth and silky! How often do you find that in a hotel? The check in was smooth, and the associate at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. As I passed the pool on my way to the room, I saw it was covered with a tarp. A short call to the front desk confirmed my disappointment, as it is down for maintenance. But it's summer!!! ...a cruel, cruel summer. The room is a little dated, but I did get a deal booking through Priceline. It's not great, but it's not horrible either. Most likely won't return. The backlit mirror in the bathroom makes you look good, providing you looked good to begin with. The toilet is one of those low riders you'd find in a KinderCare or Tutor Time. It's like having a Squatty Potty without having the Squatty Potty. The shower pressure was on the low end, but workable. Got a little annoyed that the shampoo was empty. True, I don't have hair on my head, but I do have it in other places... rude! I almost killed a fruit fly, but my reflexes were too slow. Then bae saw it crawling on the ceiling. Let's just say, she don't crawl no more. If you hear a "boing" at random times during the day or night, it's just the mini fridge. However, if your headboard's a creaking, you might be a freaking. Checked into GreenTree for three days. Prices were very affordable. The inside of the room was very clean and you could tell it had been recently remodeled. Location from the place to local shops was very convenient as there was a Walmart within walking distance and a grocery store as well. Room included free WiFi, microwave, and refrigerator. Definitely spacious and comfortable. No carpet! I was very happy about that. Amenities of the place included 24/7 coffee and cereal at the lobby. Hot bagels/burritos only during 6am-9am (1 per person). Vending machines were also in the lobby. Pool was closed due to remodeling. No business center or options to print out documents if needed. For some reason there was too much noise on the upstairs room. Sounded like people were either jumping all over or the room was getting remodeled as it was banging and moving stuff around. Staff that helped me checked in was somewhat knowledgeable. She was still in training so she was unable to answer some of my questions. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. read more

It is nasty, and the health department needs to do something about it. We stayed here one (1) night. From the second we stepped through the door we were both in ahh! The first thing we noticed was the wood floors were separated in multiple spots. Then came the smell from the couch in the room. It smelled like dog pee. As we walk over to check out the beds and plug in our phones the outlets have what looks like water damage all over them. The bathroom just gets worse. Mildew all over the shower, block mold that was once painted over is now coming back through. Dust collected all over the bathroom fan. I couldn't wash enough to fell clean. The window lock doesn't even lock the window so there is no way to actually keep yourself safe. This place reminds me of a Motel! read more

We stayed here as an over night adventure to get out of the heat of Tucson! Let me start off by saying the gal who checked us in was very friendly and polite. Because of the pandemic, the breakfast was not available, however she did offer us a sack breakfast with 3 different options. We each got the breakfast burrito, which was OK for free. The room itself was pretty decent, until I noticed a stain on the sheets!! Gross!!! This just put a damper on the whole room. Also, the remote didn't work unless you were right up close to the TV. We stayed last weekend. While the room looked nice it definitely wasn't clean. The floors were filthy. My daughter had her shoes off and her feet were black like asphalt. I had to carry her to the bathroom sink to wash them. The refrigerator was very clean but the stove and toaster oven had crumbs left behind. It looks like the housekeeping staff does the bare minimum. We requested extra towels and they delivered them right away. The closet had empty water bottles and caps. The bathroom looked clean except for the corner of the shower. Breakfast burritos and bagel sandwiches were just okay. I would stay again if the rooms were cleaned better. Desperate to get out of the Phoenix record breaking heat we looked to book a hotel in Flagstaff. We booked on a Wednesday for a Saturday night stay. Cost was $200 a night total. Upon arrival I was a little worried. The hotel appeared to be like a motel 6. Immediately we noticed the pool was covered and a note saying it was closed. Check in was at 3pm. The inside of our room was remodeled and actually had a nice minimalist look. There was a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in the room. Breakfast consisted of a brown "bag" breakfast or either a bagel and sausage or breakfast burrito. Bottled water was included. I definitely felt like I overpaid but I guess it's a supply and demand situation. The pool , hot tub and breakfast area was closed so that makes paying $200 a night that much harder ... Conveniently located with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Front desk was nice and polite. read more

Room 231 The price is right if you want bed bugs and a dirty room. The room was filthy, when I got there something sticky was on the floor, i moped the floor with some rags and the rags were black. The toilet was dirty, the bathroom was so filthy. Dust everywhere, the wall by the toilet was dirty, like literal poop marks. The whole room walls were covered with grime marks, the microwave was dirty, dust all over the bed frames, the chair was covered in mud, the sheets were dirty, I had to ask the front desk for new sheets. I couldn't ask for a different room since i arrived at 3am. I still stayed since it was convenient for me, I went to Walmart the next day and bought cleaning supplies and cleaned the room myself, which is fine because I clean houses for a living, it was all great until the last day, I failed to check the beds properly and I discovered a bed bug. read more

I thought this was a really nice hotel to spend the night at. Paid about $131 with a $25 pet fee. Room was clean, with some small wear and tares around, but nothing I was bothered by. The computer chair had some tares in it, a socket was cracked, and some paint peeling in the bathroom. Covers and towels smelled like bleach, no stains on them, and the floors were nice and clean. Everything seemed to function well, no issues noted. This hotel also has a small breakfast hall where they had cereal, bagels, coffee, juice, apples, and if you want a breakfast burrito or breakfast sandwich you just have to ask the front desk. I would definitely come back next time I'm in the area. I truly enjoy finding pet friendly hotels that allow me to have my boy. read more

This hotel was a convenient stop on a road trip between Denver and Orange County during the coronavirus when road trips are safer than flying. We arrived early afternoon and our room was ready. We didn't have a hard time finding it and parking is close to the room so there's no need for bellhop. At check-in, the attendant offered us a choice of prepared take out breakfast from their kitchen on-site because the breakfast buffet was closed due to health concerns. We ordered bagel sandwiches and burritos for the next day and had it delivered to the room in a brown paper sack w/ a piece of fruit and a milk - a nice touch! (PS Breakfast is at 6am M-F / 7am weekends.) The room was updated and clean. It was nice to be inside our room away from the car we had just spent 10hrs in but the pool and grounds seemed like they could use a little updating. We were in a king bed accessible room so it was spacious but our Tv weirdly had connectivity issues so we needed an attendant to look at it - he toyed with some wires and got it working enough to where the buzzing wasn't overwhelming. The location was good proximity to a road trip essential: Walmart. We got to get some drinks and a few other things just across the street. We also ordered some take out from the nearby downtown hub. With restaurants closed for dine-in, take out was our only option. All in all, for the money and the small amount of time we spent there, I recommend this spot. I wouldn't return just to use the pool - but if I'm in the area again, I'd support this little hotel again. read more

Absolutely FILTHY floors. Food crumbs, change, paper clip found under seat cushion of chair. The toiletries are ZERO. Hospital grade pump soap, shampoo and lotion. Must run LOUD fan each time you turn the light on in the bathroom. The fridge was so small we couldn't put a meal go box in it. The freezer was also frozen over. Have to get on your knees to get to the fridge. Unfortunately I don't have pics of the chair. DONT expect much for breakfast either. A rubbery, fake bacon and egg bagel or a burrito. TASTLESS. I actually went to the front desk showed all these photos of the room and apparently it was sent to the manager and they were supposed to call me back about the unacceptable condition and they were fully booked and couldn't move us to a new room. No call so I want to inform everyone never to stay here. They also have the black makeup towel so you don't stain the white towels but apparently it's acceptable to put blood period spotted sheets on the beds. Ridiculous and absolutely foul!! This is a good place to stay that's close to pretty much all. You can walk to a few restaurants and Walmart is right across the street! Pretty much everything else is a 3-10 min drive. The staff is friendly. Due to covid there is no housekeeping services when you are checked in. If you need clean towels or something you need to call the front desk and it'll be brought to you. They serve cereal, juice, and breakfast sandwiches and burritos in the morning which is nice. From the outside the place looks a bit rundown and could use a remodel. The staff was friendly upon check in and check out. Rooms were larger than I expected. Beds were comfortable. Only downer was the housekeeping was subpar. There were a few things that grossed me out that I needed to clean myself. Other than that it was a good place to stay at an affordable price. They do offer free wifi too which you absolutely need in Flagstaff as all mobile carrier services seem to suck there. read more

My mom and I checked in here this summer after a long drive from Las Vegas. She chose this hotel because two of her longtime friends were staying here as well. Room was clean, bed was cozy. It's across the street from Walmart and close to many restaurants and Northern Arizona University. When my mom and I arrived back at the hotel after dinner one night were were unexpectedly locked out of our room, though we had booked one more night there. We went down to the front desk to address this issue and the lady there reactivated both of our room keys. She was super helpful and friendly. It is place to sleep. The room that we had faced the freeway so we heard that all night the parking is scarce. They don't clean the rooms properly. After taking a shower our feet got so dirty, so they don't sweep & mop. I also found a wade of hair on the floor that was neither mine nor my husbands. The regular coffee was out of order so everyone had to have decaf. There is mold going in the grout & around the shower pan. read more
