Well cooked and seasoned chicken. The sizzlers were nice and tangy. I suggest those if you like more contrasting flavors otherwise the chicken is good. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by the friendly staff who made me feel welcome and offered me a variety of seating options for any occasion (small intimate booths, family style booths, and large tables for parties). There was lots of BBQ options to choose from. Whether it's their Whole Chicken that is marinated for over 24 hours in the Peri Peri Sauce, Beef Back Ribs, or even their Grilled Espetada (skewers), everything comes out piping hot and fresh, delivered to your table or takeout container (for takeout/delivery). If you ever happen to dine in, the Grilled Espetada is a great dish to share and to have fun with, when cutting the meat off. Food tasted really good. However, you need to place your order at the counter. The Service and food delivery extremely slow. I waited over 45 minutes to get my food which is ridiculous. Even tho it is an extremely busy restaurant they need faster food service. Several parties were getting upset and wanted to leave including myself. I was only 1 party. Pros: 1) Fries tasted good 2) Beef back ribs were big Cons: 1) the food was cold 2) Chicken was dry and portion was small 3) Sauce on the ribs had a chemical type taste to them. This is the first time my partner and I had Grillado's. It was a very busy place but after tasting the food, we can see why it would be. It has definitely surpassed our expectations. I've had peri-peri chicken in the UK, and I've always said that UK peri-peri chicken was the best. Now I can say that Grillado's peri-peri chicken is on the same level. My partner had the Chicken Espatada with onion rings and peri-peri fries while I had the whole chicken. We both got the spicy sauce which gave the chicken some heat to it. We were hoping to get the Spicy Tandoori Espatada and the Spicy Rice, but unfortunately they didnt't have it at the time. It's the only reason why I gave it a 4-star review. One of the staff came up to our table to ask us how the food was which was really nice. I would highly recommend this place as I already recommended it to my family and friends. Love the fact this place is ORGANIC and HALAL! I have been trying to have my kids eat organic chicken and it's always been tough to find a place that serves organic chicken which they would enjoy. So I drove all this way to this place and I am glad I did! The food was good. The customer service was amazing. Originally from Montréal, and they've brought with them their famous Portuguese chicken with a South African twist! This is my first time at Grillado's and the food was amazing. Me and my family ordered the signature platter and it came with many different delicious dishes. I mostly enjoyed the whole chicken and the chicken wings as they had very great flavours. We also ordered a side of ribs which were also very good and they fell right off the bone. The staff was very attentive and they took care of us with what ever we needed. If you are ever in the eglinton and Dixie area, pass by and grab yourself some great food.
