Most importantly, they actually listen to feedback and make improvements based on what members say. It's a professional, well-run spot that's worth the membership.

I had a friend with a bad knee who wants to get moving again, and after seeing Valerie working with others and finding out that she has a specific background and training in physical therapy to really know how to work safely with you, I recommended my friend, try her. She made so much improvement and raved about her so much, that when I wanted to get more serious But protect my shoulder and knee, which bother me, I too signed up with Valerie. I could not be happier. She is very careful and very attentive. She focuses closely on form I will stop and lighten the weights immediately if she sees any struggling to keep proper form. She is so positive and uplifting. I'm never afraid to admit. I've had a bad week food wise and she always makes me want to get back in the saddle again. I also saw the results in my muscles after only a month or so. I can't say enough positive things about her. And she is not the only one. All of the trainers who run the classes are very good. The classes are fun and as challenging as you want them to be or easy as you need them to be. There is no shame here.

It looked like the elite Manhattan 5th Ave crowd would frequent this with its privacy. The club has an initiation fee of 10k from what I hear. Honestly, I felt like their service to reciprocal members was distasteful. Several times staff were like who are you in an accusatory manner when we had permission to be there. It left a really bad taste in my mouth. We walked into this building and the lady up front pressed the button to go up to the top of the building. The place has 2 restaurants. The top restaurant has an amazing view of the city from the terrace. I would have loved to sit out there and eat if it wasn't winter and wasn't closed. The bottom restaurant offered a pretty overpriced breakfast. I paid 20 bucks for toast and a coffee (which is insane). The toast did have an awesome strawberry jam. The place also has a nice lounge area, movie theater, and a hair studio. The place has a gym that has a great view of New York. The place doesn't offer a lot of gym equipment, however. There is also a meditation room and bathroom that has a sauna.

We had the sushi tacos, the steak and eggs, and the burger. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing and you can also sit outside with a decent view of midtown. We sat at a booth and the seats were very comfortable. The food was good but pricey. I enjoyed the tacos and the steak and eggs. The burger was nothing to rave about. I liked this place because it has a modern but relaxed vibe.

DECEPTIVE BILLING PRACTICES -- BE CAREFUL BEFORE SIGNING ANY AGREEMENT…read more After years of being a loyal member with no issues, I was suddenly charged an additional $19.50 fee with no notice or explanation. When I asked about it, I was told it was a "glitch in the system" that overcharges customers -- but that I'd need to talk to the manager to resolve it. To prevent future problems, I even put a new card on file. Before following up, I contacted my bank (Chase), and they confirmed there was no reason my recurring payment -- successfully processed more than 28 times -- should have declined. When I spoke with the manager (Andrew), he gave multiple conflicting explanations: first a system glitch, then a bank issue, then a declined card, and finally said he had no control because billing is through ABC Financial. When I asked how the issue would be fixed, I received no clear answer or solution. Instead, the manager became aggressive and ended the conversation by yelling: "GET THE F*** OUT, IT'S TOO EARLY FOR YOUR BULL****." Immediately, I asked again to speak with the owner or anyone capable of addressing the situation. I even reached out through social media. After one month, radio silence. Today, I received another notice: my card supposedly "did not go through," and there is no a $9.50 late fee and another $19.50 charge added on top. I'm genuinely disappointed. If the business needs to raise prices, be honest about it -- don't hide behind deceptive billing practices or "system glitches." I enjoyed being a member, but I can't support a company that refuses accountability, overcharges loyal customers, and treats them disrespectfully.

Espresso and ham and cheese croissant was great. I got to have a small snack an hour before my yoga class! They have stunning studios, lockers, mats towels the whole sha-bag, and really talented teachers. I always look forward to returning here. I do wish they offered more low heat classes or 45 minute classes so that I could take class on my lunch break at work as I work in Tribeca and there aren't a ton of non-heated studios around. Their teachers vary so definitely do your research!
