I got into an accident and went through Insurance to have my vehicle fixed. The job was done well cosmetically from what I could see. However, about a year and a half later, I had another incident and the second that my front bumper was damaged the paint immediately flaked and chipped away. When I brought my truck to two different shops to get quotes to have the work done, the FIRST THING out of both of the managers mouths at each shop was "Who painted your bumper"? When I tell you that it was the first thing out of both of their mouths I am not lying. I told them who it was, and that the reason I went to them was because they got such amazing reviews on Yelp. They both told me obviously that the bumper was not primed and prepped at all and that it was just simply painted. The bodywork, etc. that was done to my vehicle from what I can see was done correctly. I was not told otherwise. But the painting of my replacement bumper was half ass. You would expect that simple things like that are done correctly. I really wanted to leave them a good review and to be honest with you I wouldn't have known any difference had I not gotten into a second fender bender. But I'm glad that the other two mechanics pointed it out to me immediately. I had asked for a quote when I was there to fix a small dent in my trunk and I was quoted $1200 from Bona Fide. I found another gentleman that's been doing bodywork for 40 years and he did it for 250 bucks and did a phenomenal job. If you're gonna be a retail shop that charges retail prices you better do quality work front to back.

I was more than upset to say the least that my baby got it's first booboo, and wanted to get it fixed. I shopped around and went to various different body shops that were near home and work, and based on recommendations. I received multiple quotes that ranged from $1000-1700 to fix my bumper. Each shop stated that my bumper was pricey, which it was at $650. Centerline Collision was the last body shop that I visited to get a quote to fix my bumper. It was the best experience out of the other 4 shops I went to. It was also the most reasonable estimate. Dominick was the only mechanic to actually look UNDER my car and INSIDE of my trunk to see if there was additional damage. He actually got on the ground and looked under my car. Nobody else did that for me. I knew this was the shop for me. I had made my decision. Dominick kept lines of communication open! Called me when my bumper came in and stated I had to come in for a color match. I came in the next day. Dominick then said he would call when the paint was dry and my bumper could be put on. He stated there was no reason for me to leave my car with him if my bumper wasn't ready. The next day came and my new bumper was ready! Dropped my car off after work, and it was ready by mid afternoon. Only took about a half a day, which is what I was told when I received my estimate. Also, each time I came in (color match, dropping off my car, picking up my car) I was welcomed by name! Talk about great customer service. I am very satisfied with the work that was done here. Many…read moremembers of my family and my friends have been brining our vehicles to that location for over a decade, as it was formerly owned by Henry and Joe. In all the years, I never had a single issue with H&J. They were mechanics with integrity. The new owner of "J&J" lied to me several times throughout my first experience under his command. When confronted regarding the initial lies, he constructed more lies. Expect him to "find" problems with your vehicle and expect an inflated bill because of it. Do not expect him to have your vehicle ready when he agrees to. Do not expect a courtesy call to inform you that it's not actually ready yet either. Expect no one to answer the phone at the shop for hours after the agreed upon pickup time. Above all, expect him to prioritize his road service over your scheduled appointment and to lie about the reasons your service was delayed. These interactions are difficult to summarize into words. Something you unfortunately understand following a first hand experience. If you want to feel like you were taken advantage of and lied to, this is your guy. The new owner of J&J recently acquired this business. Most of the positive google reviews are older and should be credited to the former owners only. Those guys were worth their weight in gold. His recent positive reviews are clearly orchestrated to offset the incoming negative feedback.
