This company is top notch. They have a lounge to wait in and you can drop off your rental car at their office to be picked up at n extra charge. It is easy and seamless. My husband and I were in Boise, Idaho on business and could not find a direct flight from Boise, Idaho to Idaho, Falls. Rather then driving five hours to Idaho Falls, I contacted four Private Charter companies in Boise, Idaho, all offering similar services on similar aircraft, and selected Turbo Air, Inc. because of their professionalism, experienced pilots, background in providing air charter services to the Boise Hospitals and Forest Service and their extremely reasonable rates. By far, Turbo Air are the best priced private boutique air charter service in Boise, Idaho. We flew on a twin engine turboprop beechcraft king air 200 (the best aircraft for short flights and the favoured aircraft for corporate business travel) that comfortably seats 4 adults but can seat eight, although with more people it would not be as comfortable. We selected the King 200 because of its twin engines and long history of reliability and safety. Our pilot was Scott Curtis, a very seasoned and experienced pilot with over 13,000 flight hours. He was amazing. Timmery, the company's front office coordinator and dispatch person is experienced, knowledgeable, and prompt and can assist you in selecting the right aircraft for your needs. She is great. We cannot recommend this company highly enough. Prior to flying on this private charter I had a fear of small aircraft. However, most accidents are the result of pilot error or bad judgement in flying in bad weather. Our plane was immaculate with soft comfortable leather cushions; and all of Turbo Air's pilots have to be highly skilled and meet high standards to fly for the hospitals and forestry service. The cost of our flight was reasonable and affordable when compared to the rates on most commercial airlines and rental car fees to take cars long distances. We had two flights on the private charter; from Boise, Idaho to Idaho Falls (1 hour); and from Idaho Falls to Portland, Oregon (2 hours); and we had a blast. It was worth every penny! This is an experience you must have! It was incredible.

You meet in the parking lot of the Red Lion Downtowner hotel. The woman at the front desk of the hotel cheerfully told us that the Trolley picks up at the front entrance. She was wrong, and I told a few people that drove up what the lady said. One, a man with a cane, then had to walk to the back of hotel after telling me that he was told to meet in the back. I told the driver, a nice ,older, white-haired man, and he made a comment but didn't seem too concerned. Then it started raining, and with the wind blowing, got pretty chilly. We brought jackets, but it was still cold. No one's fault. The driver has a laptop with a program that he plays, with narration that could have been AI generated, and photos. There are screens in front and midway in the seating area. The first part of the seating is covered on the sides with windows, the back part is open on the sides. There were flaps that could have been brought down to keep us warmer. I don't know why the driver didn't think of that. We sat in the very back, as the front was filling with seniors. Most of the tour was OK. There was commentary on historic buildings and parks, as well as 19th century homes. We stopped at the old Boise Train Depot, but it wasn't open today (only Sunday and Monday, I believe). We drove down Harrison Blvd, through Hyde Park, and past the Capitol building and Boise State University. When the tour was almost over, the driver seemed to be having trouble with his program. He pulled over to the side of the road and we all sat for at least 5, maybe 10 minutes, while he fiddled with his laptop. Finally, he gave up and everyone cheered. For the last 15 minutes, he narrated while we drove, which I'm told was good stuff, but his mic did not have enough volume for me to hear. So, I missed out on that. The tour ended up being about 2.5 hours, longer than I'd like on a chilly day. On top of the cost of the tickets, over $12 was added in "fees and taxes". For that kind of money, a witty, funny, and knowledgable guide should be doing the tour, entertaining the customers. I don't think that I would bring any more out of town guests on this tour.

I wanted a compact or econo car so I wouldn't have to pay for a lot of gas. However, they had literally no cars so I ended up with a BMW SUV. While some people might be excited by that, the gas mileage for this vehicle is terrible. Also, if I need to rent beyond what my insurance covers I'll have to pay a much higher rate than the vehicle I wanted, which is annoying. I booked a car in advance weeks ago so I would have assumed they would have had the option I asked for available, but they didn't. That said, the employees here are nice, the space is clean, and the car I got is spotless and looks lovely. They didn't give me many extra charges other than gas and didn't give me a hard sell on the random additional things they offer (like more insurance or satellite radio) which I appreciated.
