Quick bowl. Lovely staff. Clean establishment. Played two games and had a small problem getting the second one started. Staff helped right away and were super nice.

Stopped by during the holiday break to give it a go. I couldn't find my favorite ball...11 lb. However, I couldn't really look thoroughly seeing as how so many folks were here from what appeared to be leagues...bags everywhere and I ended up at...the end (lane 40). The customer service was efficient, especially since I had to request a little dinosaur ramp for the little guy. Though he really didn't need it. The food is affordable and it always seems welcoming when you enter. The 7" pizza is a great deal for kids with a small drink. I think it's great place for the family to have some fun; also their arcade is available as well. I had the hotdog w/ fries! Hey, why not :-)

Greenway has been a go-to for my family for years. What we love is how many lanes there are to bowl on, I never have counted but there's at least 20+ lanes. Our last visit was a party of 10 with 8 bowlers. We paid by the hour, around $40 per lane for 4 bowlers on each lane. Everyone had a great time despite the Meh customer service. Employees are never over friendly. At times can be down right rude. But for the bowling experience, clean bathrooms and price. Not a bad time at all.

Dope spot, air hockey, TVs, real bar, and pizza is better than most chains. Good kids birthday spot also.

The snack bar nor bar accept credit cards. Today they got an ATM that is out of service. The restrooms smell bad. On two previous occasions the snack bar has had horrible costumer service because the older lady is grumpy and seems to hate costumers. Today the bar and snack bar had better and younger attendants. They were out of limes but made an amazing Long Island Ice Tea. Other than the restrooms the place is clean and has great potential but it is overpriced and their summer Kids Bowl for Free is a rip-off. They do accept credit cards to pay for bowling but cannot give you cash back for any other transaction in the bowling alley. This is Bad because today my family and I were planning to spend the afternoon here, bowling, eating and having a few drinks. Now we have to cut our plans short because the lack of care this bowling alley has. There is no music not music box, the atmosphere is blah/lame. This place has so much potential but everything they lack shows the lack of care to provide their costumers a good time. No Credit Card acceptance now days is unacceptable, there are even apps for that.

My first ever turkey! Bday luck???

My fiance and daughter treated me to some bday bowling. Came here this past weekend Sunday to be exact and wasn't particularly thrilled with the atmosphere. It was really non exciting maybe Sunday are slow days but definitely wasn't crowded. Music was playing but nothing to get you pumped like music most bowling places play. The girl who was servicing us looked to be in the teens and less than thrilled to be there. I get it you may not have the best job in the world or some teen issues going on but at least look/play the part at work. Her facial expressions said I don't want to be here. We got our lanes and like I said Sunday might be slow days as there were some elderly people and a large family there. The decor is ok but my gripe is the computer system they have. The touch screens were totally off when inputing info where you have to stab the screen with your finger to recognize what you want it to do. We had to call the poor girl over twice because she had to reset our lane manually. Why isn't there a reset option on our screen to do it ourselves? The character screens for strikes, splits, spares etc were very lack luster it didn't give you that AHA! I did it feel jus made it feel blah. I had my first turkey ever! (Three strikes in a row) all that popped up was a standstill turkey lol. I've been to way more lively bowling alleys than this. I may come back on a lively night for them just to see if I was wrong. Prices are decent though and there's some arcades, short order and bar.

    Fun times!

For being 100 years old I really expected this coaster to be all bad like super rough and yeah but that wasn't the case on my ride in the front row as I felt it was decently smooth for being this old and wooden! I'm pretty sure this is the oldest coaster I've ever ridden and I take that into consideration when I justify the roughness of the ride as for being this old it's not that bad it's good to see that Six Flags America is keeping this 100 year old coaster in this good of condition in our nations capitol! Overall I expected a lot less of this ride and what I found on this very day is a great old school coaster that's still kicking it 100 years later so make sure you get to ride it as you never know what might happen to it in the future with all these new Hybrid Coasters popping up!

Some of the bounce areas were deflating, then the water in the random corner, and also the attractions had a strange musty smell in some areas (I think they need to improve their water drying protocols). I think they can also improve their training of staff. One of the staff members using the card machine did not know how to work it. On 8 May 1999 I heard advertisements for The Joker's Jinx . I remember I didn't like the ads for the ride, but I knew I would certainly ride this ride. The day I went to the park, I rode many rides, because I know the line for this ride would be long no matter what time I went. When I finally arrived to the ride, the line was long, but there were refreshments for those in line. The lemonade hit the spot and I had plenty of time before I rode the ride to get the fluid into my system. When I saw the paint job for the Joker, I never thought emerald green and purple went well together, BUT THEY DO. Oh, I was young back then. I even bought a Joker's Jinx tee shirt. At that time I wore a large tee shirt. I don't remember what happened to the shirt, but I know I through...no...I believe I gave it to good will. When I finally got to the gated area, you had to pass by several mirrors that made you look distorted. For my first experience I went straight to the back where I had to wait a little longer. Why, because the rear is tighter? Because I like it in the rear? Or because the rear of the car is the fastest. This answer is the best answer. The front is the slowest, but the rear end gets pushed forwards because of the force of the front of the car. The middle seats are a natural point. In this case since it is a blast coaster it pretty much doesn't matter until you feel the rear end of the car moving faster from the pulling of the rest of the cars. The spiraling looks to the side way turns make this rollercoaster a lot of fun. Listening to one of the operator say "Hands Up, hands up, I wanna see your hands." Once everyone's hands were up, he would hit the go button and everyone in the coaster cars would shoot forwards. I would love to say The Joker's Jinx started the blast coasters craze, but it wouldn't be true. Still, I had a lot of fun. This ride is a steel ride and steel rides have been know to be smoother than the wooden rollercoasters. I wouldn't mind going on this ride again. I would call this a high thrill ride.

This isn't the type of adventure you can show up to on a whim. You have to schedule a visit in advance. I scheduled a date and time over the phone. They took my credit card info, a contact number and my kids' names. The first date I scheduled was cancelled due to inclement weather. Pirate Adventures called and cancelled the adventure about three hours prior to when it was supposed to start. I elected to reschedule right then. I was instructed to arrive a half hour before our adventure so the kids could get their faces painted and pick out a sash. We parked on the street a few blocks away not realizing they have a parking lot. We checked in, the kids were given name tags with their name and an alliterative adjective (ie Zig Zag Zora and Kung Fu Kieran) and then reported to the face painting and sash picking area. After face painting kids and adults boarded the boat and the Chesapeake part of the adventure began. The captain went over a few safety measures with the adults while his assistant went through guidelines with the kids. The adventure has a whole story with different parts involved that kept the seven kids on our adventure entertained. Ages ranged from probably three to fourteen. These parts included a map search, treasure hunt, key finding expedition, pirate fight and a final pirate bounty quest. For the adults, we just hung out under a shaded portion of the boat. I got up to interact with my kids a few times and to snap some pictures. Mostly I just enjoyed the boat ride. The whole adventure lasted almost two hours (counting face painting). If you have kids that love to pretend and don't mind riding a boat, Pirate Adventures on the Chesapeake might be right up their alley.
