I can't say enough how much I dont reccomend this shop. But if you must, hear me out. I went in to have a 6 pin lock master keyed with 1 of my keys. I paid 30 for it, left. And upon inspecting the box, I realized that the original keys were missing. So I went to return to the shop and let them know of the mistake, and upon arrival all was fine, until I mentioned I believe you kept my original keys and he frowned and said he did and gave them too me and left, I opened box and tried keys and noticed they didn't work. And I told him so, and he immediately got confrontational almost in anticipation of my query. Immediately and adamantly saying that's what you asked for, I told him, there must be a mistake I ordered for it to be master keyed to this key I have. And he would insist on arguing with me that I requested it to be rekeyed. And told me, I don't know the terminology because I'm not a locksmith. At no point was their even an attempt to bring up a solution. At one point he said something about their is no "him" only me. I got a bit confused there, but apparently once again, which gave me reason to believe maybe bad hearing or emotionally worked up and wasn't thinking logically but somehow he involved an imaginary 3rd party and tried to tell me that's what is said. I stopped and stood there to think for a moment and the man maybe in an attempt to antagonize me or maybe he felt threatened by me. Said, "were not gonna have a staring contest here, what do you want to do" I told him, im thinking. And then responded, I want the service I requested originally to be fulfilled. And he told me that is a seperate job (charge). And I stated, fine then I'll go elsewhere to get it done. And left, shortly after, almost immediately. I returned and asked. "Proffesionally and respectfully. May i Have your name? " And he replied I don't need to give you my name, at this point I'm going to call the cops because you've been disrespectful, you said you were going else where. I said at no point did I disrespect you, we had a difference in opinions and I choose to get work done else where at no point did I disrespect, have a good day friend. And I left. Because of my job, I'm required to go to locksmith regularly, and I have never have had such a bad experience before. I've been to this same location before and this is 1st time this man attended me. He is the problem. The customer service was horrendous, the man was extremely argumentive and emotional, im tempted to believe even scam service run on purpose or just genuinely ignorant and not willing to fix or even politely reason with me. I'm very agreeable, wouldn't have take much to have me pay twice if he had any social skills at all. The man claims to be the owner, has a black lab dog and a full black beard. If you absolutely have to go there, at the very least I reccomend don't do it when he is there. Very problematic individual, he has absolutely no emotional control. All other employees there have given me 10x better service then this guy. If the whole place can be avoided I definitely would. This is a man who will put his own weakness on you and make you pay for it. Be Warned. read more

Friendly gent helped me with making several copies of keys I needed. The keys made were far superior than what you would get at a department store or a builders supply store. Both keys made worked perfectly and were made out of a sturdy brass material which had less give than the steel ones you get at other stores. I recommend coming here when you need keys made, regardless of price I find its better to have a key that works and lasts a long time than an inexpensive one that bends and breaks in the lock. Greshams locksmith: This place literally wasted my time. I accidentally locked out of my car so I called them. The girl who answered was very nice and said she would send the info to the locksmith and that he would give me a call right away. 30 mins later and still no call from him. I called the service number that's posted on the google page again and said I wanted to follow up because I hadn't received a call. She said "oh I just got off the phone with him he's about to give you a call right now. 15 mins later pass by again and by this point I'm getting a little annoyed. I call AGAIN and a different girl answered. I told her what happened and she said she would put me on a brief hold. 5 mins passed and a new girl was put on the phone. I said "I've been put on hold... I was told A locksmith was going to give me a call. She replied by saying "let me put you on a brief hold". ARE YOU SERIOUS???? How many times does someone have to call to get an honest answer. It's literally been a whole hour since I was "supposedly" going to be given a call. Honestly I'm thankful I'm safe in a crowded parking lot because I COULD NEVER rely on such a business like this to help me out if I needed reliable assistance. I'm told "we can not copy your key" after calling to verify hours and driving over. My business has 65 sets of keys we manage. We normally go to Atlas Lock and Safe off LMK or 82nd Locksmith. Both are easy to work with. DND are worthless. Choosing to copy it if I have an account with you is worthless except you do the thing you "shouldn't" more often. Here's a good idea for keys, give them out to people you trust. For easy no issue copies or help, go to another shop without horse sh!t policies. read more

Locked my keys in the car along with my Husky when I got to Multnomah Falls, and called these guys in an absolute panic! They rushed out to the falls, and had my car unlocked within 30 min of my call! Their locksmith even called about every 5 minutes to update me on his drive progress and came with a bottle of water for the dog!!! FANTASTIC!!! read more

We had all of our locks rekeyed after we bought our house. Absolutely amazing service. Way above and beyond what we had expected. Not only did he rekey all the locks, but he installed them in the correct orientation (they weren't originally), lubricated the locks and even adjusted the doors so that the locks would work better.
