Absolutely crazy! The worst part is I live in the apartments right next to them and I would be there every morning if that interaction didn't happen! All about supporting small businesses but when you're rude to your customers like that you're still just a business.

The Garden is swiftly becoming the new pub (caffeine a gleeful swap for alcohol in this case) here in the southwestern Valley. My husband and I indulge in fresh coffee and tea drink flavors, healthy and filling breakfasts, and yummy desserts-- and every single time I see people I know and love just "bumping into" more regularly. The sweethearted staff always puts up with my need for extra help in ordering (I have a sugar allergy, which can make getting to try a seasonal drink tricky-- but they do their best to make it work for me!). The business supports an incredible cause, which also serves to strengthen and help our immediate community. My shoes were wet, which made my socks wet, which made me....cranky. Enter Bumper Crop Coffee to save the day! There should have been a beacon of light and a choir of angels singing, because guess what? Their coffee IS that good. Smooth, strong, full-bodied and definitely NOT burnt....cough...Starbucks...cough cough...Wow, my throat is scratchy or something! I think I need some Bumper Crop Coffee! It warmed us to our toes. And then, when it warmed up later on, we went back for cold brew, and were instantly refreshed. The flavors are deep and complex, the way coffee should be. Seriously, don't even bother with the chain coffee kiosks. They're like....like the McDonald's of the coffee world. I love getting coffee here because it's not too sweet which I'm picky about because I don't like when coffee is too sweet so I have to ask for half sweet. I just tried their breakfast sandwiches and the cutest barista with red hair was just so accommodating. She introduced me to the nitro cold brew and the creaminess was just amazing. The breakfast sandwich was a five cheese bagel with egg and ham. So so good. You can't ever go wrong with the call booth theme and the open spacious, natural lit areas in the shops either. Spent a ton of my college career in their coffee shops.
