I visited this establishment for evening rations after church on Sunday. My experience was... complicated. I ordered the burger and fries. I was going to order Pepsi as that was listed on the menu but was told that Coke was available instead. Not good so I decided to settle for "wooder" to drink. I am dinging this establishment one point due to not having an item listed on the menu. Either have Pepsi available or else update your menus please. The cheeseburger and the fries were quite good. I asked that there be no pickles, onions, lettuce and tomatoes and that request was honoured... good. I did ask for ketchup and mustard on the side and that was eventually brought though I had to ask for mustard a second time. A side of Mayonnaise that I did not ask for was also brought and when I got the bill I noticed that this establishment wanted to charge me 50 cents for the side I did not ask for. I made an issue of it and was refunded the 50 cents in the form of two quarters. Men's washroom was clean and paper towels were available... good. After I paid and left the establishment I noticed a discrepancy between the menu price of 14$ for the burger and the price I was charged which was 15$. I am dinging this establishment one point for that discrepancy. I have a bone to pick with the personal appearance of the employees at this establishment. I noticed that at least three guys working at this establishment failed to tuck their shirts in. I consider that to be very unprofessional. I am dinging this establishment one point for not requiring the employees to tuck their shirts in. On a more positive note, I thought the service was very good in that an employee checked up on me frequently and kept my "wooder" topped up. So I am adding a point back for the superior service. If I was to assign a letter grade as is done in school this establishment would be in there solid with a C. read more

Average food a little on the pricey side for bar food. But overall it's a fun place. Doesn't feel too crowded and the trivia night is fun. We hope to go back again. From the outside it is almost lost as the strip center is rather bland parking is easy. Inside the restaurant is much larger than it appears outside with a long bar along one wall and rounded booths agents the opposite. We arrived to a very large party . We were seated and our order was placed the menu is lengthy. I opted for the fish and chips . We ordered drinks which were excellent. My fish was perfectly prepared with a generous side of fries. No frills local place. The bar seats leather was missing from many of the seats. The food was OK, the burger came with plenty of fries.

The owners are amazing always making everyone feel welcome. The staff is so friendly and the food is really really good! It's the best place to watch all sports with big screen TVs everywhere no matter where you sit you can see it on a BIG Screen TV. They have live bands every Friday & Saturdays! The food at Griffin's Sports Bar is honestly great , we've been coming here for over 8 years. No complaints there. Everything came out hot and tasted really great. "Hate to be that person" as she told us but Unfortunately, our server Angeline completely ruined the experience. She was inattentive the entire time. We waited so long for drinks that we had to ask another server to find her for us. She never checked on our table and made us feel like we were bothering her. The biggest issue was when we brought out small birthday cakes for my cousins , She told us there was a strict "no outside food" policy and wouldn't allow it. What's frustrating is that we've personally brought cakes there before and have seen other tables do the same. The inconsistency was disappointing. Dino, Great food, but her service needs serious improvement. As for Angeline, if you don't enjoy serving or taking care of guests, this may not be the right industry for you. read more

I started coming to Griffin's recently to watch Dodger playoff games, and it's quickly become one of my favorite local spot. It actually looks way nicer inside than you'd expect from the outside, don't let it fool you! Griffins is family and kid friendly. Dino, the owner, is super welcoming and always makes you feel right at home. The servers are really attentive and check in often. I've brought friends here, and they've even joked asking if I'm friends with the staff because our service was that good, lol. This place has THE BEST wings!!!! I was never even into wings until I tried one here off a friends plate one night. Omg it blew my mind!! They're CRISPY!! The texture is flawless!! If you don't like wings, it's because everywhere else makes them soft and slimy. I've tried a dozen other places looking for wings like Griffins has and still haven't found any. I think they bake them first, then fry them. Result is this wonderful crisp texture, fantastic buffalo flavor, and just a 10/10 experience. I'm now an official wing guy, I'll pound like 20 wings in a sitting at griffins on a Saturday night. They have TV's everywhere with all the sports playing on them. I'm not a sports guy, I usually come for the music and the excellent wings, but man I couldn't imagine a better place to have some beer and some wings and watch a jiu jitsu match or a baseball game if that's what you're into. I ordered a Margarita and a double lettuce wrapped burger with a side of chili. The margarita was average, but good. The double burger was HUGE lol. Principles matter! I reserved the back room for an NJB end of season pizza party. Called in advance and was told a $50 DEPOSIT was required to hold it. Okay fine, no big deal, because almost all people know that a deposit is just that and can be used toward the bill or given back. Here we are day of, and a few hours before we were to have the room, was advised the coach is sick and can't make - hence no awards given out or gift given to coach - so I called to see if I could cancel and was told that I would not be given my $50 back since I didn't cancel 24hours in advance and they had to call someone in for this - again a DEPOSIT. So I say, okay, keep the hold we will still go and just enjoy some pizza with the team. Welp, we get there, order $330 worth of food/drinks and I asked about why the $50 is not deducted from the bill and was told that it was a fee. Like, excuse me? Cole, our very attentive and kind server apologized that I was not told this. This is not okay! This is not how business should be conducted. To not be transparent with the customer is completely unprofessional and out of line. Will not return here. Teams - beware! Owners - Please do better. Dino - Not trying to go back and forth and I appreciate your prompt response, however, just so you are aware, I was never told this was a $50 fee, nor did I sign something regarding your "policy". In addition, I had to request the AC be turned on and that happened about 45 minutes to an hour after our arrival. See photos cuz it was HUGE, as most wet burritos are. 4/5 I had Fried zucchini, which was house-made. Not the frozen version with panko. They were GREAT! Super crispy, not dripping in oil, so they were cooked at the proper temp. Ranch dressing on the side. Also had, & the real reason we went, were their awesome wings. One dozen lemon pepper wings crispy fried, just the right amount of seasoning. Just perfect. Personally, I don't care to deep fry at home. Grew up around here. I don't know how I missed this place. Was surprised how big it was considering how small it looks like from the out side. Pros: food was decently priced & good portions. Food was also pretty decent Waitress but busy with an almost full house but was prompt when we did need something. I had my kids with me and the staff adapted to them which was really cool. Cons: the booths all have this odd step which make it impossible to put a high chair and impossible not to trip. Also our booths had rips all in the cushions and foam missing.
