A scaled-down version of most Pomos. Inside, the bar takes up most of the space in this open concept establishment. Most of the seating is outside/patio. The service is outstanding. I sat at the bar and the staff were all pleasant. I wanted something lite; I ordered shrimp and calamari and I was very pleased. Pomo is located inside Biltmore Fashion Square, so there is plenty of parking. Accessible entrance.

Great service! Enjoyed 2 slices of the Don pizza and a side ceasar. It was absolutely fabulous! I added hot honey and it was sublime! Took leftovers to hubby and he was also impressed! The place is a open aired to a point which on a semi humid 105° day isn't ideal (we were very hot!) but the decor was fun! Pizzas run $20 on average, side salad was $6. Quality & taste is worth the price! I plan to try other locations.

It's our wedding anniversary and we were both craving Pomo pizza- so here we are. We split the Bruschetta and a Quattro Formaggio pizza - everything tasted fabulous. The weather is overcast and moody, so we sat in a corner inside. I had a glass of wine and hubby had a Peroni- total for all about $50 before tip. It's small, but we enjoy the ambiance here. Service is ok and they usually have a good game on. We are now returning home to deal with our carb coma!

Between the three POMO Pizzeria locations, I have dined in at this chain of restaurants over 150 times! From their lunch specials, to Happy Hour, to their Neapolitan fare, I am always very happy with their offerings, no matter what time of the day. This specific location at the Biltmore is hands down my favorite due to their service. Ricky, one of their lead bartenders, makes the experience special every time. He gives great recommendations and is very knowledgeable with their food and wine menu. He adds character and his expertise to POMO and I always appreciate his great customer service! The ambiance with the Biltmore's patio and indoor/outdoor bar makes this location dog friendly as well. See you at POMO soon!

POMO is a go to for me for pizza, appetizers, and cocktails. The thin crust of the pizza is amazing and the proportions of the toppings are always spot on. You also must get an appetizer while eating here. We tried both the caprese and the fried zucchini and both were delicious. As for the salads, we weren't a huge fan of the panzenella. I split the salad with one other person and we both agreed that there were not enough peaches in the salad as we both only got about 2 peach slices. However, you can't miss out on the espresso martinis here at Pomo. They are at the top of my list for the best espresso martini in Phoenix . I definitely recommend going on "tini Tuesday" and trying out the $10 espresso martini.

When you have to review twice. I had to come for their lasagna. It's the very best & my favorite. Spacious seating on their patio. Intimate dining & bar inside. Great teamwork & bartender who took my order as I sat at the bartop. I absolutely love returning here!

Burratella pizza, is amazing!

Cute and cozy place but small for good pizza and a glass of red. The bartender keeps making espresso martinis so I'm sure they are delish. I'll have to try it next time.

Good Vibes here. Up beat music and modem fun feel. It is busy on a Friday night, but I was able to find ample seating at the bar. The bartender was attentive and gave good recommendations. He recommended the lasagna, and I'm glad he did. It was very good. To drink, I ordered the old fashioned smoked with cinnamon. It was good but nothing extraordinary. Overall I have a good first time here. Good for after work or date night. I will be back.

I was walking past Pomo and finally decided to give it a try. We sat at the bar, since it was fairly busy on a weeknight. The bartenders were very helpful with our order. We ordered the margarita pizza and salad. The pastas looked very delicious, but I wanted to finally check out the pizza after hearing lots of great reviews. I loved the salad, but was slightly underwhelmed by the pizza. It was still tasty, but I thought it was a bit too cheesy and wish there was more basil. The dough was great though. I might give another location a try and sample the pasta next time.

We had a really good dinner at this Pomo location. We normally go to the downtown Phoenix location but decided to come here instead. The space is a little smaller but we loved the outdoor patio space. It was pretty comfortable and very enjoyable on a nice night. The service was very fast and our waitress was attentive. They brought out our food pretty fast after ordering. The burrata was a nice appetizer to share and was what you'd expect from burrata. As for pizzas, we tried the margherita pizza and the quattro stagioni pizza. It wasn't on the menu but I asked for anchovies and they were able to add them to the margherita pizza. Overall, a nice place to grab a dinner. It's also important to note they have gluten free pizza!

I've gone to pomo's downtown location a few times, but this was my first time at the biltmore location and I loved it! It's a tad confusing to find as it's behind the other restaurants. I got the principe pizza and it was delicious! We chose to sit outside as the patio is super cute! Our sever was very personable and the service was pretty fast. I would definitely come back to this location. Parking is much better than the downtown one too haha.

Just a quick business munch on the peaceful, shaded patio. Pizza was delicious and loved the thin crust. Service was great as well.

An extra treat was that they have bottles of spicy oil on the tables, so I was able to enjoy the crusts by slathering them with the tasty oil as though they were breadsticks. On the way out, after mentioning to the bartender how good the oil was, I was gifted a couple of condiment cuplets to-go, which was a thoughtful and nice touch and sort of made up for the server who wasn't particularly warm or informative as I had to ask about the specials and whether or not all the pasta is freshly made, etc. Heck, if you have a great selling point like homemade pasta, talk it up and get us to drooling! There is a variety of seating available, including outside and at the bar--bar has an inside section as well as outside which is a nice design for the lovely weather days. However, it's unfortunate that the outdoor seating is on such a busy traffic corner, so it's not the little retreat it would otherwise be. The lunchtime music was more like happy hour music, not conducive to conversation--maybe for the cellphones-at-the -table crowd it's okay, but being near the Phoenix Art Museum and Arizona Opera, why not add to the cultural experience of the area by celebrating its Italian origins with some Italian music? Even if just added as interludes during every few pieces, it would enhance the ambiance. We had to raise our voices to carry on our conversation, but it was manageable. However, when I came back the next week with a friend with a hearing impairment, it became more problematic. She tried adjusting her hearing aids, but the thumping rhythm kept taking precedence as we tried to find a quieter corner, but it wasn't possible as it is a small space and speakers were close to each table. I felt so bad that she couldn't enjoy a meal there--we both were so looking forward to having a fresh pasta dish, but just couldn't stay. Upon leaving, I felt I should let management know why so I waited to speak to him, offering constructive criticism about the sound level but he was not the least apologetic nor said he would take it under advisement, but was completely dismissive and harrumphy as though we were annoying problems and not potential regulars with suggestions worthy of consideration. How hard would it be to have a quieter area or make a speaker accessible with volume control? People, whether on the spectrum, with hearing impairments, or just lovers of good conversation deserve respect and when it is not given, will go elsewhere....

Come for the Lasagna, Not the Candlelight Romance…read more We came here for a birthday dinner because we wanted to try something new, and by the end of the meal I found myself with two very different opinions: The food? Excellent. The ambiance? Let's talk about it. First, the good. The food was genuinely delicious. This feels like the kind of family-owned Italian restaurant where the focus is on what's coming out of the kitchen rather than what's hanging on the walls. Everything tasted like comfort food should; warm, satisfying, and made by people who care about the recipes. The service was also very good. In fact, the cook came out during our meal to ask how everything was. I was happy to tell him the food was fantastic because it absolutely deserved the compliment. Now for the not-so-good. We arrived around 5:30 PM, and the dining room was so quiet I could hear dishes being washed in the back. Not "pleasantly quiet." More "did everyone else know something I didn't?" quiet. For most of the meal there was no music at all. Just silence and the occasional clink of kitchen activity. They eventually turned on some background music shortly before we left, but it was so low that it felt more like a suggestion than actual ambiance. The tables, chairs, and overall décor are perfectly fine, but this isn't the place I'd choose for a romantic date night, anniversary dinner, or a birthday celebration where you're looking for a special atmosphere. What it is, however, is a great place to bring your spouse, kids, parents, in-laws, or anyone who appreciates good Italian comfort food without needing a white tablecloth experience. My advice? Come for the food. The food is worth it. If you're chasing ambiance, maybe lower your expectations or plan for a later dinner. The atmosphere seemed to improve after 6:30 PM as more people arrived. Bottom line: fantastic food, friendly service, family-dinner vibes. Just don't expect Tuscany. Expect comfort, and you'll leave happy.
