Both of them have been in the food truck industry for over 10 years. They previously had success with their other food truck: Waffle Box. Their delicious waffle creations even earned them a feature on the Rachael Ray Show. The Sanzes later had an idea to make a sister truck: one that made mini donuts. Their lightly crisped and airy donut creations feature delicious toppings such as Nutella, sprinkles or marshmallows. The Sanzes named the truck after their son Greyson and it can often be found at events (both public and private) and festivals in Westchester County (NY) as well as Fairfield County (CT). The Sanzes hope to have a brick & mortar location open in the near future. My family and I sampled some delicious donuts from Grey's Donuts this past autumn. We were at the Bronx Zoo for an evening Halloween-themed event. The zoo's regular concession stands were closed, but they did have a nice selection of food trucks present. When we saw Grey's Truck, we thought that some mini donuts with fancy toppings sounded pretty good. We decided to order and share "The Campfire" (mini marshmallows, graham crackers, chocolate glaze). The donuts themselves were pretty good, but the gooey chocolate and marshmallows made them so much more delicious. Those s'mores-inspired donuts really hit the spot! We hope to see Grey's Donuts at another event in the future!

As far as yeast donuts go these were amazing - soft with a bit of chew. Just traditional icing, but I normally go for glazed anyway. The coffee was also fresh and tasty. There's no seating so it's just a grab and go place. I stood outside while I drunk my coffee and there was a steady stream of customers. Next time I'll try their concha which looked good too.

An unassuming pocket of a shop in a Yonkers neighborhood, the friendly ladies at the counter are dishing out simple donuts that are fresh, delicious, and dirt cheap. I am not certain how they manage this, but a step through these doors is a step back in time, cost and service wise. I cannot recommend this bakery highly enough.

The prices were quite pricey, which each donut flavor having its own price, my box of minis with tax and tip were about 40 bucks! Although I can't complain because I got a box free. I also can tell my donuts were freshly made with quality ingredients and the flavors are true to its donuts name. Although my visit was really for the banana foster, my favorite turned out to be the cannoli. They nailed that donut true to its original interpretation of what a cannoli is but made into a donut. My daughters loved the flavors of their selections although the strawberry cheesecake was a bit sweeter than she expected and liked. A bit overwhelming is how she put it.
