I have been going here for 2 years now. I have NEVER had a bad experience. Yes the wait times are long. That's not the workers' faults. There are only so many stations, and too many people coming to make money. We are talking about people putting needles in my arm. I would much rather they take their time, and don't hurt me. Than rush. Everytime I have been, the workers never stop moving. They don't hurt me, and they make sure everyone is okay. If the procedure does start to cause problems for a donor, then they make you feel safe, and as comfortable as they can. If people don't like the place, then they can stay home and make it easier on me to make extra income. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! FIND A BETTER CENTER! THIS PLACE IS UNSAFE. DO NOT RISK YOUR HEALTH TRYING TO DO A GOOD DEED. I have donated here several times and I have had more bad experiences than good. I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and returned to give multiple chances because I genuinely want to donate plasma since I am intimately aware of how important these donations are. However, I can no longer ignore my experiences and in good conscience I cannot recommend ANYONE donate at this facility. They need to completely reform their training process. PLEASE NOTE, I have tried to express my concerns to the center on THREE separate occasions. Each time I get a phone call from the center manager with an apology, asking for another chance, but nothing changes. Where do I start with my bad experiences? There have been times where they don't check to see if you've stopped bleeding and send you on your way. I have gotten in my car and noticed I am bleeding all over my car and clothes. On nearly every visit, a poorly trained phlebotomist blows my vein and I end up with massive bruises. I have great veins in one of my arms, but every time they blow that one and it bruises, so they have to use my other arm which isn't as good and they stick the vein countless times, leaving me with bruises and swelling. On my most recent visit, they readjusted the needle over 10 times and still missed it, causing a bruise to form that now extends all the way down my elbow! I have severe shooting pain in my arm and it's been over a week, so I'm sure they managed to damage a nerve while they were at it. I have learned that they do not require training for their "phlebotomists" and provide "on the job" training. WHAT??? These people are sticking huge needles in your arm, you'd think they'd at least require proper training. Not to mention, the absolute LACK of sanitary measures when doing the IV line. The person will "clean" the area with the iodine prep and then touch the vein again with the same gloved hands that they are using to touch all the equipment, rendering that area no longer sterile and easily a source of infection. I witnessed someone putting on MORE gloves ON TOP of their old gloves between patients instead of removing their gloves and sanitizing their hands between every patient. Then using those same hands to touch the needle in my arm to adjust it after several techs missed the vein. THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE. Aside from the highly concerning safety issues and lack of proper training, the staff here is extremely unprofessional. The ladies at the front are constantly gossiping and laughing while the waiting room is full, and then rude to the patients during their assessment. The staff in the back is equally as unprofessional, stomping around and slamming things because they are always short staffed and everyone is always with an attitude. I have felt uncomfortable on multiple occasions due to the aggression and behavior of their phlebotomist who apparently never gets a lunch break. I've mentioned this to the management and they responded by saying they'll encourage him to take a vacation. Not to mention the catty fights and arguments between the staff which is loud and available for all to witness. How can I feel comfortable in a facility where there are cat fights and name calling instead of noticing that my machine has been beeping for 5 minutes?? The list goes on and on. To spare you the time and headache, I will conclude by saying it is NOT worth the money and it is NOT worth the risk to donate here. There are plenty of other safer facilities out there to donate. I am making this recommendation with over 10 years of medical experience, because I have seen firsthand how things like this can easily become catastrophic. read more

Been to this location SEVERAL times. Staff is not trained correctly, and too often do I go in to donate and wait times are ridiculous, or when I do FINALLY get back there they miss my vein, roll it, and then miss again. First visit: Clean facility, comfortable environment, educated staff. Everyone I interacted with was polite, professional, and personable. Sign up was easy, I had to get a waiver signed for my recent tattoo, but was barely an inconvenience. Exam and donation process was smooth. I got a little dizzy towards the end of the blood draw, but nurses were ready to assist and were able to help me get to the end of the process. read more

This center needs to focus less on marketing and more on training the staff. Know before go: I asked one of the staff working there what kinda of training or certification is required to work there.. her words were "None, just fill out an application online and, if hired, everything is on the job the training." Which makes sense when you consider the multiple complaints and poor reviews regarding your blown veins. I recently donated here and sure enough, blown vein in my arm. Then when I returned to make another donation i was unable to due to the blown vein. How many potential donations is this place missing out on due to donors being being turned away because the staff is untrained and would rather act like they're in a social club? How many more lives could your plasma save if the staff actually knew how to properly stick you with a needle? Ask yourself these questions before choosing to donate with this facility. read more

The screening process for return donors is ridiculous. They are very unprofessional and they play and talk about stuff not pertaining to there job.. like trying to pronounce someones name.. I dont understand the screeners need to be monitored and kept on track not what they are supposed to be doing.. read more

Try a different place. The staff is ok I guess, but they will make you sit there and wait 3 hours just to defer you for a stupid reason (such as having a 5 year old piercing that is closed up). They have wasted my entire day today. I don't recommend this place to anybody. read more

If the techs got any slower we would have to put a spoon under their noses to see if they are still breathing. One of the slowest donation centers I've ever been to , they defer you for reasons that are simply mind boggling , oh you've had that tattoo 6 years you'll need to come back in 2 weeks. Current wait times is almost 3 hours , unless you're dying of starvation don't come here. read more
