They wash their aerial silks regularly. They offer classes that range from conditioning to yoga. I haven't done many conditioning classes as I'm slowwwwwwwwwly trying to get myself in shape. But I love their yoga studio downstairs.... & aerial yoga is SO much fun. The trainers and owners are all awesome... I've taken classes with Meg, Kristen, Marta, Conor Michael & Andrea. I think you have to try all of their classes just so you could find the trainer whose class best fits you. The owners greet me every time I walk in the door. Before that I spent 4 years in group fitness classes where personal interaction was all apart of their business idea and not part of who they really were. I did manage to lose some weight and see some progress but after 3 years of spin classes and working with inexperienced trainers that gave me the same workout and attention as they would next guy that walked through the door I knew it was time for a change. The Strength Experiment was convenient, less than a mile from my house so I figured I would check it out...what did I have to lose. I grabbed 2 friends and walked in scared. We were met by Jared the owner and trainer for the gym, yes he and his down and dirty gym were a bit intimidating for this Spin girl, but we all signed up for a week membership. By the end of my first week I knew this is where I needed to be. All though it is a group training experience with the work out written on the board for everyone to do. You are never left to do anything yourself. Jared sees all and always provides and makes you feel like you have a one on one experience. NO it is NOT cross-fit! I've done that before and came out with a pulled back and sore shoulder after the first month. It's not about finishing in an hour or get your reps done in 2 minutes..it's about the right form, it's about increasing your strength, feeling strong and being apart of an amazing, non intimidating gym!
