It's a nice Sunday afternoon for some good pizza
    Rubén L.

You can't go wrong picking Grimaldi's for pizza. Our server was a master at explaining the ingredients that go into every pizza, the sauce and even suggested we sign up for their rewards program to get a free appetizer. We ordered "The Don" which has an artful array of pepperoni, hand-pinch Italian sausage and dime-sized meatball slices. When a large pie of coal-fired pizza arrived to the table still crackling from the intense heat of the oven, its crust kissed by a smoky char that added just the right crunch to each bite. The outer edges are puffed and blistered, feather-light with a gentle snap, while the base is thin, sturdy, and faintly smoky from the coal's sear. That tangy tomato sauce made by Grimaldi's has been slow-simmered to deepen its natural sweetness. A few torn basil leaves wilt just slightly atop the heat, releasing their peppery aroma, while a drizzle of olive oil glistens under the light, promising rich flavor in every mouthful. And the meat toppings for "The Don"... Ay marron! A gentle kiss of heat and spice just brings the overall taste to a curtain call of deliciousness. It's not just pizza. It's old school fire-born pure delight.

I want to love this place. I truly want it to be our weekly local spot, but it's just too far off. Dirty. White lights like we are in a hospital. Lack of care or service. Management is nonexistant. It would not take much to get this place to a 10, but it's lacking so much love. The bones are there. The location is there. Food could be on point. We've come here on a Sunday, a Saturday, and a Wednesday.

    Bruschetta was really good

My business partner and I were on our way to DFW airport and pizza sounded good. We had an hour and a half and Grimaldi's was only 3 miles from the airport. So we stopped in at 3:45pm on a Thursday. They are known for good pizza and we were the only table seated so this was gonna be good. Well, the service was slow. Our waitress was nice but it appears they got some to-go pizzas called in and 30 mins after ordering our pizza and calzone we still didn't have anything. Only one more table occupied. After asking we were told just a few more minutes. My pizza came out in 5 min and I was 1/2 done before my buddies calzone came out. Not good service standards at all. I can't imagine a busy night. Regardless, I really liked our bruschetta. Some of the best I've had in a while and my pizza was really good. Don't come here unless you have plenty of time to sit and wait. Otherwise, enjoy the pizza it's good!

Burned basil on the pan too that we had to takeoff. We didn't even bother eating this piece.

Every time we have gone to this location this year the wait time for our food is ridiculous. This visit was no different but this time the pizza was burned and 3 pieces had large "bubbles" of crust with nothing on them like the picture. I brought it to the waitresses attention and she offered to have them make us another one, but we didn't want to wait 30 minutes or more for it so we salvage what we could out of it. She said she brought it to the manager's attention and was trying to get a coupon for a free pizza for us, but he was back in the kitchen helping him make pizzas so he took eight dollars off our pizza. I told her that's fine. I'll just let my review reflect how I felt about it. He should've made more of an effort to make it right.

Over priced takeout pizza. Crust was burned, but still managed to be soggy. Worst takeout pizza ever. Won't be back.

We walked in, made our choices, and were back out in just a few minutes. The selection isn't huge, but that's exactly the point. Instead of seeing 20 different croissants, you see 20 completely different creations. Each dessert has its own personality. This isn't the kind of place where you rush through everything in one sitting. Every bite has different textures, layers, fillings, and fresh fruit that make you slow down and appreciate the craftsmanship. The attention to detail is incredible. One dessert looked just like an apple--even the core was different from the outer "apple," and the tiny stem was made from dark chocolate. It's those little details that make the experience memorable. We walked out in under three minutes and spent just under $70. Was it expensive? Sure. But it felt worth it. You leave with an appreciation for the artistry, incredible flavors, and an aftertaste that makes you glad you treated yourself.
