Pegasus was recommended to us by a local hotel (for wedding guest transport), and all of the Google reviews are glowing! However, right from the start, customer service seemed to be severely lacking. I requested a quote online on Monday (immediately received an automated email acknowledging my request and indicating that I would receive a response "very soon"). I waited until Wednesday - after not receiving any communication, I followed up via email (the email they have listed on their site). Waited until Friday. Still nothing. I called first thing in the morning on Friday, but apparently while their hours are 6am-5pm, their Sales Team does not start until 8am. No biggie. The lady on the phone took down my name and number and told me that someone would give me a call before 9am. (side note: I did not mention my 2 previous requests... simply approached it like a brand new inquiry) 11:30am rolled around - nothing. So I called again - this time I did mention that I had called in the morning and didn't receive a call back. I finally got through to someone on the Sales Team, and she gave me her email address (I believe this was her direct email address, as it is not the same as the one listed on their website) and told me what information she needs me to include in my email. I emailed her all of the information within minutes of hanging up the phone. I received a proposal about 3.5hrs later, reviewed it and found that it did not take into account the details I had provided. I replied to the quote within 20 minutes of receiving it, requesting a quote with the details I had already provided. Today is now Thursday of the following week, and I've not received any response or updated quote. I've decided to book with another transit provider. Update: it's now Tuesday of the next week and I've finally received an updated quote. 2025 Update: I received a phone call from Pegasus in the second week of March 2025 inquiring if I was still interested in their services. lol

The drivers, (we had several over the two weeks), were exceptional. Very patient and kind. Wonderful communication all around. The drivers called and introduced themselves before each trip. And the service from the office was second to none! It's a pleasure to work with everyone. They're always responsive, making sure everything is as it should be, and then some! Thanks for everything. With this service, she takes 3-4 extra large bags with her without any issue. She also loves it because the seats are VERY comfortable. More ample space than buses in LA. These buses comfortably fit 30 passengers each. Buses out of LA jam 50 people together. The route uses the 10 Freeway to Phoenix and then over to El Paso TX and into Mexico. It's a few dollars more than using buses out of LA but still Very affordable. Ask the owner Ernesto for assurance. He's very nice and he's bilingual.

If your luggage is in boxes thier policyi is to charge $1.50/ lbs, which I considered this absurd. Before you cross the border in Ciudad Juarez the bus driver imposes to every passenger a fee of $30.00/ passenger to avoid checking our luggage.

If you have the Amtrak App on your mobile device, you can check if the train is on time or delayed. It may or may not notify you of any delays longer than several minutes. You can easily purchase train tickets via App & use the App to have your ticket scanned. On a side note: Yes, you can still get paper tickets printed out, inside the station. There's someone behind the counter that can assist you with tickets. Or you can use the kiosk. Amtrak is a great alternative especially nowadays with gas prices. Had a few trips back & forth to Santa Barbara which was nice. Don't forget to grab a treat or a drink at Dolce Vita which is located inside the station.

You are not allowed to bring your own liquor, you will be kicked off the train. They said that multiple times. Next summer , I'll get the multi ride package as I find myself in SB a lot in the summer. It's a nice little change of scenery. I always ride during the day and have felt safe. On the wedding day, the drivers were friendly, upbeat, and so accommodating. They let us play whatever music we wanted and made sure all of our guests felt comfortable. We waited until the anticipated time and watched a Silverwing bus drive right by us. We call them and they said if we hurried we could catch the bus at the next terminal! I'm 76, my wife is 72, and we had our luggage. My wife did manage to get to the next terminal. The driver's excuse was "it just slipped my mind." Just about the worst customer service we have ever had. I would not recommend Silverwing to anyone.
