Garden salad, to offset too mucha that pizza!

Been here many times over the years since it opened, glad to have a full dine-in Pizza Hut. The decor may not be the vintage look, but it's still got the vintage personality. They always have the classic rock playin' (hearing Queen atm), and the food is every bit as good as the old days. The service here has ALWAYS been fantastic, the management is doin' somethin' right. Maybe it's that the location is both great and kinda a pain to get to so it's never crowded, so that helps keep the staff upbeat. Anyway, dine-in pizza is a real under-appreciated luxury, that pizza has been reduced to a take-out/delivery item and people forgot how crucial that first 10 or so minutes from the oven it is for pizza. We don't always have the time, but it's worth making time for it once in a while. Great spot.

This could be the best Pizzas Hut in America for the following 3 reasons: 1- It has a buffet, which automatically places it above those that do not. 2 - It also has an amazing server named Brooklyn. She easily gets the award for "Best server since the 80's." It's hard to find good service outside of a Chic-Fil-A these days, but this Pizza Hut has it all. 3 - They serve beer. Although they don't have the bad@$$ light fixtures from my childhood or the gaudy carpet, the 3 reasons above make up for the lack of nostalgia. Do yourself a favor and get your tail into a booth at this Roanoke gem ASAP!

This location has always been very consistent with quality pizzas at the time requested. I always order for pick up and appreciate that they have a Drive Thru for that purpose. Employees are always friendly and food has always been top quality. Highly recommend. Was kind of surprised at the sign saying that they charge for parmesan cheese and peppers.

Friend of mine took me here for the lunch buffet. If you are looking to carbo-load, look no further! This buffet is DANGEROUS. It's cheap - at like around 9 bucks you get a soda with refills, a salad, and all you can eat of pizza slices, mac n cheese, breadsticks up the wazoo, etc. I actually like the Pizza Hut crust, and that's really all you're eating here; it has a good crisp bite to it - and everything here is made of the same stuff. Pizza crust, breadsticks, those mini calzone thingys - you're just eating a ton of bread. But you can't get a better value for your lunch dollar than this place! It's new, not all that large inside but clean. Servers are nice. It's a great lunch spot.

The food is consistently excellent, and a few dishes have become absolute staples for me: the wings, the fajitas, and what I'm convinced are the best salmon tacos in the entire area. The staff is even better. They're always warm and welcoming, and on multiple occasions they've gone out of their way to entertain my kid while I actually get a chance to enjoy my meal. Little things like that keep us coming back. They also have an incredible lineup of 52 rotating beers, so there's always something new to try. The recent remodel looks fantastic--fresh, modern, and inviting. While it's not quite a sports bar, there are plenty of TVs with games on, making it a perfect place to unwind and relax. Jack & Grill is a regular stop for us, and honestly, it should be for you too. Highly recommended.

Both were presented well, I will say that my trout was a little on the bland side but that could be because it was gluten free. Once pepper was added it enhanced the experience. Today we decided to dine in for the first time. The food and service were good, until we received the bill and noticed a surprise $11.99 "vegetable plate" charge. When we asked about it at the front counter, we were told it was because "one person can't eat for free" since we only ordered one meal. I understand some restaurants charge a split plate fee or have minimum ordering policies. The issue is that this was never mentioned by the server and wasn't listed anywhere. A simple heads up would have avoided the frustration. On top of this they don't actually serve you the vegetable plate they are charging you for they just charge you extra for not being able to eat enough. Had we known, we likely would have ordered two chicken dinners and taken the extra food home. Ironically, we didn't even finish the single plate we ordered, which is exactly why we only ordered one meal in the first place.

I'm glad I checked it out because it was easily one of the best fried chicken experiences I've had, especially for the value. The price was fair, and the portions were gigantic. I got the biscuits and gravy along with the fried chicken entrée, which came with four pieces of chicken, gravy (again!), and sides. Everything was very satisfying. The folks working there were also very friendly. They reminded me of the humble, hard-working people I grew up around back in the day. There's a nostalgic, feels-like-home kind of vibe here that made the meal even better. I was more than satisfied with both the food and the service. Highly recommended. As a side note, because the portion was huge, I asked for a to-go box. For some reason, they didn't have to-go boxes at the time and gave me a small plastic bag instead. I'm not sure if that was a one-time thing or some kind of no "to-go" policy, but it didn't affect the overall experience.

Tons of seating inside, most of the food counters even bring your food to you. We've tried all the food counters except the newest one. The vendors all offer very different stuff. Wing Daddy & The Codfather are at one counter. The guy does fried chicken sandwiches, wings, burgers, fish and chips, fried fish sandwich, so many options, and his fish is never frozen or pre-battered. His is the only fried cod I buy anymore. No where else compares. He buys his fish fresh everyday and he's always offering some new item. Yeschef should really have his own sit down place because his food is so polished, but I'm glad he's here because I can order from him and The Codfather at the same time. lol Chef makes Louisiana food that seriously transports me to New Orleans. His gumbo is the best I've ever had, and his shrimp and grits are insane, truly out of this world. He also has things like truffle fries or truffle mac'n'cheese, po boys, his menu is epic. Azores Craft Sausages & Charcuterie is really special. The first time we went there he was on a soft opening and had no pizza, so we did his hummus appetizer and it was sooo good. He understands how to put flavor into simple dishes like hummus. Hummus is easy to make but hard to get right, and he does it justice. The real star here is his sausage. It's soooo good, and the Calabrese Sausage Pizza is really next level. His pizza sauce is authentically Italian: tomato, olive oil, salt. That's legit, and why he's my new favorite pizza guy. Roki's food counter always smells so good, I love Pho. Sadly, I've never tried her food, I always go straight to The Codfather first, but I love her drinks. I always get either an Italian Cream Soda, Vietnamese Coffee, or Thai Coffee. She's also really nice, love talking to her while she works. Wild Chef, newest food counter. He was closed for a catering event when we went there a couple days ago. He was prepping for his event so we got to chat with him, he mostly does take away meals, like meal prep. He also offers things like turkey salad (instead of chicken salad), flatheads, it all sounded really good. Looking forward to giving him a try next trip! Soulfire Brewing Co. is a really great spot, full bar. It's not a big space, but they have a pretty big covered patio and you can also sit in the food hall. They do karaoke on Fridays and their tap menu is pretty good, lot of local brews. The staff is always really nice.
