We ordered 3 sandwiches from here to split because they all sounded very good but were we ever disappointed! The sandwiches had no flavor what so ever which I don't understand how. One of the sandwiches we ordered was the chicken avocado on garlic bread, there was absolutely no flavor. It didn't even taste like it was on garlic bread. None of the sandwiches were worth finishing, i probably could have made a better grilled cheese on the stove with Kraft singles. This place has so much potential but falls so short. The items on the menu sound so yummy but the execution is disappointing. I got the avocado which is mozz cheese, avocado, chicken and ranch. The avocado was nasty store bought avocado spread so it wasn't even fresh. The chicken was from a can and everything was microwaved. If this placed just used fresher ingredients and got some better bread then it would be amazing. It tasted like something from a cafeteria. And it's expensive!! I won't be going back. read more

I'm glad the picky eater from Summit admitted to being particular; sure fries and rings could be served, but so could other sides and possibly the Factory will add/vary their soup selections in the future. I love this place. I can't ever decide what to get! I work in morristown and go to this place all the time. I etiher eat there or I pick up and bring it back for everyone at work. Since they have gluton free bread everyone at work LOVES the sandwiches. The sandwiches are very large! If you know me, you know that I am the least race sensitive person in the world. With that being said, last night I was absolutely embarrassed in public at the Melt Factory Grilled Cheese in Morristown, I was being trolled as someone else. After having fun at Grasshopper with my friends we walked right across the street to the grilled cheese spot, literally right across the street from the bar. I walked into the grilled cheese place and the Latin/ spanish guy immediately had an attitude with me saying that "i've seen him before"... meanwhile I didn't pay it any attention because I had no clue what that meant and I've done nothing but get grilled cheeses there(I haven't been there in over 6 months). The man working the register wouldn't even give me eye contact while I was ordering my food and I began to get irritated, knowing that I'm being disregarded and belittled because this guy THINKS he knows who I am. After getting my grilled cheese, one of the customers said a slick comment and I said something back which resulted in me getting escorted out by the same guy that swore he knew me. Following the incident, I talked to a police officer that was across the street about what I can do and according to him I look like someone that was arrested a month ago and this was the part that pushed me over the edge. So just because I look like someone I have to tolerate the consequences? This made me think beyond me. Do I really have to go out worrying about looking like somebody else? Do I have to go out worrying that I'm gonna be discriminated against bc I look like somebody? read more

When you first walk in, this place seems like a restaurant you would find in the poorer areas of West Virginia. Looking at the menu I was very excited because the sandwiches seemed to be very substantial and I thought that they would be bursting with flavor and cheesy goodness. I chose the #19, the mac rib. A grilled cheese with pulled pork and mac and cheese. I thought that I would get a sandwich overflowing with pulled pork and mac and cheese. However, when it came out it was shrimpy. It barley had any pulled pork or mac and cheese on it, the mac and cheese was awful and it did not go well with american cheese. It was basically all bread, and not even good bread. It was an entirely underwhelming experience. I went expecting to get a sandwich bursting with meat and cheesy goodness, but I got what was a sad excuse for a grilled cheese. I am a picky eater but I love grilled cheese so I was really looking forward to going here. I was so disappointed in the sandwich I got among other things. First its expensive, I got a sandwich with american cheese and bacon which comes with a small bag of chips and a bottle of coke and it cost almost $11. Second the sandwich was a good size and bread was good, but not much cheese on it and bacon seems like it was nuked then put on sandwich or it was put on undercooked and it tasted like bacon you get on a sandwich at Mcdonalds. Third, how do you not have fries and onion rings? You could sell cheese fries with any cheese you use for the sandwiches. If this place has to rely on the lunch crowd to stay in business then they are in trouble, if they get the people that come in when the bars close they will do fine because everything tastes good when you are drunk. read more
