    Lamb mandi
    Latifa H.

We went here for dinner + hookah since I love Mandi food. I got the lamb Mandi which was amazing and I would just go back for that. The hookah is great and very reasonably priced ($20) with heated outdoor seating. The place is open till 4 am and has music and is usually packed so great for alcohol free nightlife (no alcohol since it's a halal place). I have also gotten chicken Mandi from here and it's not that great. So I would only recommend their lamb dishes

I tagged this place to visit on yelp. So, I took a ride to Annandale from Woodbridge today. It was not worth it. There are too many like places near me that are so much better. When I arrived one other person entered who was picking up food. That was it during the next 20 minutes while I was there. This made me leery. Yummy Kabob had an odor; and not the spicy aromas I grew accustomed to from middle eastern restaurants. (I know, I should have left. But, I came so far, and their ratings were high). The place was freezings, so I waited in my car for my food. I ordered a combination of chicken and salmon kabobs, chickpeas, and yellow rice. Overall, the food was unremarkable, not bad, but not great. Instead of the chickpeas I ordered they gave me spinach. Unfortunately, I was home before I discovered this. Last, I was disappointed that I did not get that signature bread. Bottom line, it pays to really examine reviews, and not look at the overall rating before you tag them to visit.

Yummy Kabob feels completely refreshed after the renovation. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the food is very delicious and flavorful. It's a great spot to visit, especially in the summer.

My forever favorite will be the tonkotsu kakuni belly ramen the broth of the Tonkotsu is flavorful and I keep coming back to this place because I cannot find somewhere that can beat it.

Food is delicious as always, the price on the menu online made sense and then I got my bill and it was way more than what it said online. Will probably go back but not sure why the price changed when I paid. Service was pretty slow as well which I don't usually mind but it wasn't busy.

Good food, kind of awkward experience. I had been wanting to try this place because it's in such an unusual location and it's near the Cross County Trail (not a lot of businesses are). They really seemed like they didn't want me to eat there. They handed me the food to go when I wanted to eat it there. I asked if there was some kind of outside patio where I could eat, and they said no. Then I noticed the cool indoor/outdoor hookah space (which I'd seen online.) I was like, "can I eat there?" They were like ........"oh yeah, sure." I got out there and they turned the music off. Totally strange vibe. This was around 3 pm, so it was definitely a strange time anyway. The shawarma was decent. The pita was perfect, the chicken a little gamey, the garlic sauce was money. I was really surprised to see they're open until 4 am! It must really transform in the evening.

Wasn't what I expected. Chicken was red & sort of spicy. Flavorful, I just don't eat spicy food so that was off putting. Chickpeas were yummy!

Chaotic parking, disorganized service, a cluttered outdoor setup, and a great time. Yummy Kabob cafe was one of the most fun and chaotic food experiences I have had in a while. A very chill dining and hookah experience, this place is great for medium and large group sizes. It is also open until 5 am and is great for a late night hangout spot. Now for a spot like this, the food is surprisingly very good. The kabob combo had very flavorful and well cooked chicken and beef kabobs. The chicken over rice was solid as well and the chai was very good especially late at night with a group. I highly recommend this place as a late night joint for fun vibes and good food!

I found an insect in my food. This is completely unacceptable

I found a bug in my food. The kitchens are very dirty and filthy. At night, rats and bugs must be throwing parties inside.

Yummy Hookah Lounge offers a vibrant atmosphere perfect for unwinding with friends. During my recent visit, I had the pleasure of being served by Suzan, whose exceptional service truly enhanced my experience. Suzan's attentiveness and professionalism stood out, as she effortlessly catered to our needs and ensured we had a fantastic time. Her warm demeanor and knowledge of the menu further elevated our evening. Overall, Yummy Hookah Lounge provides a top-notch experience, with Suzan's outstanding service being a highlight worth mentioning. Last but certainly Not the least.. their dishes are definitely YUMMY !!!

for those who live in NoVa and looking for late night eateries - this place's kabobs are really good. I've always been a fan of chicken platters , so their chicken kabob platter is really juicy, I've been here about 3x before writing this review and my chicken made has not been dry so I've been really happy about it. Next, the lamb mandi is oh my god- it just comes off the bone. it's so aromatic, flavorful. highly recommend for those who are afraid that lamb will be more gamey. honestly, it was so tender! also - must order apps include the hummus (if you eat at the restaurant, they give you extra naan) and the falafels are good too!

Food is not that great and they did not give me parts of my order. The naan was burnt and this is not traditional butter chicken.

I'm a newer vegetarian, and I've tried falafel from quite a few places at this point and if I'm being honest, I had started to get a little turned off by it. But this place completely changed that for me. Their falafel wrap? Absolutely incredible. You can truly taste the difference. They make their falafel fresh daily, and it shows. It was perfectly seasoned, savory, and MOUTH-WATERING. Not dry, not overly heavy, just pure perfection. I'm still thinking about it, and I would go back just for that wrap alone. We also tried a few appetizers, and everything hit. The fries were perfectly crisp (not soggy at all), the Brussels sprouts were packed with flavor, and the hummus was smooth and fresh, exactly what you want. The crudités were also a great touch and paired really well with everything else and whatever homemade sauce they're using? That took everything to another level. My friend ordered a salad, and even that stood out. The beets were incredibly fresh, and you could tell that quality is a priority across the entire menu. Beyond the food, the experience itself was just as good. The ambiance is beautiful, very calming and welcoming, the kind of place you actually want to sit and enjoy your meal. The service was also top-tier. The servers were patient, attentive, and really detail-oriented. My friend has a gluten allergy, and they took extra care to make sure everything was handled properly, which we really appreciated. What really sets Naja apart is how fresh everything tastes. Nothing felt pre-made or rushed. It all felt intentional and well-prepared. If you're vegetarian, or even just looking for a solid Mediterranean spot with fresh, flavorful food and great service, this is 10/10 worth checking out. I'll definitely be back.

We had not returned to the restaurant since it changed hands and became Naja. A last minute pivot with a party of 5 gave us an opportunity to retry it, and we ultimately found the dining experience more compelling than its predecessor. Upon arrival, I was somewhat surprised to find the interior has only been lightly altered since the Kirby Club days. The restaurant still possesses a sunny, bright ambiance with large booths and a decently sized patio. We sat in one of the banquettes and ordered our food in short order. We started with the dips which taste very similar to prior. The havuc dip is unique to the restaurant and well worth an order for its sweet-savory flavor. The competent, tasty rendition of muhammara strikes the appropriate balance between smoky, roasted flavors and sweetness from pomegranate molasses and bell pepper. The hummus and baba ganoush both had a decently creamy texture, but did not satisfy to the same extent as the other dips. The pita served alongside tasted fresh but some pieces ran a bit dry. My parents enjoyed their falafel and chicken shawarma wraps which come with a side of either crispy fries or well seasoned breakfast potatoes. My wife and I did not love the kabob plate we shared. The kabobs were cooked competently enough, but tasted a little bland on their own and needed significant saucing from admittedly tasty condiments such as garlicky toum, tangy red shatta, and spicy shug. New to Naja is a menu of Lebanese manoushe, and we thoroughly enjoyed the lahm bi ajin rendition with a tender layer of well spiced lamb coating a soft, puffy layer of bread. Naja also possesses other brunch dishes that seem intriguing such as shakshuka and a breakfast wrap with kofta sausage. These dishes appear relegated to weekends, so consider a brunch visit for these appealing menu items. My wife and I also sampled a pair of cocktails which tasted fresh and balanced; the libations are a marked upgrade relative to the predecessor. Service was strictly so-so, as our waiter didn't act super warmly or helpfully. I think our server was more of an anomaly than anything, as the remainder of the staff were quite friendly towards us. Overall, Naja's expanded brunch menu and superior cocktail program render it well worth a visit for prior fans of Kirby Club. It's a great option for non-chain brunch in Mosaic and a worthy option for a Middle Eastern craving.

Ample space, proceeding, courteous staff, and an average expanding menu of authentic Lebanese dishes, sides, desserts, and my personal favorite Turkish coffee.
