    Lamb and Chicken Kabobs

Service is terrible but the food carries them, without that I wouldn't go here. It seems like whoever's the manager that day determines whether or not you'll receive (or even be allowed to purchase) extra sauces. The cashiers also are either indifferent to you or are outright hostile depending on whoever is there as well. It's not a big deal though if you know what to expect as the portions are huge and the food tastes great. Go for the kabob platters as that's where the value is and try the sauces on everything. You'll definitely be more than full after a meal. Would be more happy going more often if the service was better but after a few years I unfortunately don't think they'll be changing how they run things at this location.

Everybody knows where the good people go but where we're going baby ain't no such word as no

Has the same name as a (much better) place up in Buffalo. But is a lot cheaper - go figure, since this is in NOVA, the home of expensive stuff for the whole East Coast. Cute little Kebab shop inside the Springfield Town Center. I think I've eaten here twice although one time it was take out so it was already cold by the time we ate it and reheating Kebab meat makes it dry. When we had it fresh it was pretty good. Especially considering it comes from a Mall food court. It's somewhere between a 3 and a 4 (like the reviews suggest) but considering the price, cheap in an expensive area, I'll go with 4.

I got the #4 platter, lamb kabob. It is made to order so there is a wait. The platter comes with fresh Naan and chickpea soup.

I have a eaten curry Middle Eastern food all my life and i ordered this today while eating with my family at the mall. I took it back up to the counter and asked the owner/manager if he had any fresh chicken because the chicken in the bowl was rubbery and hard to chew he says NO our food never gets old we are busy and doesn't replace it. FINE I just won't eat here anymore and recommend people stay away or just simply make sure the food is fresh.

Sooo much rice and a few hunks of meat

I have been craving kabobs for awhile and saw this place while at the mall and thought why not ? The wait took forever and the cashier was alittle annoyed taking orders but whatever. You do get alot of food but I wish there was more meat for what I paid for. There was a ton of rice and a ton of side items but just one tiny stick of meat :/ not sure if I will return I'm sure there are other places better. What I did have however was delicious so overall...typical mall food

I sometimes go to the mall just to get this platter. Springfield Town Center is one of my favorite food courts and this would be my favorite dish here. You really get a great meal for the dollar. The fresh made bread and the chic peas that come with it is deliciously filling.

Messiest, but one of the tastiest, chicken kabob sandwiches I've had. Why are people in line for chipotle?!

Solid. For a food court, A+. Like that numerous immigrants seem to frequent the place.

Avoid. Slowest service in the food court. Had to wait 20 minutes for a simple gyro wrap.

The wait time is longer than it used to be even when they were not busy. Service was worst too...

I first tried the assorted kebabs. Unfortunately, the chicken had dried out and the kofta felt too crumbly. The chicken rice dish had quite aromatic rice but underseasoned chicken; seasoned rice alone can't substitute bland chicken drumsticks. The lamb rice dish had both aromatic rice and juicy, well seasoned lamb. I ended up combining the lamb pieces with the chicken rice. Out of curiosity, I tried a piece of their fried chicken. It proved juicy and not too oily. It would do well as a standalone appetizer in most restaurants. I also tried something that looked like lasagna, but without tomato. It tasted, to my uncultured palate, like a lasagna with some sort of cream or bechamel-like sauce. I quite enjoyed it. For dessert, my friend convinced me to try what I had initially passed over as oatmeal or tapioca pudding. The Omi Ali proved quite delectable, like a cross between bread pudding and oatmeal but with more nuanced spices and sweetness. I added it to my short list of desserts I enjoy, since I don't have much of a sweet tooth. Overall, I appreciated the breath and variety. Some hits and misses are to be expected at a homely, ethnic neighborhood style buffet.
