Hubby and I stopped here on our way home from the Rufus Du Sol show, hoping to sing a little something before bedtime. Alas, the KJ did not seem to care about new singers. On the banner it had Singer 1, Singer 2, then the Singer 3 slot said 'Sign up for karaoke', whilst hubby and I had already signed up & our names were not mentioned. Visited this place on two occasions. The first was a Saturday night. The KJ was very helpful and talented. He sang songs that catered to the crowd that was there. The patrons were kind and the drinks were reasonably priced. I decided that I wanted to spend my birthday here. The second occasion was my birthday. It was a Friday night. I brought in my own birthday cake and plates/utensils without a problem. The bartender provided a complimentary bottle of Cooks sparkling wine. The crowd was kind and well-behaved with the exception of a pair of people. The bartender took care of it right away, and they were escorted out. My birthday was a blast, and my friends even got the smoke effect while singing on stage. read more

I love this place! Even though it's 20 minutes away, I have become something of a regular. The bartenders and the KJ's are so cool. And the crowd is warm and inviting. there is no food at the bar, but you can bring your own. You can even have food delivered there! And, there is a 7-Eleven on the other side of the same building. So, after a night of drinking, you can go get something bad for you to eat. Lol. read more

Went when they were hosting 2 birthday parties. It was packed but the music/karaoke was fun. People and staff are friendly.

I do love that this place does give you a nice space to sing to your hearts desire. However, if you go on a Saturday you will probably get to only sing one song due to the usuals who invade the list so quickly. The bartenders as usually nice, I just can't stand when they do not let me bring my hydroflask with my own iced cold water that is filtered. I don't trust the water there really and I won't buy water in a plastic bottle. So I will say other than this annoying aspect. Everything else is alright. The music can be to loud somethings on a nice afternoon tho and maybe it's so you can hear yourself think but yea. If you are in the area get yourself a cute small pitcher off something off the draft. On that note they usually don't refill some of my faves on draft often. So I do have to pick something less appetizing. Try it out. Give it a shot. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion right?!? read more

Tomkat Lounge is a hidden gem! Good local bars around here are hard to find. We came here on a Tuesday night so it wasn't too busy, which I like because I can actually talk without yelling and losing my voice lol. We sat at the bar and I love the way the back wall is lit up! The drinks were good. The bartender Trey was super friendly and always made us another drink before our glasses were empty! I also met the other bartender Nikki? Who was so sweet and funny. They have tons of beers on tap and a pretty good happy hour. They have karaoke every night here and they also have a pool table. The bathroom was actually so nice and clean too!! read more

I used to be a regular and drive down from the inland empire to hang with friends and never had issues. The new manager is awesome and the other male bartender makes good drinks as well. For some reason the new bartender Vanessa nit picks who can bring stuff in. I love supporting the vendor that sells food outside and for her to just toss my food out on the table without even asking, was disrespectful. I spent $30 on my food, and when asked a question she acts like if we're twisting her arm. Customer service is terrible, and sadly I don't even want to go back. Experience was very nice. The entrance is not obvious, but I think that's part of the appeal. The waitress and bartender were excellent. The establishment is lucky to have those two work for them. Saturday night went really quickly and everyone seemed to have a great time. The karaoke was extremely entertaining. Overall it's a very cool establishment with very good prices. I used to karaoke here often pre pandemic and they would let me sing songs I brought in myself, which includes more rare and hard to find songs. Now they do not allow that and I am likely not coming here much due to that. If they subscribed to KaraFun they would have these same rarely found tracks and have an extensive library of the standard karaoke songs that every company produces. The subscription also allows you to turn on a singer in a duet if you don't have a duet partner to sing with you. A karaoke bar for every night of the week should step up their game and subscribe to KaraFun. I don't like providing free promotion but I do buy their songs (Karaoke Version) and now wish I would have just subscribed. I would have saved a lot of money. The pro subscription is only $49 a month and they would probably make that amount from me alone. I also enjoy billiards. The business reopened a month ago and they clearly refelted the table but didn't bother to spend the extra money to level it. read more

I was weary of going here at first because I thought it was going to be super divey, but it wasn't and I was pleasantly surprised. We came here on Saturday for Karaoke and actually ended up having a pretty good time. We got there at 8:30pm which was right before the karaoke started. We got seats at a table and were brought the drinks we ordered. Our bartender checked on us multiple times throughout the night, too. The song selection for karaoke is pretty good, and there are some rather funny people singing. It's not my favorite place, but I would likely go back sometime. read more
