i'm interested in the entire experience - food taste, quality and uniqueness, service, and value. i went to the food truck because it happened to be parked at my workplace. i had a chicago wrap. the food was tasty though the sauce was a little too sweet. the service was friendly, but a little on the slow side. there was little value. like i said, i had the chicago wrap which was bigger than a taco but smaller than a taco bell burrito. the wrap was 8$. after i ate the wrap, i had to get a second lunch at my workplace's cafe because i was still. so. hungry. usually, i get a sandwich at my works cafe for under 6$ and i'm set for the day. on this day, i ate two lunches (one a grill chasers and one at the cafe) which eneded up being 14$. if you happen to see the truck, try it out. but go in knowing that you'll need to spend some money. otherwise, it's not worth intentionally seeking out. read more

I've eaten at a lot of food trucks and this one is very middle of the road. They didn't do anything wrong. Their service was decently fast for the line and the people in the truck were pleasant but the food didn't wow me at all. I had a wrap but it wasn't anything that stood out as something that I couldn't have at any other truck. I also had a side order of fries but they we're just normal frozen fries with regular ketchup. Food truck game has stepped up the food a notch and I expect something a bit different from my trucks now. read more

We just had Grill Chasers out to our office for a social event for our employees. We have had several food trucks out to our location and the employees raved about this one more than any of the others. Someone needs to call the Food Network because it's time for Jami and Gary, the hilarious and cool owners of awesome Grill Chasers, to have their own show! Our family and friends are obsessed with their deeply delicious food. We first tasted their killer roti pancake marinated chicken, organic kale cabbage coleslaw creation over the summer and we were hooked. So much so that I stalked them and made them come to our home for our son's Bar Mitzvah celebration dinner for 60 folks. It was beyond wonderful. Relatives from Atlanta to New York are still talking about the food and the whole groovy energy of their food truck. Their mac and cheese will bring you to your knees and their fries and homemade sauces were so good that I saw even the skinniest crazy chicks going back for thirds! It was just so easy to work with Jami and Gary. They were so accommodating and gracious! Their vegetarian dishes were just luscious, and they were extremely adept at keeping all costs reasonable. Truly, Grill Chasers walks the walk for what a food truck should be. They are THE package and I recommend them every chance I get! read more

We used Grill Chasers for a property open house event and they were wonderful. Jami was great in helping me get the event set up. She asked me what I was looking to do and then took care of everything. I am always super nervous that I will run out of food, but with Grill Chasers there is no chance of that happening. There was plenty of food to go around and I heard nothing bad about the food. Everyone had great things to say and quite a few people even asked for Jami's information to book an event. The Roti prata bread was different but so very good. Everything was very fresh (they came early to the event to cook the food). The chicken was tender and juicy, not dry at all. The mac and cheese was very good as were the fries. I had the beer cheese fries...delicious!! They had a very nice selection of sauces and toppings to put on the chicken wraps. Grill Chasers is definitely a top notch food truck. The staff were very nice and very accommodating. I look forward to working with Jami and the team again in the future!! read more

Yep this is as good as it gets.! The bacon beer cheese fries are one of a kind, the southwest wrap was filled with everything tasty from savory chicken to grilled onions to the tangy sauce with just enough heat. Honestly this food was sooooo delicious and the quantity for the price is not found anywhere I know. Jami was awesome. I emailed my order a rather large order via email. She had everything ready on time and the food was amazing. The chicken was very moist and cooked to perfection all the sauces were excellent. The pancakes they serve up are very good and the macaroni was very good and creamy. What a disappointment ! The café in our office building is closed for remodeling, so their truck came to our office. I decided to try the Mac 'n Cheese and the Wing Tasters. I can't believe I paid $4 for what ended up being about 4 tablespoons (or 10 cents worth from an 89 cent 16 oz. box of pasta) !! The cheese wasn't fully melted and it wasn't all that hot (temperature). The other things that struck me negatively: while waiting for my food, watched a worker dump fries into a basket; those that fell on the counter weren't thrown away, but picked up with his hand and dumped into the basket too. Everything came wrapped in foil (and not very carefully); the woman just scrunched it all together leaving gaps where it had the opportunity to get cold (instead of folding carefully around the food to make sure it was all encased to keep warm). They offered no bags for the food, so if you were picking up more than one order, good luck juggling it all in your hands. And the real turn-off for me . . . when you use a credit card, they have the audacity to point out the fact that you have the option to leave a tip. Really . . . you're a food truck that just charged me $4 for three mouthfuls of macaroni. Definitely will not revisit this food truck. read more

Our hats are off to Jami and the gang at Grill Chasers. They were the hit of the College of DuPage Food Truck Rally and earned the Runner's Choice Award! Fabulous food, fantastic service and professional attention to every detail. The Ole' chicken skewers with mango salsa are my favs! How they keep that chicken so moist is ridiculous! The flavor profile is citrus, a little heat and a ton of freshness! The Chicago roti wrap is fluffy, sweet and spicy at the same time and delicious. All their original dipping sauces add delightful infusions of intense flavor to the juiciest chicken in town. But I have to say, the big surprise was the creamy mac and cheese. Just when i thought it couldn't get any better, I finished my meal with the cheesy concoction. Over the top is all I can say. my friends were noshing on the bacon beer cheese fries, but I was so stuffed, I couldn't indulge. There is always next time! Thanks Grill Chasers! read more
