Nasty OLD ASS BUS! Nasty DRIVER!
    Crystal E.

I wish there was an icon or an indication on YELP where a venue can receive NO STARS! Greyhound has been around for decades and should understand how business works. It seems as though they are truly not in the business of customer service, but in business just for revenue and profits! The station is titled the Wilmington Transportation Center, but it is a one room holding cell! It's dark, gloomy and dirty as hell! The staff is dry and without personality, and the bus driver was sloppy, abrasive and non-caring. We were on a bus that leaked water in the cabin! He told the he passenger to love to another seat! WTH? Bus driver gets on the speaker and tells everyone that he has a 12 speed clutch, but it's not working properly, so he has to break hard and often! Why is Greyhound using this damn bus? Amtrak is across the street! Pay the extra money and board the Amtrak! This Greyhound is not worth the nasty buses, did drivers or waiting area.

    It smells like urine.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Everything about this service, stations, and buses is terrible and disgusting. Our bus is an hour late. I say "is" because we're still waiting for the 10:30am bus. It's 11am now. I had a 1:30pm appointment to make in D.C. Staff is rude for no reason. Can't provide any info about the buses. Amtrak is worth the extra money. Never riding greyhound again. They have so many bad reviews, they clearly don't care. Stop buying here -put em out of business. Go to the Chinese buses instead.

It's the second time my bus is delayed 2 hours, it's unacceptable.

Terrible. The bathroom reeked from 6 aisles away on outbound bus, on the return bus was more than two hours late departing. Wretched.

I have passed through this station many times but never boarded here until this day. I had a few bags and luggage. The station is not small but ut definitely does not compare to the size of 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. There are several entrances around the perimeter of the station. Luckily I found one that has a ramp as many of the doors have a set of steps to go up and down. The station is very bright with a lot of light coming from an atrium ceiling. There are several staircases and escalators that lead upstairs to the tracks. Announcements are made frequently and loudly. I requested the help of a Red Cap. He was very accommodating to me as I also had a handicap ticket. He took my luggage to the baggage counter and had them checked. The attendant also assisted me when it was time to the tracks via the elevator and directly to my train car. I would gladly use this location any time again in the future.

The station is on the smaller side and very easy to navigate. They make ample announcements for incoming trains. The area around the station is pretty busy.

I am always so happy to see historical buildings saved, especially when it comes to trains. The demolition of NYC's Penn Station for Madison Square Garden is a travesty that hurts my heart so I appreciate that this station, which was once a station for the Pennsylvania Railroad, is still in tact. However, the station is showing some wear and tear and would benefit from a facelift. With Philly hosting FIFA World Class Soccer, the MLB All Star games and other events for America's 250th, I thought maybe there would be some renovations to the station. Unfortunately, the food court is closed so the only options for food and drinks are Dunkin Donuts and a newspaper stand. There is an ongoing renovation but I can't tell exactly what has been done. i will say, it was nice to see the station from about a block away - the exterior is lovely. The trains all board under the station so it's convenient that you don't have to walk too far to get on your train like you would at a stub-end station. For those needing assistance, Amtrak offers a "Red Cap" service. Getting down the escalators and down the platform can be a bit of survival of the fittest so asking for help will get you escorted down the elevator to your train car without battling the masses. Red Cap will also take care of your bags. The waiting room is large as are the bathrooms. They also have some nice exhibits about the station and its artwork. I'm looking forward to returning to see how the renovations turned out. I am hoping that the food court will reopen and maybe even offer some local eateries.

It was so late that we almost completely missed the welcome party that was planned for our group. The bus that finally arrived was a 20-year-old beater. The transmission was bad, the alignment and suspension were shot, and the bathroom door did not latch. The suspension was so severely degraded that it audibly bottomed out on road bumps, causing motion sickness among multiple passengers. The transmission could not maintain speed on inclines, making the journey slow and stressful for everyone on board. The windshield wipers were so worn they could barely clear rain from the windshield (a serious safety hazard). Overhead storage bins would not latch, risking items falling on passengers, and the lighting inside most of them did not work. The spare tires were stored in a luggage compartment and had dangerously little tread remaining. We paid for what we were promised would be a newer luxury coach with ample luggage space and modern amenities. Instead, we got an old bus with no electrical outlets, damaged seat upholstery, and a bathroom that reeked before a single passenger had even used it. They sent us a vehicle that should not be in passenger service. When we sought a refund, we were bounced between the broker, Rally/OurBus and All Aboard Express, and now neither company will return our calls. Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere!

We had a group of kids going down to Florida from Philadelphia that was supposed to have a pick up time of 7:00am the bus company did not show up until 10:00am and never reached out to communicate anything that's the first red flag . The second red flag was the bus kept breaking down and the bus driver had to keep getting out and fixing whatever went wrong, it was a mess . The 3 red flag is when our bus broke down on the way home and we ( 50 ppl in total) had to wait in a extremely hot parking lot in South Carolina for 4 hrs . A mechanic finally showed up to "FIX" the problem with the belt , well the same belt in question popped again about 1/2 later, when it started raining outside, it started raining inside that was the 4th red flag for me . On the way The bus driver set up for another bus to come pick us up in Virginia , which meant we had to transfer all our luggage from one bus up the next. A trip that was supposed to take us 14 hours to get home took Us 21hrs ! RUN DONT WALK ! PLEASE DONT EVER BOOK THIS BIS COMPANY
