Reminds me of a mom & pop alley. Family friendly but the music wasn't so loud or vulgar. The food took about 45m to come out after we ordered and they only had 4 options of beer on draft. It was difficult to put our names on the board. I think there was something wrong with our kiosk so we had to ask the staff members to input the names in for us. The prices were very reasonable. Fun place to go for something different to do. It's close to home and a bit less expensive than the bowling alley in Annapolis. It seems newer and they had a wide selection of bowling ball sizes. The alley itself is a decent place. But sad to say the open bowling prices are too high for family fun. Will be costly for a family of 4. But for tournament play it is a very good place to bowl. Stopped by during the holiday break to give it a go. I couldn't find my favorite ball...11 lb. However, I couldn't really look thoroughly seeing as how so many folks were here from what appeared to be leagues...bags everywhere and I ended up at...the end (lane 40). The customer service was efficient, especially since I had to request a little dinosaur ramp for the little guy. Though he really didn't need it. Greenway has been a go-to for my family for years. What we love is how many lanes there are to bowl on, I never have counted but there's at least 20+ lanes. Our last visit was a party of 10 with 8 bowlers. We paid by the hour, around $40 per lane for 4 bowlers on each lane. Everyone had a great time despite the Meh customer service. Employees are never over friendly. At times can be down right rude. But for the bowling experience, clean bathrooms and price. Not a bad time at all. read more

What I Love: *The parking lot is pretty big. *I appreciated the diversity in their customer clientele which reflected in their music choice *Their music spanned from country to r&b to pop to hip hop to alternative. It looks like the alleys from the 90s. *The staff are very helpful, knowledgeable, and quick to respond. *The food and drinks are pretty good and reasonably priced. *Most importantly: it was $20 per person. That's it. $20 included your shoes and unlimited bowling from 930p - 1a. Things to Keep in Mind: *Their Glow Bowl is pretty popular. To guarantee your experience, I recommend reserving your lane(s) in advance. To reserve, you must pay the price of 2 players. For us, I paid $40 for each lane. In return I was given a tix per $20. As my friends came, I gave them a tix and they gave me their $20 which replenished the reservation fee. *The lights are turned down a bit but not enough to glow. It was brighter than I thought. So don't come wearing light colors expecting to glow in the dark. *Bring cash. For it to be 2019, their bar and grill only accepts cash. Definitely an inconvenience so come prepared. The snack bar nor bar accept credit cards. Today they got an ATM that is out of service. The restrooms smell bad. On two previous occasions the snack bar has had horrible costumer service because the older lady is grumpy and seems to hate costumers. Today the bar and snack bar had better and younger attendants. They were out of limes but made an amazing Long Island Ice Tea. Other than the restrooms the place is clean and has great potential but it is overpriced and their summer Kids Bowl for Free is a rip-off. They do accept credit cards to pay for bowling but cannot give you cash back for any other transaction in the bowling alley. This is Bad because today my family and I were planning to spend the afternoon here, bowling, eating and having a few drinks. Now we have to cut our plans short because the lack of care this bowling alley has. There is no music not music box, the atmosphere is blah/lame. My fiance and daughter treated me to some bday bowling. Came here this past weekend Sunday to be exact and wasn't particularly thrilled with the atmosphere. It was really non exciting maybe Sunday are slow days but definitely wasn't crowded. Music was playing but nothing to get you pumped like music most bowling places play. The girl who was servicing us looked to be in the teens and less than thrilled to be there. I get it you may not have the best job in the world or some teen issues going on but at least look/play the part at work. Her facial expressions said I don't want to be here. We got our lanes and like I said Sunday might be slow days as there were some elderly people and a large family there. The decor is ok but my gripe is the computer system they have. The touch screens were totally off when inputing info where you have to stab the screen with your finger to recognize what you want it to do. We had to call the poor girl over twice because she had to reset our lane manually. Why isn't there a reset option on our screen to do it ourselves? The character screens for strikes, splits, spares etc were very lack luster it didn't give you that AHA! I did it feel jus made it feel blah. I had my first turkey ever! (Three strikes in a row) all that popped up was a standstill turkey lol. I've been to way more lively bowling alleys than this. I may come back on a lively night for them just to see if I was wrong. Came here with my family and friend to randomly bowl on a Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere was pretty chill. Of course when going out with my brother and sister alcohol seems to be involved. Hahah. There is a full service bar towards the back of the building. I got a pitcher of bud lite for around 12 bucks. They also have a small arcade and billards. The pricing wasn't bad as you pay for your games when you are done. I believe it's under $4 for shoes and $4.65 per game. I hadn't been in Greenway for about 15 years but ended up there for a birthday party for one of our 6-year-old's friends. It's cleaned up a lot since the 90s, and they've got modern scoring equipment (flatscreen TVs! Touchscreens!) and the lanes are well maintained. The staff was friendly and accomodating for the big crowd; they got the food out to everyone and cleaned up -- no small effort for ten or fifteen kids (hard to keep track). I'd certainly come back here for stuff, but for a smaller-kids party I'd recommend Severna Park Lanes (owned by the same people) -- they have DUCK PINS. read more

This place is a great location to come with a group (for events or parties), as well as for a fun date as a couple. There are a ton of lanes, and have a pretty good bar/food counter. It's about $10 for shoes and lane rental, which is a bargain! This is really family friendly too. There are bumpers and ball guides available for little ones if needed. There are restrooms on both ends of the alley, so when you need to take your little ones for a potty break, you don't have to go too far. This location is cleaner than most bowling alley's I've been to, which is a major plus for me. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They're always smiling and came to aid us every time our kids ball got stuck on the lane. I thought they'd get irritated with always having to come over, but she was always eager to help. :) We've typically come here on Saturday afternoons, and we are normally able to get a lane right away. Though, you can call ahead to check lane availability, or if bowling leagues are utilizing lanes, etc. You are able to pay a small fee to reserve lanes (should you come with a large group) if necessary as well. read more

I love this bowling alley. :) I chose this one over the others in my area to go to for my birthday a few months back. Their late-night weekend bowling is pretty much the same as far as entertainment goes as the others, but I choose here for the lesser-crowds and personable business operations. I can call here and reserve lanes without too much hassle, even on their busiest nights. I have always been a fan of the Greenway bowl. When I was younger we would frequent the Friday & Saturday night rockin' bowl (still available) for $20 a person all night long with shoes included. Lately, me and my group tend to stop by for their Wednesday special which includes $5 bowling from 3-5pm and shoes for $5 if needed. The reason I am giving Greenway a 3-star review is based on two factors (maybe one star for each?). During this 3-5 special, and often more than just this time frame, they don't have a bartender. You must constantly go find someone of the staff to inform them you are looking for a drink, just to wait until they, or someone qualified, can make their way to behind the bar. Secondly, the food and drink services are cash only! This may not be a problem for some but in our evolving world, people can throw a credit card reader on cell phone. So what's the delay at greenway? They do have an ATM Machine close by, however, there is no bank affiliate so you are forced to pay the ATM fee on top of the costly prices of their drinks. If your just looking for a nice bowling alley to go with friends or even a date, Greenway can be that place. Just don't leave the cash at home. read more

My students hosted an event there which we all had a grand time! The bowling alley itself is generally nice, clean, current, and roomy. I liked how the bowling balls were strategically located. The scoring center for each lane were computerized that was user friendly. The staff at the front desk were friendly. They've got some good deals for you and your family/friends. The arcade needs some updating and variety. Otherwise, don't bother with the arcade. The concession area could use some updating with some enticing food and drinks. First time visit and it won't be the last. Be warned, if you want to eat and drink alcohol, bring cash. There is an ATM that's a bit finicky, but after a reboot I finally was able to get cash. My friends and I come here quite often (2-3 times per month). Today was the first time in a while that I came on a Sunday. The parking lot was packed but once inside it wasn't that busy. I guess there was a tournament on the other side of the alley. We were able to walk in and grab a lane and bowl our three games. The only downside to this visit was when we went to pay we literally stood at the front desk for a good 5 min before we were even helped. Easily could have just walked out without paying. There even was a girl behind the desk that saw us who was on the phone the whole time. She could of at least acknowledged us and told us she'd be right with us instead of looking at us and continuing her phone call. This was a little rude. read more

Had a work party here and it was WONDERFUL. The staff is on the ball - pardon the pun. They all teamed perfectly together, making for a smoothly run event. The pizza was better than I had anticipated and oh, how we all grooved to tunes from Grease, being sung by Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. We go here every year for NYE! The party is from 4:30 to 6:30 with the countdown at 5:45! It's perfect for kids! They do rock-n-bowl and hang out glow necklaces to the kids! So there are some negative reviews that are - well they are ok on the surface but there's more to this place. We are here on a Sunday. So to start we did have an issue with the ATM but they started it over and it worked itself out. We probably won't even make it over to actually bowl, just hanging out in the bar with Miss Tess. I have been bowling at greenway since 2007 the people that work there are nice the problem is the HVAC nice renovations didn't bother doing anything about the A/C if you go and visit make sure you take a battery powered fan you will need it for sure . As far I'm concerned bowling centers ,malls , movie theaters are supposed to be cold in the summer time not hot greenway is very hot in the summer I won't there for summer league until it gets fixed better off going to Crofton it's cold in there. read more

Cool, old-school looking bowling alley in Odenton. We went here on a Friday night after leaving Crofton bowling since it was $22 for 10-2am bowling... we weren't planning on bowling ALL night so we said forget that and went to Greenway where it was around $4/game and around the same for each pair of shoes. We bowled a game on the end and got a couple pitchers of beer and nachos. Typical bowling alley stuff! They were playing radio rap/R&B some of which was pretty bad, but for the most part it was tolerable. There was only one girl working both the bar and food area, but she handled herself well as it wasn't too crowded. She made me a "tall" mixed drink when I asked but it wasn't very strong. Overall it was a nice time and I would definitely go back here next time I'm in the mood for bowling. read more
