Ordered a chorizo sausage "hero". Came on a club roll. Definitely not a hero/wedge bread. One piece of sausage , butterflied and cut in half. Dont get me wrong it was good but definitely not worth the price. More like an appetizer. The "ribeye" was more like the steak ums you'd get back in the day at school. I tried a platter consisting of ribs, pulled pork, sausage, potato salad, and macaroni and cheese. The ribs were smoky which my group and I enjoyed the most. Typically, pulled pork is generally too sweet but the pulled pork was well balanced. The potato salad was great also. The macaroni and cheese was subpar since it did not have much flavor. Very good St.Louis ribs fairly priced. Nice chopped brisket and pulled pork. Very nice service.

There's a cooler with warm drinks. The roll the sandwich was on was slightly stale. Food wasn't bad but I wouldn't say it was good. All in all 3 star. read more

Always drive by this place and never stopped. Boy I'm so glad I did. I got a platter with pork ribs, beef brisket, chorizo jalapeño sausage. Everything was so good. Stopped by today for a pulled pork sandwich and some Mac n cheese wi bacon. The guys are very friendly and their food super tasty, looking forward to coming back and sampling more of the menu. When the weather improves it will be nice to enjoy their food at the outdoor seating available. read more

Been passing this place for months when I go to central ave. Saw the smoker and I love bbq so I finally gave it a try. Not bad at all, way better then I expected. The ribs had a nice charcoal taste to them which I love. The price is great, got the combo platter, for $10 you can't beat it. Seriously, you get 3 big ribs, pulled pork and slaw. I didn't get the sausage, I guess he forgot, so I didn't get to try that. Honestly there was a ton of people and he seemed super flustered because of it, and the price is more than reasonable... This is a one man operation so make sure you have plenty of time on your hand as you'll be waiting. I have no problem with that but you also have to stay on top of things as your order might be forgotten. Guy working the truck is decent dude, overall. The rib rub is very good but though not quite fall off the bone tender. Pulled pork is satisfying. Would like to see a spicy BBQ sauce. Stopped by this food truck while running holiday errands...I got the ribeye cheese steak with peppers & onions....HOLY WOW! It was so delicious and chock full of flavor. The meat is perfectly seasoned and tender and Eddie (the owner) toasts the bread for that perfect little touch. Wow,Mickeys is now doing limited BBQ on certain days,I was lucky enough to get some of their smoked st louis ribs today and must say they were outstanding,quantities are very limited and brisket,chicken and pulled pork is also available on certain days,alittle confusing as to what will be available on what days,best bet is to call Eddie the owner and ask whats on the bbq schedule for the week as the websites info is subject to change at anytime,looking forward to the other bbq platters in the future.........UPDATE! The department of health needs to be called. Filthy is an understatement. I don't know where to start. My brother told me he vomits thinking of the day we ate here. I feel the same as does my husband. Let's start with the meat is kept in a cooler in the grass. Rats were running back and forth under the truck. The cooler with drinks was filthy smelled like mildew. There was hair in my steak sandwich and on the bread as well. We tossed the food n ran. Woke up an hour later, starving, looked up, and there was a food truck sitting directly in front of me...... Mickeys Oasis, like a real oasis in the desert. Great deal - $6 or so for an iced coffee and a egg sandwich. Food was good, nothing special, but a great place to go on the run for a quick bite or drink.
