I was trying to go a cheap route by getting my supplements from Amazon. However, neither the Creatine nor the post-workout supplements from Amazon would dissolve in water. The flavor and gritty texture of the Amazon product were horrible. When I arrived at Phil's, I was greeted right away, along with getting asked if I needed any assistance or if I had any questions. I was very impressed that I was receiving service from Phil the owner. I told him what was happening with the inferior Amazon product, and he guided me on what I could use. Once I found what I needed, he offered me a sample to ensure I like it. The level of service is what we, as consumers, are missing out on. I am comfortable with paying a hire price, that comes with great service and guidance. I will be working with Phil's Nutrition for my exercise needs.

The major differentiator that Stimulus offers is their insanely welcoming environment. I've been to CrossFit classes where I felt like an outsider, and unwelcome if I wasn't a pro. However at this gym, I was immediately welcomed with open arms. Jeff, the CrossFit coach and co-owner of the gym, is the best fitness coach I've ever had. To start, he has 10+ years of experience in both traditional bodybuilding and CrossFit, not to mention that he's a fantastic crossfitter himself! He makes sure to meet you at your level, and never sacrifices form for weight. He gives every new student enough attention to make sure you understand the movements, have correct form, and are having fun. But I know what you're saying..."I don't like group workouts". OK, well, I didn't used to either! This place feels like dance party with your friends. Good music, even better lighting, and it takes the pressure off thinking any eyes are on you. (Pro tip, they're not...everyone is too busy working up a sweat to notice if you're struggling thru some burpees. Spoiler - we all are!) OK, "but it's haaaardddd". Yep! It is challenging! And anything worth doing is worth doing well! Rome wasn't built in a day, and all those other clichés, and getting out of shape didn't happen overnight, and getting back into better shape takes time. I showed up and checked in and being a gym rat, he always promised a butt kicking workout. Let me just tell you, it delivered! I'm not big on group training, so I almost said no. (With the exception of my heated pilates and yoga classes.) I've seen amazing results from my friends that are still members here although, I prefer to workout solo or with my coach. I'm so glad I gave them a try. We formed a group of 4 with two other guys and it was a blast as we moved through the stations. I'll most likely drop in again with him in the future. The energy and the coaches were awesome and of course my friend was recognized for his workouts; he's a beast! This place kicked my tail. Thank you for a great workout and making us earn our post-workout meal!
