Took home some pork skewers and stuffed tilapia
    David T.

My first time trying filipino street food, and I gotta say I really enjoyed it. I tried the pork bbq skewers and they were so juicy and not too fatty. The marinade and sauce on the skewers were on the money. Also got the stuffed talipia and it was really tasty also. I really enjoyed the food here. However, I'm docking a star for the price and the slow moving line. They should hire like 1-2 more people and get the line moving. For 6 skewers it's $20 and 2 tilapia for $16.

Grill City is the third quick service restaurant located in Seafood City that I ordered from today to take home .They have a large variety of grilled items ranging from chicken to seafood. I bought the small portion of Pork bbq. The pork was well cooked succulent and tender and it came with rice. I split up the portion into two so I can have some today and some tomorrow . As a foodie I do plan to return and try the liempo, bangus and pompano for future visits . Hopefully I arrive earlier next time in order to avoid a long lineup The Service at Grill City was very good. I had no problems.

I was ready for an early dinner. I found out that Heartland Centre has an Edo Japan. I love this franchise. It's Canadian and I like the food offerings. It took me nine minutes to drive over to this eatery. It's across from Best Buy and JYSK. Skechers is nearby. What I like about this location is that it's sandwiched between Starbucks on the left and Copper Branch on the right. I love all three businesses. I was pleased. I had no problem finding a parking spot. I backed into an available one and walked over. This eatery is large and clean. A male staffer was taking a break and chowing down. There was one customer waiting for his order. His order was ready. As he went to fetch it from the counter, it allowed me to look at the chicken ramen deal. The ramen has tonkotsu broth and it comes with a fountain drink. Sold! I got a nice, friendly woman who took my order. I went with the chicken ramen soup combo. I had my Edo rewards barcode scanned. I earn points that convert to dollars that you can use towards the cost of a future meal. Sweet! I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was done. I got a cup for my drink. She gave me my order number and said that it would be called out. I used the fountain drink machine. I filled my cup with ice and then Diet Coke. I put a lid on it and fetched a straw. My drink tasted crisp and great. I refilled my cup before I left. I sat closest to the window. The male staffer was where I would have liked to have sat down, because it was a two-seater table and I'd be closer to the machine. I got another two-seater table closer to the window. The nice female staffer came over with my ramen. It was a nice service touch. I appreciated the gesture. She said that she was happy to do it. So great! It's one reason why this place gets a perfect review. The service was stellar. The chicken ramen was excellent. Sure, it's fast food. It was good. The chicken was tender. I loved the veggies. It had corn, which was awesome! The ramen was thicker than I had imagined it to be. It was yummy. I liked the broth. It probably had more pepper than I would have liked. However, it was delicious. It wasn't salty. The pork flavour was mild, but good. I drank it all up. I put away my tray and disposed of everything. It was easy throwing away each item, as the garbage area listed which items go where. I used the washroom before I left. There were two single stalls. One had a large button to open the door for accessibility. I used the one without it. The stall was clean. I also liked the hand drier that allowed me to put my drink on top of it. I enjoyed dining here. The food and drink were awesome. Staff were friendly and excellent. I'd return again when I'm in the area. (17)

I found the taste somewhat artificial, and it was a bit too sweet for my preference; I'd probably request less sugar next time. The service was quick, and the store wasn't crowded. The service was fast and friendly, and they have seating options there but we ended up just doing a take out. This time, I ordered the Bamboo bowl for myself and others in my party got the Oaxaca and Tex Mex. We split our bowls so we could try all flavours and personally, I think the sauce makes the bowl and always go extra sauce. In order, I like the Bamboo (green curry sauce), Tex Mex (ranch sauce), and Oaxaca (spicy yogurt sauce) in that order. The green curry sauce in the Bamboo bowl was divine and all the veggies that came with the bowl added to the flavour of it. Tex Mex, same thing - ranch is bomb and the veggies the bowl comes with was perfect. Oaxaca I enjoyed but think it's not a flavour everyone will like. The spicy yogurt sauce leans towards the sour side and kind of overpowers the veggies/meat in the bowl with it. The flavour is a bit stronger compared to the Tex Mex and Bamboo, so even though the portion I had of it was the same size as the portion of the other flavours, it felt more filling just because the sauce was so strong. The bowl I tried on my last visit (not pictured), the Pangoa, I definitely liked least, for similar reasons. I'm all for BBQ, but in a bowl with veggies, I couldn't taste anything but BBQ so I felt like i was just eating BBQ + rice. Overall really great flavours for a healthy meal. I mainly prefer bowls because I think they're more filling, but know their wraps are fantastic too (from corporate lunches). Will definitely come back for more!

I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was made to order I visually saw them drop the chicken into the oil, so it was a little bit of a wait but I knew my food would be hot and fresh. The sandwich was a lot bigger than I expected and they used a different bun than I'm used to. The breading was delicious it was not too thick, it was crunchy, and the chicken was juicy it is breast meat but it was juicy. I chose spicy I think the sauce that they use is what makes the spice not the actual chicken itself I could be wrong but the chicken itself didn't taste that spicy to me. The bun that they use is good quality bun but I did find that it was a little bit too dry I would have preferred the regular soft bun that you normally get at other fried chicken chains. Overall it was delicious the chicken was delicious and it was extremely filling halfway through the sandwich I was starting to feel full, I couldn't imagine if I got a combo and had to eat sides on top of the sandwich. I do think a big part of it is the bun The bun is filling on its own.
