I love stopping by this little brewery when I'm out downtown. Even though they don't have good, it's a pleasant place to sit and drink a beer if you're not in a hurry. The beers are great, and they have a good variety. It's nice to sit on the patio and people watch since it's right on Roosevelt. The staff keeps it tidy and clutter free, even in the busy times, which I appreciate. I would definitely recommend swinging by for a mango lassi cream ale or orange sour.

Thank you Meagan Greenwood for giving is a very special gift. We are grateful to bring in the new year with your extra special crowd. Sugar Thieves were amazing and got us jumping! Cheers~

Greenwood is brewing up some quality brews. Stopped in while making my rounds in the Roosevelt Row area and glad I did. Cozy space, friendly staff and an awesome outdoor patio. The Sunray sour I had was fantastic and the rosemary IPA was quite the hit while I was at the bar. Def worth a trip and a sip.

Greenwood Brewing is one of my favorite spots in downtown Phoenix. The beers are excellent--favorites like the Rosemary IPA, Herstory Pale Ale, and fun seasonal brews like Blueberry Wheat or Spicy Mango Gose keep things interesting. The vibe is just as good as the beer: a bright, welcoming beer garden with plenty of space to hang out. Plus, the location couldn't be better. Right in Roosevelt Row, you've got tons of great food and drink options within walking distance, so it's easy to make a whole night of it. Bonus points that it's a woman-owned brewery with a big focus on community and giving back. Definitely a must-visit if you're in Phoenix!

Chill brewery with lots of outside seating. Good selection of IPAs. Nothing special, just a good location with good beers.

Great spot with amazing in-house brewed beer. Prices are affordable, though the pours are on the smaller side. There's plenty of outdoor seating, which makes it a really nice and relaxing place to hang out--especially on a good weather day.

Woman owned! I love supporting a great business! They had a sugar rimmed beer. Outside and inside area is well maintained.

First trip to Greenwood Brewing and we loved it! Great beer, great music, tons of outdoor seating and super nice staff, and it's dog-friendly! One of our new favorite, female-owned breweries! We had a flight with Her Story Pale and IPA, and the Mango Lassi and Luna Amber. All of the beers were delicious! Our favorites were the Her Story Pale and the Amber, but they were all amazingly drinkable! The Mango was creamy and fruity and great for summer! There is food delivery available and nearby restaurants to bring back your own food. We will definitely be back!

I visited Greenwood Brewing for the first time a couple of years ago to do some day-drinking with friends. I don't know what it is about the place that feels so cozy. The taproom is not very big. You can sit at the bar counter or by the windows. There is also a patio and a courtyard with tables and chairs. On a different occasion, my friend and I came for trivia night. It's held in the courtyard, and it felt so nice sitting outside in the evening with a cold beer and testing our knowledge. They still do trivia on Tuesday nights (check their website for events). Recently, I stopped here for their Oktoberfest & 5-Year Anniversary Block Party. It was so packed inside the taproom and outside by the vendor booths. I loved seeing so many people having a good time and supporting a local brewery! Each time that I've been there, I've seen the founder, Megan Greenwood, chatting with patrons and leading brewery tours. Love this place and the community she has built with it.

My favorite downtown phx brewery! The interior is decorated so cute and not your typical industrial style, uncomfy barstool brewery vibe plenty of seating both indoor and out, and i appreciate that they have lots of pop-up events such as a live music, yoga, etc. On this day, they were doing an even with Pizzacletta (flagstaff based), so my friend and I enjoyed a pizza and a flight of beers.

The only reason I didn't give this updated review a 5-I ordered the banh mi sando and the sandwich was so dry. Chicken was dry. The cilantro wasn't chopped I had to pick out long stems. Also I got the AZ frosè and the rosemary syrup was just way too pungent to enjoy the whole beverage. I wished it had been more balanced. Especially when the French fries are heavily seasoned with rosemary--a bit too much.

For me, it was a big hike up to the north side- but totally worth the haul! I grew up in the Midwest, occasionally going to one or two German restaurant/ clubs, so this was not an unfamiliar atmosphere to me. It is definitely a "seasoned" vibe, having immediately taken over the space by a former western bar/beer hall that had been in existence for 50+ years. Their menu says "German and Hungarian" but all I read was German. They have a solid European beer selection, including taps and bottles and some cocktails with a German twist. The one that threw me for a loop (in the best way) was Kriek! So ofc I got a pint. We shared a (fairly large) pretzel to start, which comes with beer cheese. Tasty, but I was genuinely shocked there was no mustard. I ordered the jagerschnitzel (pork) and just overall the meal was as expected as if I was in the Midwest - amazing, delicious, insert chef's kiss. I wish I could have joined the clean plate club. The cucumber salad was flavorful and not too sour/pickley. My friend and I both noted how umami the savory sauce was- not too bacon, not too mushroom. The potatoes were not too salty or under-seasoned. Literally willing to drive up again if/when someone tells me to go. It wasn't horribly busy so it didn't take forever to order and get everything we needed. Our server was super nice and patient. She even gave a bar suggestion that ended up being a nice cherry for the top of the evening.
