We have been here a total of two times and, both times, we have been very happy with service. Our fine in experience was AMAZING! Our server was attentive, the ambiance was quiet for a Saturday afternoon but, it was warm and welcoming. We ordered takeout on a Saturday night and our order was over 5 entrees. Every single thing was perfect from our appetizers to our desserts. All the food was very flavorful, chicken was tender and the meatballs are out of this world. The pizza is yummy! I'm not a big fan of thin slices or a layer of grease on top, but it was so delicious that I forgot about my preferences. The restaurant is very nice and you can either sit at the bar or the booths and tables. The lunch special is 2 slices and a drink for $6 plus tax. Can't beat that! Gregorio's is our local go to place for soul Italian food! We generally eat in or just do take out and have always had a good experience here. They have generous serving sizes and food seems to be home cooked quality :) We generally get their pasta dishes and I like the sauce and the meatballs! Delivery Review: For some reason, my expectation when we choose Gregorio's Trattoria was not that high. After a long week of planning our upcoming relocation to Atlanta, dealing with a 5 month old and such we just wanted delivery. We ordered our Spaghetti Pasta dishes; my wife got the Gamberetti Fra Diavolo which was Wild Caught Shrimp in Spicy Marinara Sauce Served Over Linguine. I got Spaghetti al Fungi which included spaghetti in a tomato sauce with mushrooms. My entree was absolutely delicious. The mushrooms were cooked into the spaghetti to perfection! I was literally raving on how great it tasted with every bite. We ordered through Grubhub and the estimated time was the time they came. This is an easy 5 star review. read more

Tried this place three times. First time, pizza delivered 2 hours early, so it was cold for the arrival of guests. Second time, they sent the wrong pizzas, and they were late. Third time I decided to pick it up to avoid these problems; called-in the order three hours ahead. Arrived on time to pick up but it was not ready. All the other customers who came in to pick up had their orders ready. The employee said, "Sorry we're backed up," and kept asking me to pay the bill while waiting for the late order. Gregorios is by far the BEST Italian food in the area. The portions are huge and the prices are extremely reasonable! While I have my "regular" menu favorites, I've never had a bad dish! And if you like bruschetta, nobody makes it better!! 100% MUST GET! The staff are so friendly and the owner is there quite often mingling with everyone. First, I am only give this place a 3 stars because the service was excellent. The entire staff was welcoming and genuinely nice. Our waitress was probably one of the best we have had in a very long time. Now onto the food. It was barely average at best. I felt that the food was a bit too bland for my taste. Maybe the establishment is catering towards a certain audience. We ordered the eggplant parmigiana and shrimp diavalo. Both dishes were ok. I did take the eggplant parmigiana home and it tasted better when it was reheated. I came here for lunch and ordered a XL cheese pizza and the kids chicken tenders with fries. The fries were ok. You get three decent size chicken tenders. They were good. Nothing special. We really like Gregorios but every time we order on line or call it in there's always something missing or a request not honored. we did curbside yesterday. I tip on card and whomever brings the order to car I give a few dollars cash as well. specifically noted to remember breadsticks with entree order and requested extra even if an up charge. we got our bag handed and girl said everything was in there.. so since it was crowded in the curbside line we moved on. Got home, no breadsticks, Requested sauce on side, it was on dish. Doesn't anyone cross check? it's not worth calling as we weren't driving back and got put on hold as it was prime time. We will continue to support this place, but hope they get there game up. Prices are up and we hope to see an improvement. The only time our order was ever rightvus when we went in and picked it up and asked manager to check it...he immediately remedied the order as it was done incorrectly. Food is always good. Not only is the food outstanding, but the owner is old school. He's there, almost every night, welcoming you to his family restaurant. He makes it a point to check in, to ensure everything is ok; but not too long; makes you feel appreciated and welcome. The Expresso Martinis are top shelf and their salmon piccata and eggplant parmesan out of this world. My wife loves the Cesear salad with salmon and my kids love it all. I will not be ordering from here again they have very bad customer service when I was ordering my food they kept putting me on hold and when I got my shrimp scampi not only was the shrimps were cold. I love the "seasonal vegetables" in marinara sauce, I add it to every meal! They have their own drivers, so no middleman. Delivery is timely, food is warm. Six months out of New York City and I'm still looking for good pizza in Maryland. This was generic, little flavor, standard crust. We also got some pasta, and at one point one of the kids scooped up the sauce and said "Soupy!" Finally, mozzarella fritti is three overly breaded cheese sticks for $3 less than the main course pasta. Total ripoff. Further, it's a 10 minute drive from the house--when we opened everything immediately after getting home, it was all lukewarm. Yes, Saturday night and it was busy. I don't care--you're a popular restaurant. You shouldn't offer less than hot food because you have too many customers to handle. Sigh. I went to Maryland to visit family. Having been told how good this restaurant wash, I decided to try it out. It did not disappoint! The service was outstanding, surpassed only by the food. I tried the braised short ribs served over risotto. It was delicious and perfectly prepared! Since it also coincided with my birthday, my son made arrangements for me to have a sampling of different desserts they served. The gluten-free chocolate cake was out of this world. The cheesecake was velvety and perfectly made. I had no complaints about the tiramisu either! I enjoyed my meal so much that I opted to go back one more time before returning to NY. The veal parmigiana was on point, as was the basic fried calamari I chose for my appetizer. My only regret was that I did not take pictures of the perfectly plated meals. I see that there are currently three locations--Potomac and Bethesda, Maryland, and one in Reston, VA. I plan on trying the Reston location the next time I'm in that are for business. read more
