The service takes them 10 minutes, and instead of speaking to me or acknowledging that their glue isn't strong enough, Dr. Henley sent the receptionist in after almost an hour waiting to try to charge me again. My family and I are finding a new dentist who has respect for their clients time & money

Ok, I was hoping to be able to write a great 5-star review for this place. I have a huge fear of…read morethe dentist, so finding one that can really help me sounds like a dream. I was reading great reviews, and it was great. An appointment was made for a few weeks from now. I had called and told them that I can only see one of the dentists who is in my insurance and network. I had an issue with one of my teeth and called to see if I could get in any earlier. I came to find that the doctor I was scheduled with was not on the website anymore. I asked the person on the phone, and they were very confused about who I was talking to. I come to find that they just started. I understand that they are new, but as a business, would it be good to let them know that there were three doctors there and have left recently? Also, really, you can not call your patients and let them know that their doctor has moved to another location. I would have gone out there and then realized that and had to leave, and it's a long drive for me. It was not right not to inform them participants of a huge change like that, and on top I even have in my file that I can only see one as of my assurances. So I have found the doctor that I wanted to see and can now get in even earlier, so that is a plus, but really, please inform your customers before the day of the appointment of a huge change like that.

previously had good experiences at Spears Creek Dental, which is why this recent experience with…read moreDr. Cook was so disappointing. I had been seen at this office before and my previous dentist was aware of my dental fluorosis and concerns regarding the appearance and condition of my teeth. Unfortunately, since she has moved, my recent experience with Dr. Cook left me extremely anxious and uncertain. I went in regarding a tooth I had been told appeared chipped/exposed rather than obviously decayed. During the procedure, the atmosphere noticeably shifted and became very quiet, which immediately made me feel like something was wrong. Dr. Cook continued drilling, the tooth became significantly smaller, and I eventually had to ask if something was wrong before being told the tooth had "crumbled" and that I may now need a crown down the line. I was visibly upset afterward and asked to speak with the manager. Although she initially came to talk to me and walked me back to the room, she left before Dr. Cook came in to further explain the situation, despite how overwhelmed I clearly was. I also had another area smoothed down between two teeth after mentioning it felt rough, but since then that area has become sensitive and painful as well. I paid $517 for two fillings and left with more uncertainty, anxiety, and insecurity about my smile than confidence. At this point, I am mentally exhausted from the situation and honestly do not even feel comfortable returning for another follow-up. I understand unexpected things can happen in dentistry, but communication, reassurance, and patient trust matter just as much as the procedure itself. Sadly, this experience felt very different from the care I previously received at this office.

Fantastic! Excellent dental care. They spotted those cavities right away when other dentists said I…read moredidn't have them. Well, one dentist in San Antonio said I did need three fillings, but the VA and two other dentists said no. One became an infection and I had a root canal. But that former dentist still didn't pick up on the other cavities, and the first cleaning was cursory. So, I tried Spears Creek after I received a flyer from them. Once they identified the carries, they quickly made an appointment to fill the cavities and put a protection on the other teeth so they wouldn't get cavities. The hygienist thoroughly cleaned my teeth. I was so glad. The doctor and the staff are very competent. They don't miss anything, and they make you feel at ease. I would say this is the best dentist I've gone to in my whole entire life! And that's saying something! If you want a great dentist, go here. They know how to evaluate your dental health.
