Saturday hours vanished, weekday hours are difficult for anyone with a full‑time job, and the new text‑based communication feels dismissive rather than supportive. Asking about weekend availability shouldn't trigger messages suggesting they "update my records" if I'm no longer interested in being a patient. This practice has strong clinical talent, but the customer service side needs immediate attention. Other reviews on YELP in the last couple of years seem to mirror my disappointment. ALSO, they may wish to remove the snarky, outdated and frankly cringe‑y "...we cater to cowards..." wording in their brochures and on their waiting room tables. It's just unnecessary. No one enjoys going to the dentist, it's a necessary experience. Here's a few examples to consider: "For anyone who prefers kindness over stress." "Perfect for patients who like their dentistry gentle, not scary." "We take the fear out of dental care -- no judgment, just comfort."

My husband and two daughters had been…read moreto this practice and things were mediocre ... until their appointment in April and my first appointment with them in June. The new dentists we saw were no longer in-network and we were charged out-of-network costs. Aetna was amazing and did a one-time exception to change those visits to in-network. We had already paid our bill in full, so when First Impressions Dental received the check from Aetna you would think they would reimburse me the amount I had already paid. Nope! Not only did they not get the refund process started (I had to call twice), they claimed we still had a balance. This so-called balance was for "hospitality and in-office write-offs". One was from 2023. Interesting how this popped up out of nowhere two years later... hmm. They cashed the insurance check and instead of paying us back what insurance says we were owed, they're taking back all hospitality and write-offs and returning SOME of the insurance check. Basically being vindictive and taking money from an insurance check to pay themselves back. I've filed an official complaint with Aetna and will update this review once the complaint process with insurance is completed.

I'm so grateful she told me about this office and dentist. The front office staff picks up the phone on the 1st ring (remember when businesses used to do that?! What a luxury!) They're pleasant, efficient and helpful. There's no signs stating you'll be removed for yelling at the staff. There's no need. One experience and you'll know how ridiculous that would be. Our son, who is home from college , showed up 2 min late ( 2 min over the 10 min grace period) he was sent away rudely by Lynn, the front desk manager. We book these appointments MONTHS in advance .... 2 min could have been deducted from his visit. Lord knows we have waited longer AND worked with them because it is what it is. Her customer service skills are piss poor and the straw that broke the camels back . We are d.o.n.e. Just need to figure out where else I can warn people , trust me , you dont want to deal with the pompous front desk staff.

Feel free to stop here, unless you want to read my lengthy review with a side order of TMI starts here: I assume most people dread going to the dentist. Probably because they have to either lie "of course I have been flossing!" or tell the truth "does it look like it to you?". In any case, I have been going here for my last several dental appointments. The office is very well run! I have never had to sit and wait past the time I had scheduled; it's refreshing. The other thing I like is the tools they use, it might be the norm (before finding this place I was not going in every 6 months; the longest I went was 15 years! It's okay, still rocking all my teeth, no cavities; go me!). I think before coming here it had been 3 years. Anyhow, they use a water jet to get most of the plaque, and only take out the metal tools for a final go through and to check your gums. I had the same dentist my first few visits, my last one was with a different dentist. Both were really great, they take the time to go over everything, and answer any questions I have. In closing, I also feel that they are honest. I have had experiences where the dentist says that there is a spot on the x-ray that they recommend an additional appointment to preemptively address the possibility. It's like the upsell of protection they ask you to add at Best Buy or Target. Only way more costly!

I had my first dental appointment in probably 4 years (bad on me) after a family member referred me here. From the moment in walk in you feel comfortable and at peace. You are warmly welcomed, offered water, and a seat in a comfortable well-lit waiting area. Paper work is completely done in advance on-line, so that's all out of the way, they have all the information they need to get started. I was lucky enough to get Elizabeth as my hygienist, and I could not had been more pleased. She kept me informed with everything that was going to happen, had a great sense of humor, and incredible medical skills. The equipment is all new technology, and I can honestly say pain-free! I do need additional work since it's been awhile, but I'm excited to go back and continue this journey to healthier, whiter teeth. Helen, their Insurance Guru, will walk you through the options, explain what is paid for by insurance, what is not, really on top of her game. No email, no phone call, no letter. Nothing for four years. The representative admitted that internal billing department changes and operational issues were the reason it took them this long to reach out. Their own staff confirmed the delay was entirely on their end, yet they still expected me to pay without question. This is not how a patient-centered practice operates. If you value professional, organized, and respectful patient care, look elsewhere.
