One of the worst experiences I've ever had at mezeh. The ladies working there had no idea what was going on. The main girl working there this Sunday 7/5 told me the tahini dressing contains eggs and dairy in it. I told her I'm vegan and have always gotten tahini and that the mezeh website lists it as vegan. She treated me like I was crazy. After not knowing what to believe anymore I asked for one extra pita which she tried to charge me for. The staff here seem like zombies. I hadn't been here in awhile and this place is as enjoyable as always and worth the trek. You can't go wrong with a steak bowl (yes it's worth the extra $3) with almost all the toppings. Start with a white rice and romaine lettuce base and load that up with the toppings (especially caramelized eggplant) and you really can't make a mistake that throws off the flavor but be careful not to mix the sauces. You get a ton of food and they even throw in a fresh, hot pita. Service is fast and friendly, they keep the line moving but sometimes you get behind a customer who doesn't know the menu options and has a thousand questions. This is part of a small food chain. The restaurant is hip and trendy. They have a decent sized dining room with music playing throughout. The staff there is very friendly and welcoming. They serve mediterranean bowls that you direct them to prepare the bowl like you do a Subway sandwich. They also have wraps. I got the lamb gyro wrap. It was pretty good. It was prepared as I watched and was very fresh. I liked it. My only issue is that the ingredients were not spread out on the pita really good and was all gone in a bite or two. It should be noted that they have some very exotic drinks that you can purchase to wash you meal down. You wont find any Coke or Sprite here. Unfortunately this store just lost my business. Went to give it another shot after a subpar customer service experience last time, They are open until 8pm, I arrived at 6:55pm. Several customers were eating in the restaurant. Was told they are closed and out of protein. I could see the trays were full, including protein. Politely asked about the closing time and they said they were only taking online orders, even though it was an hour before closing. Clarifying that the protein trays were full, as well as all the other ingredients. They refused to take an order at the counter, saying they had to keep it available for potential online customers. Super disappointed that a restaurant refused to serve in person customers, in favor of online orders. If you look at my reviews they are 98% positive, as I don't like putting down a business publicly. But this is just bad business. read more

I was kindly greeted by the manger who took my order for a second time as it's my second time at this location and I can honestly say the food here, as always, was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was lively and open but still relaxed, making it perfect for me to enjoy my lunch. I can tell the manager puts effort into making sure the customer gets what they want and he does a great job of welcoming and making the walkthrough ordering experience nice. Ome is an exceptional employee. Rarely do I give five star reviews. This restaurant with this kind employee, speaks of quality seen not often. By all means eat here. Healthy and flavorful food experience. My favorite meal is the hot chicken. Succulent and mixed with high quality ingredients, I'm a fan. Cleanliness and friendliness are in effect here. I looked for a way to write to the manager directly. I am a pescetarian and today for my 'bowl' I wanted cooked vegetables. 1 TB of mini pieces of broccoli/cauliflower is not a portion for someone who is not also asking for other proteins(Meats). I used to be Team CAVA, but for the past two years, Team Mezeh has really won me over. I love the more extensive ingredient options. I find the meat more tender and plentiful In portion at Mezeh too. There are a large amount of vegetarian options. I ordered online and picked up in the store and the guy at the front was friendly, but they were clearly overwhelmed with both in person orders and assembling online orders. I'm used to Mezeh In a mall setting, but the atmosphere-particularly the outdoor seating here-was quite nice while I waited for my order. I've been to this Mezeh location many times since it is right down the street. Every time I do an online order, it is never ready on the shelf for pickup. Today I went in around 6pm to pick up my order and it was not on the order shelf. I walked up to the front to ask about our order and the staff member seemed confused that our order was even placed and had to begin making it. I ordered about 15 minutes prior to going to the store to go at the pickup time. Since it wasn't ready I had to wait 10 minutes for them to make the bowls. I would recommend not doing online orders for this location and just order in person. The employees in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. The ingredients were fresh as always. One bowl we ordered had falafel and they only gave us 2 when normally they add at least 3. Another bowl had barely any spinach/mixed greens as the base. The food is good, but they need to be consistent with how the bowls are made. read more

Can I just say how much I love Mezeh?! Wow. I love trying new places in the neighborhood. I was happy to see the variety of options on the menu. I ordered the chicken swarma bowl with brown rice and a lovely range of toppings, dips and sauces. I loved the freshness of all of the toppings. I am a veggie lover. Their veggies did not disappoint. I fell in love with the caramelized eggplant. I wish this was an option as a main. I could just eat a bowl of that. Don't get me wrong, the chicken swarma was really good. After a long day at work came here for a bite around 9pm. There was no line and the restaurant was nearly empty. I got the chicken shawarma with kale, spinach, brown rice and additional hummus, other toppings. The caramelized eggplants were so good. I got a drink cup and tried their kale juice, watermelon lemonade, papaya drink as well. These weren't that sweet but sweet enough. Regardless of the amount of people present, the food was incredibly good. I would recommend going here for a quick bite. There are plenty of seating so you can dine in. Or you can take it to go. I came here for the Check In to Check Out Mezeh Yelp Elite Event and I was VERY impressed. First time at this location, second time trying Mezeh. First, this place was 10000x better than the location at Springfield Mall--the toppings and food looked SUPER fresh compared to the other place! The service was also pretty good, the employees were friendly and kind--actually, the manager was the least kind (funny, huh?). He was a bit short and abrupt. But Kudos to the rest of the staff. The food? AMAZING per usual. Like I mentioned above, very fresh and yummy. The flavors mix together harmoniously and puts me in food heaven. UNLIMITED TOPPINGS ( beats out cava for me). The drinks are also great, I like the kale juice and the watermelon (but I think Cava drinks best out mezeh drinks). They also give you a free pita bread on the side when you order a bowl (the pita bread is good, but Cava's pita bread is a bit more savory). The food was amazing, although I was a bit disappointed about the place in response to the yelp event, the yelp said that you could invite a guess however at check out they only aloud me to have one meal instead of two, even though I brought my two daughters and I was willing to pay for one as they only aloud one guess.
