My best friend and I were driving around the university area today and saw this spot and decided to check it out. We got the trio dip with pita, the dolmas salad and a few other items I can't remember the name of... and let me just say, I cannot wait to go back!!! It's delicious! Everything was super fresh and delicious!!!

I just love this spot! In the past I've been with family. Today I went solo to work remotely. Highly recommend! Comfortable seating, WiFi worked well, good food that is fairly priced

Loved this place and it deserves all the good reviews. Quick, delicious, affordable and a huge menu with all the Greek staples. Also an amazing selection of desserts and we had a couple which rocks.

I love this place! I discovered it a couple of years ago based on yelp reviews and I'm SO happy I tried it!! I always stay near the airport and this little local shop is approx 7 min away by UNM. Parking is awful, but even if you have to walk a mile in the yucky heat, the food is SO worth it!! I've tried multiple items on the menu. Some of my faves being the chicken gyro with spicy hummus, Greek salad, spicy whipped Feta dip, dolmas and now the brownies lol! All dressings and sauces are made in house. The Greek dressing is amazing and the hummus is some of the most tasty I've had! The spicy Whipped Feta dip is to die for! I'd never had dolmas before and was pleasantly surprised at the tart taste of those appetisers. The only thing I wasn't wild about was the spanakopita, which I usually love. Theirs was made different than I've had before - it has egg in it and I didn't like that version as much as the version I've had at other places with just spinach and feta. The service is always prompt despite as busy as this place always is. You can place orders online or call as well as eat inside or outside at the few tables they have if you want to brave the NM heat. If I weren't traveling for business I would choose eating inside the cute little restaurant. All the workers are super nice and the prices are very reasonable. I've recommended this place to my colleagues that have visited Albuquerque and I'll continue to support Gyros each time I am in ABQ.

Food was amazing under $30 for two combos. The patates were so good that I could. It stop eating them. The dressing on the salad super yummy. The service is good. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you. The vibe is good and busy.

After our mini tour of New Mexico State, we decided it was time for lunch, and Mediterranean food was on our minds. Honestly, it always is, lol. The spot was an excellent choice on our road trip through New Mexico. The restaurant is nice and spacious, with many tables and outside seating. It also boasts beautiful Greek art on the walls. Be mindful that there is a chalkboard menu behind you when you arrive and are looking towards the cashier. What we got: For me, I opted for the fish gyro, which came with gyro meat, homemade fried chips, and a fresh Greek salad. My husband chose the beef kabob meal, accompanied by a generous portion of Greek salad. We loved everything about the food. The gyro meat was perfectly seasoned and tender, complemented by the crunchy homemade chips. The Greek salad was fresh and flavorful, with crisp vegetables and tangy feta cheese. The only minor complaint I would make is that the fish was a bit salty, but it didn't detract too much from the overall enjoyment of the meal. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our Mediterranean dining experience and would definitely try this restaurant again on our next visit to New Mexico.

A Greek salad, lamb kabob, and rice

This place is just an all around 10! Firstly, the atmosphere is great. It is clean and is well decorated! The staff is kind and quick, and the food is just awesome! For my first time having Greek food I can say it was very enjoyable. I chose a great place to go my first time. On top of it all, it's very affordable which I can appreciate as a student. For two people, we payed under $20!

Extensive, enticing menu!

I've had my eye on this place for a while and checked them out today. The fried halloumi pita was fantastic. I'm looking forward to trying more from them!

Moussaka and atmosphere were very good. Here's a sentence or two to get up to the 65 character threshold that yelp requires.

Apparently they didn't have hummus even though the menu showed it available, which is fine these things happen but they didn't let me know ahead of time; they just told the driver when he came and asked him to ask me if I wanted to replace it with a slice of pie. I tried to message the driver back but he was already on the way 3 minutes after the message. I called the restaurant, they had someone answer the phone who doesn't speak English and only speaks Spanish. I mean, I think the phone rep speaking English is definitely not a bad idea when your customers speak English, but let's put that aside, I happen to know a little rusty Spanish so I spoke to him and I told him I didn't order desert on purpose , but he can send extra of an item I already did order , he said it was too late and just hung up on me. The food got here and the tabouli was awful, worst I've ever had. The dolmas tasted canned, the Greek salad was barely eatable , the garlic dip was more like a garlic mash, and everything tasted like it went bad and was sitting out for hours

What was even better was the taste of both the Gyro and the feta fries. As you can see from the photo the Gyro was stuffed full of meat and other goodies while the feta fries were plentiful and all covered with sauce and seasonings. Absolutely delicious. I can't comment on the ambience because I got delivery, as usual. But the delivery went smoothly, and as stated above, the presentation of the food was stellar. I also had a second order from them about six weeks later that I ordered with several friends. Again, the food's presentation was appealing, and the food was great. My friends also indicated that their salad and Mediterranean sampler were delicious. I will definitely be ordering from them again, and I don't think you'll be disappointed if you do the same.

Having the brewery across the street and lots of door dash orders meant that dining in orders took a lot longer than we anticipated. It would be great to have some blinds for the hot afternoon sun, every seat was in the sun and hot. We also had to go back to the counter to ask for our baklava that they didn't bring out to us.

We arrived a few minutes after noon on a Saturday and were promptly seated. Our waitress took drink orders and returned to answer our questions and take our orders. We had a lamb gyro, lamb kebab and my daughter ordered a plate with a sweet rice, falafel, hummus and a Mediterranean salad. Everyone was more than pleased with the flavors of their dish. We shared tastes around. I found the rice interesting, but prefer more savory when accompaniment to an entree. The marinated lamb for the kebab was outstanding and the meat cooked perfectly. I even tried the hummus which to my surprise was very good. I do not as a rule enjoy chick peas, but this mix was delightful. The restaurant itself carried the desired theme, even offering traditional low seating for those who wish that feeling. Solid five stars. I'd give extra to the wait staff for how they dealt with the chronic complainer at the next table, if Yelp would allow that extra. If you're looking for outstanding Mediterranean cuisine, give Pars a try.

PARS should wonder how many customers have just stopped eating in their establishment because of the ridiculous prices. They have competitors and will be going there in the future.

Dorothea's is a nice white table cloth restaurant that feels upscale but still homey enough to bring our soon to be 2 yo grandson. We had: Steamed clams 5/5: The clams were prepared, presented and flavored well. There were 2 clams that didn't open so it would have been nice if they just removed them instead of tempting us to pry them open (which would be bad clams) but the other clams were so good we wanted to open them! The sauce was a little too wine-y for me but I can see how some people would enjoy dipping the bread they give you into it. Crab mac and cheese 5/5: Wow. The bechamel sauce was so rich and creamy! Good chunks of crab made this mac and cheese so decadent! Greek salad 4/5: This was fresh and tasty but I was a little surprised by how small the salad was considering all the other dishes have such an amazing price point! It would serve once person well. Lobster pasta 5/5: Nice spicy kick that hits you later. Good chunks of lobster and the pasta was so light! I forgot to ask if it was fresh pasta or not. Maybe a question for our next visit! Niko gyro 5/5: the meat was good but what made it amazing was all those nice shoestring fries on top! The fries also had some kind of spicy pepper on top that gives it the extra kick! Traditional gyro 4/5: This was just your traditional gyro with fries. It's good but it doesn't seem fancy! Overall I love this place! The price point is amazing and if we have the time I would definitely like to come again with the family. The service was great with our waiter David filling our water glasses without us having to ask. He also cleared the table and was easy to talk to. Love this place!

My favorite were the little neck clams, lamb lollipop, and Greek plate. The Saganaki, crab stack, and tiropita were just okay. Lamb Shank: This was one of the best entrees ordered. The meat was fall apart tender and flavorful. The orzo was a little watery but was cooked to the correct doneness. Branzino: I assumed that this would be a whole branzino fish but they had already taken it apart which was nice. However, there were a couple of bones that were missed. Crab Mac: This was cheesy and very good. My only grip is that the pasta was a little overcooked. Service: 5 The servers were patient with all the questions and orders from a big group. They did not make any mistakes and food came out at good intervals. Ambiance: 5 The restaurant would be perfect for a date night. It wasn't too noisy and offered a little privacy between tables.
