I took my watch to this shop to be repaired,I called several times, but no answer. When he finally answered he was rude,and told me he call me when ready.Then after a month I started calling again, now no answer at all. Called three times a week, still no answer. Was traveling to Galveston and my watch died. Needed a battery so I called and they didn't seeM open. To my surprise the owner called back and waited for me to get there even though it was after their normal working hours. They fixed my watch at a reasonable price, that's what I call service I would not hesitate to have my watch/clocks repaired here. read more

AVOID this place AT ALL COST! I brought him two clocks that I bought in Switzerland to have cleaned. The Cuckoo Clock cost almost $1000. He charged me for fixing it but I got it home and it still will not work. He broke some gear or something and the chain will not even stay on. On top of that...he gave it back to me with a different, very cheesy looking pendulum on it. I went back in and told him it was the wrong one...and he just Ball faced lied to me over and over saying that WAS THE ONE I Brought in. I told him I would show him a picture ot my clock with the original one. I texted him a picture of it. He never returned my calls or text. I tried calling him over and over and nothing! This clock was very dear to me. It is ruined. The pendulum isn't even the right color. My clock is dark wood and the one he put on it was a blond wood, It looks horrible and cheap. He either put it on some one else's clock or broke it. The worst of it is that he is not man enough to own up to what he has done. He is a real creep! I have a feeling that he didn't even clean them. Avoid at all costs!!! He has had my clock for two years and will not answer the phone. All I want is my clock back. It has very special significance to me and my family. He's evasive, unreliable, and is never home and fails to show up to appointments. I just want my clock back!! Please just return a phone call or give us an update. I left my omega with this guy after it had spontaneously stopped ticking. It didn't seem like a battery issue, but George said he'd take a look. When I went to pick it up a few days later, he said he had cleaned the inside of the watch and that now it was working, and he charged me $100. A week later the watch stopped working again and now he doesn't answer the phone or immediately sends the call to voicemail. I don't think he's a bad guy, but I'm not sure if he really even did any work on my watch. Now after reading other negative reviews my experience seems to mirror several other peoples' experiences. George diagnosed problems of a wall clock and a small musical table clock, called me with the info and costs to make both clocks functional. He quickly completed the work and called me before the promised time to arrange pick up. When I arrived George carefully explained critical info about the clocks, helped me date them as they're over 100 years old, and helped me load the wall clock for transport home. He did not return any of my numerous phone calls and messages-- and I only did get to speak to him as he answered a call from my coworker.He said the clock was repaired and ready for pickup next week. However,he was IN the shop today, so my husband picked up the clock. And after 2 years, it has still not been repaired! ( some excuse about an injury in the last 2 weeks) read more

If you want the crystal on your watch buffed, then this is the guy. Do not under any circumstances leave your timepiece with this man. My Omega was keeping perfect time but the date wasn't working. Long story short it took 6 months and he dodged my calls constantly and when I did manage to catch him, which was about once a month he always said there was a new problem that he had never discovered before and had to order a new part. This guy is at best completely incompetent and at worst a pathological liar. Anyways I finally got it back even though he was requesting to keep it for another month and the time runs slow now. He kept it for 6 months and made it worse by working on something that he had no business touching. It was like dealing with a child. Avoid at all costs. This place used to be good when his father was alive and working there. I left two Rolex watches to be cleaned and oiled and it took approximately one month and got them back in worse shape than when I drop them off. He took my money but did not do the work. I bought my wife's watch back a few days later because it was impossible to wind even though he kept it for over 1 month. He would never answer the phone did not take any of my many calls until I call the police and a lawyer. I left a message on his recorder telling him to expect officer Lopez to be knocking at his door within the hour and I got a call from him within 3 minutes. Yes he is very nice guy to talk to but don't let him con you into taking your property, I was lucky I got mine back. If you just need a battery changed not a problem but anything beyond that forget it! My Rolex is now impossible to change the date or set the time and this was within one week after he serviced it. I told him about it when I went to pick up my wife's watch for the second time and he did not offer to make any repairs even though he said it had a 6 month warranty.
