Very healthy, clean and so delicious. I loved that our meals came on nice plates. We shared a salad and gyro. At first I wasn't sure about green chile in the gyro but to my surprise it was good. Saw this place at Tiny Can Alley recently and had to give it a try. I got the falafel wrap and it was really delightful. The falafel was cooked just right and the pita wrap was structural enough to hold it all together and still be delicious! The person working here seemed to be all by himself but he was very friendly and my food came out quickly. It came with a bit of salad and some potatoes all of which were also quite good. This is a very good combination plate at a great price. This is a good addition to Tin Can Alley along with all of the other things available. I will probably go back to try some of the other options. In case you have trouble finding it, it's in a small space right near the stairs. read more

I ordered the Chicken Shawarma and the California Harvest Market Salad for my long drive back to CO. I had the pita first and it was AMAZING. so much protein packed in the neatly wrapped pita and perfect for eating on the go. The sauce and seasoning of the chicken is what made this one of the best pitas I've ever had. The salad was not short on any of the delicious ingredients. Ample avocado, beets, candied walnuts, goat cheese and so much more. If you're in the area, this is a must try. The ambiance is really cool too. I ordered the Shawarma Bowl and LOVED it. Not only is it tasty but also nourishing!! I'm confused as to why this one reviewer is complaining about how expensive it is when every vendor in Tin Can is at a similar price point if not more expensive? The "$4" comment is laughable. In this economy?? Anyways, back to how delicious my bowl was-- I love that it's healthy AND fairly priced IMO. I met the owner and he was very thoughtful and kind. Great salads and pasta! The salads are really nicely balanced: they have a lot of ingredients, but they feel very cohesive, with no one flavor dominating. Over the weekend I spent $55 on two bowls (they came in plastic boxes, of course) and two quiches. Are you imagining a whole quiche? imagine again. I didn't realize that "a quiche" mean one slice of quiche for $12 a piece. The slices were different colors, the dough was raw, and the texture was like jello. So much so that it bounced and the holes from the forks would immediately seal back up. The side of hashbrowns would have been good except for the fact that "hashbrowns" are suddenly synonymous with cubes of boiled potatoes. My friend got a bowl (I use that term lightly, as does this business) because it had kale, only to realize it was lettuce, which she couldn't eat. It came with "lemon tahini." Does that sound good? It doesn't matter-- that's ranch with water. Enjoy! read more

Payed 12 dollars for one slice of quiche that felt like jello, also the "hash browns" were boiled pieces of potato that were so mushy. And the quiche was supposed to have spinach and there was a couple pieces on top. Also they microwaved the food. The "lemon tahini dressing" was plain ranch on top. I spent 24$ on two pieces of quiche that were essentially two slabs of jello textured egg with spinach sprinkled on it. However, it came with hash browns! Wait- Correction: It came 25 mini cubes of bland boiled potatoes! Oh wait, I forgot to mention that each slab of jello quiche had different shades of yellow/orange colors (like it was left out for a couple days) resonating through the jello eggy mixture! But don't fret, I believe that you could possibly leave Tin Can without food poisoning because the residual heat from the microwave they use to heat up all of their meals would kill the bacteria. I could save this "meal(?)" for when I see a homeless disabled veteran panhandling, but i'm afraid that if I did he would get war flash backs to when his commanding officer forced him to eat grayish slob mixtures.
