    Turkey sandwich

Recent visit. Tried the turkey club and the bread was stale. Very disappointing sandwich. Unfortunately there is no picture because it was sent to the trash immediately.

This was such a great find while in Petoskey! We came here for some lunch on a Saturday. It was a little crowded but line moved very quickly. The staff was so friendly. All of the tables were full in the dining room but by the time our food was done, we were able to grab a table. My lunch was delicious. I had the Some Like fish (Melt) - Albacore tuna salad with smoked cheddar and roasted tomato grilled on dark rye. I added one of their soups of the day - Tomato Gorgonzola. It was my favorite part! I love delis and this one did not disappoint. If I lived closer, I would eat there very frequently! My kid loved his peanut butter and jelly sandwich. And my husband loved his sandwich called Gotta Try This with roasted turkey breast with avocado, alfalfa sprouts & sun-dried tomato mayonnaise on pepper parmesan bread! Overall, this place was amazing!

White cheddar and bacon on grilled cherry pecan bread. Small pickle slice and a bag of chips.

Everything tomato from pictures on the walls to salt and pepper shakers on the tables in this quaint little soup/salad/sandwich shop. Diners place their orders at the counter where the friendly staff hands out drink cups, dishes up cups or bowls of soup or fruit, cookies or brownies and slices of quiche. They deliver the remainder of the food to your table. I ordered a grilled sandwich on cherry pecan bread and filled with white cheddar and bacon. It came with a small bag of plain potato chips and a quarter slice of pickle. Along with a fountain soda, the total rang up to $16+. While tasty, the sandwich seemed small and nothing spectacular. I hoped they might have slipped in a juicy slice of tomato (Julienne Tomato after all). My friend ordered quiche, a cup of fresh fruit and a double-chocolate brownie along with her drink. She said it was "good."

This was a nice find in downtown Petoskey. A charming friendly cafe as described. We ordered two turkey sandwiches which were tasty.

This place is adorable. Came here on a Saturday and didn't realize they served breakfast until 12. I will definitely be coming back to try it because it looked delicious. I went with the Cali club and it was very tasty. Highly recommend! I also tried the brownie and it was okay. But I'm a snob when it comes to brownies. The service was fast and friendly and I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. The bathroom was so cute with the wall painting and it was nice and clean. Thank you! Lots of street parking around and it's easy to pay for.

    Sugar cookie with sprinkles. Delicious!

Hated the dude who was a co-owner here a decade or two ago. But the sandwiches are good. And the vibes are better now he's gone.

To start, the atmosphere is beautiful, with the restaurant right on the harbor of Little Traverse Bay. The ambiance inside was welcoming, with the bar being connected to the outside seating. The service was also amazing, helping out with food and drink recs as well as constantly checking in. The food and drink were the stars of the show. We had the ahi tuna tacos, sticky ribs, crispy shrimp bao buns, and buffalo chicken lollipops. There were so many mouth-watering shareable options that we had to just get a bunch of those. Loved every bite! The drinks were also phenomenal. I tried the moon rabbit, which ended up being one of my favorite drinks I've ever had. Gin, ginger, lime, cucumber, and sesame oil - unbelievably refreshing combination, give it a try. Overall this place was phenomenal and it will now be a must have on future trips up north!

It sits right on the water, making it the perfect spot for a nice meal with a gorgeous view. I'll be honest--the food used to be pretty mediocre in my opinion, but I'm not sure what changed because they have seriously stepped up their game! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We had the shrimp bao buns, burrata, lobster pappardelle, and the flank steak with grits, and every single dish was a 10/10. The flavors are unique, interesting, and so well done. The portions are also surprisingly generous. It's definitely on the pricier side, but you're getting high-quality food AND a substantial amount of it, so it feels well worth it. The restaurant is beautiful and clean, and the service is always excellent. If you're in the Bay Harbor area, I'd definitely recommend giving Nomad a try--you won't be disappointed!

My friend ordered the kabob dinner and said it was good...but over $20 for some veggies is crazy. My gyro and truffle fries....honestly I should have just sent them back. This is one of the most disappointing meals I've had recently. They put a tomato paste on it that I almost requested without, but trusted it would be interesting. It literally tasted like cheap canned tomato paste. Gross and certainly doesn't blend well on a gyro. The lamb meat itself had a decent taste, but the way it is served makes it difficult to eat in a pita. Gyros are typically chopped or shaved lamb which makes it easier to eat and helps ensure you're getting more lamb per bite. Served in these strips, it was just falling apart and not blending with the feta. The fries...terrible. Just terrible. $6 to sub truffle fries which seems like too much but I hadn't had them in a long time so had to go for it. Listed in subs it simply says truffle fries, so I didn't know they were going to be covered in liquid cheese. They ARE listed in appetizers with the full description but I didn't look there until after bc I didn't order an appetizer. The cheese was awful, completely overwhelmed the TINY bit of truffle taste, and SO salty! Take a look at the picture and decide for yourself if the gyro and fries is worth $23. I eat a lot of gyros, and this being the most expensive one I've had is the worst. Heads up that they charge a service fee. Doesn't bother me as I always tip at least 20% but no one pointed that out and I'm not really sure what it's for. Does that go into the servers pocket or? Won't be going back to find out.

It was warm, delicious, very tasty , a bit spicy and served on a really good soft bun with crispy edges. Perfectly cooked the sandwiches are served with orange slices , which is a nice break from chips or fries ! They have numerous coffe and matcha drinks hotv& cold. I tried the cold match blackberry lemonade and it was good and my hubby had the matcha raspberry latte and he really liked his. You know it's a great place when you unexpectedly run into the bride eating there the morning after her wedding!!! The only thing keeping me from giving this restaurant 5 stars ( because the food quality IS there !) is the bathroom situation. There's a very tiny sing men's and women's with a sink to wash hands inbetween. I didn't mind the " closet bathroom stall - I minded the dirty floor and the fact that when I went to wash my hands in the shared sink outside the stall in between the bathrooms , barely any soap dispenses! I went under 4 x just to get enough soap to get the buffalo sauce off of my hands. This is concerning because it makes you wonder if the cooks are bothering to try to get any soap on their hands ?! . Roast and Toast : *Clean the bathroom floors and get a new soap dispenser and I bet you'll get the stars and reviews your food deserves !

Because the place was populated (but not crowded) and my order was simple (a matcha and cranberry chicken salad) Filling my order was a lay-up. The drink came in a timely fashion but my sandwich was nowhere to be found. Add to that I was sitting in the very visible window seat, by myself...a fact made more obvious by the fact that no one was near me and I'm a black dude in a very white restaurant (basically making me even more obvious). Now to be clear: I DO NOT think this was racially motivated, I DO think , however, it was due to inattentive staff. Personally I'm also not a fan of having to go get my food when they call my name, ESPECIALLY if the drink and the food come out at different times. Too much up and down for me. Cute place but I was disappointed...which bums me out because I really WANTED to like this place. This will probably be my only time here (as I am just passing through) and, sadly, this was the impression I was left with.
