This was the first time I ever got an oil change at the Walmart Auto Care Center. I used their…read moreFoothills location, and the Auto Center is behind (almost hidden behind) the main store. I had an appointment and the oil change took just over an hour. My main complaint is that it took another 20 minutes for them to get my paperwork ready. They texted me that the car was ready, I could see my car in the parking lot, and I thought I could see my key on some paperwork on their counter. But apparently they had placed my key on someone else's paperwork, and told me my car was not ready. I explained the above to them -- they finally figured it out, and the mechanic went back into the garage and found my paperwork. I think they were embarrassed but they offered no apology or amends. A second complaint is that the waiting area is very small -- just two metal benches by the tire section, so you breathe in tire-rubber fumes while you wait. A third complaint is that some customers use the Auto Center to check out with their purchases, and so there is often a line -- the Auto Center clerk is also a cashier for other purchases. Some customers use the Auto Center parking lot and enter Walmart through those back doors -- I guess to avoid the congestion of the main parking lot. The best way to manage it is to make an appointment on their website, and plan to do some shopping while you are there. You can access the main store from inside the waiting area. They are open 7 days per week which is a real advantage if you are a working person. Even though I gave them only 3 stars, I will consider using them again. They got the job done, and I have to shop at Walmart anyway.

The next morning we noticed oil stain on our driveway. At this time we were unable to crawl under the vehicle due to medical issues so had to wait for assistance. Once someone was able to crawl underneath they noticed there was oil coming from the drain plug. We took it down to the shop on Feb 24th around 2pm and spoke with Jose Limen and Angel Nunez. Not sure who was the manager at the time. They had me pull into the the bay area and the manager stated "Bro this aint us. The transmission gasket blew. I wiped it off to show you" He proceeded to show us pictures which we knew was not correct. They would not help us and took no responsibility. We took it to another neighborhood service station and they wrote on their report "No gasket found around the drain plug" . I had to pay for their labor and more oil. Had grease monkey looked at the drain plug instead of just blaming it on something else, we would not be at this point. We will be contacting corporate to complain as well. If nothing comes of this so be it, but I feel better knowing I at least let others know to double check their work.

I have gone to Big Tires at this location 3 times now for 3 different problems. Each time I was treated very well. Each time their expertise lead straight to the problem within 10 minutes!!! Unbelievable. Last night when starting my car -I heard a noise and it ran rough. I drove to the nearest mechanics-won't mention names. They looked and said "oh it could be many things" they were open until 8pm and didn't even bother with me!! So....I rambled down the road. I knew if I made it in time the employees at Foothills Big O Tires would help me! And they sure did!!! Even tho I arrived at 5:45pm they rushed right over to help. I want them to know...AND they need to know how very grateful I am. They deserve an EXCELLENT review. Sorry I didn't catch the girl's name that helped me in the office-but she came right out and explained to the mechanic Butch what my problem was and they both started researching the problem. Then the Manager Ian came out and Butch and Ian did their best to help me. I will send everyone I know to this place when they have car problems.

They said we should have received an email and a call from an associate. Yes, we received an email (when we looked a while later after arriving here) but who checks emails all the time especially when you are getting out the door to get here and (2), no, we did not get a follow-up call from an associate. They totally dropped the ball by (1) not having their online calendar up to date and (2) having an associate not doing his job by callinus. When we walked in to check in he was helping someone else and just said oh ya, I meant to call you on that. Did he say sorry about that... . Luckily the gentleman helping us did better and was able to get us in approx15-20 mins later to get our work done. So, we appreciate you that. It's just not the same place like it used to be. Is this place under new management or ownership? It seems like it but not sure as the customer service is definitely not what it used to be. Just disappointed all in all but glad the gentleman helping us was able to do better than the other guy. And, yes, this service was covered under our original tire purchase. So, a good value for $0 dollars.

After taking my car for a diagnostic at the Kia dealership, I took my car to get the cv axle…read morereplaced which was exactly what was stated that I needed to get fixed, I took it to Sebastian mobile auto repair for it to come out worse than it was before. My car is wobbling and feeling like the bolts are about to come off, they used the cheapest Duralast after market cv axle they could get , which I don't even believe they put a new part on my car. I went it with a problem and came out with an even worse problem. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. They told me there was nothing they could do as I was the one who requested the part. I asked if they detected anything else wrong with the car they said no that it was in fact the cv axle. I believe they did a hack job, and it had never even been fixed. BAD BUSINESS DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE !!!!
