Place started to pick up and get busy immediately after we ordered. Food came out pretty quickly. We each had a burger. Not a lot of options on the menu but we all tried the emily burger. It was worth it. Think, juicy and with an amazingly unique taste. The ingredients were high quality, the burger cooked to perfection. The table also split the modern pizza (I think). Not sure what to expect from this one but turns out it was perfect, unique and delicious. The cheese taste really shined through. Overall, we were super happy with the food here. Stop by if you have a chance.

Today however it wasn't pizza that brought me here, it was the famous Emmy Burger. To begin with the atmosphere of the restaurant is dim lighting a few tables with a reasonable sized bar in the middle of the room. They also have an open kitchen concept where just past the bar you can see the cooks working. My server Inda was polite and knowledgeable about the menu. My burger was excellent, normally I don't eat my burger with a knife and folk, but in this case with all the cheese and sauce oozing down the sides, not to mention the caramelized onions, it was necessary. (If I were home I wouldn't mind having burger juices running down my arm, but other people were eating in the restaurant also). The tiny pickles which I can't remember the name of were an added treat to the burger. I decided to order mine with the loaded fries. Just imagine the ground burger with all the toppings covering french fries and add melted white cheese. Since I was alone I didn't order a pizza because how would I eat it all, but next time I will try the pizza. I don't mind paying extra for a burger when it's aged beef and the taste is great. I definitely recommend this location. There is a fast food burger restaurant next door to Emily's but I can't imagine there burgers compare. I will try them another time and let you know. It's a small place with window seating so you may want to order to go. I ordered the classic cheese steak sandwich and it was delicious. The bread has a garlic butter spread, the steak is of high quality (far better than anything from the local bodega), and the cheese and onions bring it all together. I couldn't finish it and the bread held up until the next day, so that was a plus for me. The service was quick and friendly. Highly recommended.

Driving through Brooklyn and stopped for the first time in prob. 10 years, and it was the same quality, portion and taste as I remembered. I'm not even a big roast beef fan but it is just so good here, and their fries are legendery, too. Their iced tea and lemonade is also memorable, in a good way. We spent enough ($50) to get a free pizza and that too was tasty - thin crust. Can't wait to stop by again in another few years. It's worth the stop.

I placed my online order, scheduled my pick up time and then I mosied from Cobble Hill cinema to 7th via B63 and was here quickly. My order was ready and found a seat in the Communal Table. I took my first bite of my Impossible which was impossibly delicious: hot smashed burger, melted cheese and fixins. The best 77 cents I have spent in a long while.
