They definitely have a better selection compared to the place down the road which had only a Charlie Brown selection and this place appears to be planting replacements. Some of the largest trees were a bit bare on top but we found a good one despite it being much smaller than the 14 footer we had from the past couple of years. The staff was very nice and I was able to get a tree garbage bag to put over the tree to minimize the fall out spreading across the house when we toss it. As it turned out, the experience could not have been more positive! It's a beautiful and well-maintained property with ample parking. The alpaca stables (males in one, females in the other) were very clean, and the 26 alpacas are clearly loved and cared for. They were gorgeous, friendly, and healthy. The staff, mostly (if not all) volunteers, were lovely, from the young adult (late teens, early 20s) guides who accompanied us on the 20-minute walk with our assigned alpacas, to the senior ladies working in the gift shop. The gift shop has a wide range of lavender and alpaca wool products, as well as related themed products. I would up spending $36 on a variety of items, some of which were perfect, low-cost gifts. In response to the TripAdvisor complaints about items being "expensive," I found the prices to be reasonable and normal for homemade, hand-made, and locally sourced items, as well as for specialty items made elsewhere. I can't say enough positive things about the guides who accompanied my friend and I on the walk, and the young man who gave the entire group on our scheduled walk the preliminary background information about the alpacas and what we might expect on the walk. They did an excellent job and were very friendly and helpful. At the end of the walk they make time for pictures to be taken, and the animals seem to know the drill quite well because they obliged without a fuss on a very hot day. Overall I give this experience a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it for all ages.

This was my first experience getting a real Christmas tree and I was super excited and ready to chop down my own tree and haul it back home. That would have been $65. We drove an hour to get there. But when I got there, I was a bit disappointed with their selection on the actual farm. They were all like 4 feet tall and very rounded out on the bottom. They had cut down all the nice looking trees and put them out for sale for $90. We walked around and decided to just buy the nice looking one that was pre-cut for $90. The tree was 8 feet tall Frazier fir and they were able to trim it down to around 7 for me. The staff wrapped it all up and placed it in my car and helped my friend tie hers to the rack of her car. Staff were all super nice and helpful with the tree. They sell tree stands but I would highly recommend investing in the Genie Christmas tree stand that you can buy online so you don't have to worry about screwing the tree in properly. Otherwise they were selling tree stands for $40/45 I think. Bring cash! I would have given 4 stars if I found nicer looking trees on the actual farm. There was so much for the kids to get excited about -- train displays, igloos to run into, visits with santa, trucks to climb on, gift shops, hot cider donuts and hot cocoa. I could go on and on. My daughters (3.5 and 1.5) had a blast and I'd say this is really age appropriate for any kid. Just a few of the logistics -- parking is plentiful and someone is there directing cars. Once you arrive you'll be on the side with the Christmas trees and farm store. You'll take a tractor out to the lights display across the field. There are ample porta potties on both sides. The holiday village sells some treats but it's sweets only and no savory. Tickets sell out so I definitely recommend planning ahead. All in all this is absolutely worth a visit around the holidays. We'll probably make it a yearly thing.

When you arrive, there's a hay ride that takes you to the festival from the parking lot! Very kid friendly and lots of photo opportunities. My favorite part was the corn maze and the pumpkin patch. There are a few things that aren't included in the price. I saw a pumpkin cannon launcher that was extra and it was pretty cool to watch! The food isn't amazing and a bit pricey but it's to be expected really at something like this! They had BBQ, lemonade stand, funnel cakes, Playa Bowls and one of the food trucks had seafood. Over all a good experience to visit once a year with larger group on nice fall day, support your local farms and farmers!

Bring cash, they are cash only. $20 per person to get into the fall festival, there's usually a line because everyone wants to go, and if you forgot cash there is an ATM but the line for thr ATM seems even longer than the entrance line. Bring more than you think, it can get expensive, pumpkins are sold per pound. 2. Bring an extra bag. They do not allow large bags or coolers, however, there are food trucks, and if you'd like to purchase extra to bring home, the trucks do not have bags. It was difficult to walk around with several funnel cakes, drinks, candy apples, fried oreos etc without dropping anything. An extra bag would have been helpful. 3. Dress in layers. It gets cool quickly in the evening but during the day if it's sunny, it could feel comfortable or hot.

Played bury the hatchet, checked out the chickens, the rooster said hi, pretty loudly, twice. There are also many other farm animals. All the activities are very nicely and thoughtfully spaced.
