This review is only for Online & Texting Customer Service Sales Rep…read more I've been interested in an Electric Vehicle (EV) ever since the GM, EV-1 debuted At Disneyland CA in 1996. Of course, between the cost + the need of a 240 V outlet, EVs were, and many new ones still are, beyond the reach of the everyday citizen. Over the next few years, several new EV cars, trucks and SUVs are coming out. And, for most people, the price of some of them is in reach. So, I originally decided to do a Short-term Lease, with as little down as possible. And, last week, I started investigating the current EV market here in Central Georgia. Sadly, the 2 vehicles I was, and still am, interested in, won't be out for at least several months. And, after being without a car for 4 months, I didn't want to wait any longer. So, since the Volvo XC-40 Recharge ($58K +) is a decent looking E-SUV, I decided to check into it. On Monday morning, 5/24, I sent an Email to the Dealership. And, because of my hearing issues, I requested communication by either, Text or Email. About 2.5 hours later, my Text alert sounded, and it was a text from one of the Salesmen. And, one of the first questions I asked was, I don't have a car. Can you arrange to pick me up? After checking with his manager, he replied, Yes, we can. But, we would have to have a deal first. Eek! Well, I didn't mind (too much) agreeing to deal, without getting to test drive it. But, the reviews are good, so no big deal. Now, to make a long story, short, in the end, I couldn't get a 12 month lease (24 is the lowest). And, the down payment ($6K) + monthly payments ($796) was more that I was willing to go (originally little, or $0 down was discussed). Now, the courtesy of the Salesman was fantastic! 5 Stars for sure! But, between "having to have a deal without a test drive", and not being able to meet my needs, I can't give better than 3 Stars. Returning back home my car would not start w/roadside or 2nd time buying a new battery and so I had the volvol towed to Macon Volvo Service Department 4781 Riverside, Macon, ga , later I received a text saying they wouldn't get to it until the 9/12/23, then later Cort the Service advisor contacted me saying they'd get to it earlier. Next day or so Cort called saying they couldn't get it started he went on to tell me how much a diagnostic was going to cost in addition to any work being done quoting the diagnostic was $227, he went back to look at my car again then calling me saying that the car needed sparks and plugs and that was going to be over $600 well, I would've agreed to that but, he changed saying after he were to do all that to my car it probably wouldn't start. I ask Cort why is it that I'm paying $227 plus over $600 and you're saying the cars probably not gonna still start it made no sense to me so he's waiting for me to tell yes do this work. After we hung up I started looking up my car to see if anyone else, had this problem and found even after a new battery put in cx60 2011 volvol it still wouldn't work but, investigating they found a FUSE was found that was blown after it was replaced the car started. I called Cort back to see if anything changed about my car and for 2 days missed speaking with him but, later again he had same story I mentioned about the FUSE and ask if that had been check he basically just mumbled all the wrongs with my car not being straight up with what is wrong with it and how much will it cost to fix! Cort could not just give me a clue to what he wanted or just let him I guess do what he wants and give me a ridiculous bill I don't know he was never clear. I had to make decision I decided it wasn't worth to put the money in if its not going to be drivable so I ask him again and he went on with all that was wrong I said ok give me an idea what the cost is going to be he was beating around so told him I can't afford to let my car sit on the property to rack up cost that if he couldn't fix I needed to have it towed he then said the Diagnostic went up to $249 I ask why he said bc of all they had done which he couldn't tell what that was on top of that I would have to pay towing of $267 and reminded him that Diagnostic at that price should say what needs to be done, he went on to tell me how there wasn't a paper trail of work that had been done on the car I told him I bought the Volvol from Dyer & Dyer in Chamblee Ga and I've had all check ups timely oil changes new tires battery but, yes it's over due for tune up but, you're saying Cort if you do all that it still may not start and your diagnostic isn't worth it now $249 I ask him to reconsider bc he first said $227 he then agree I paid reluctantly because I couldn't get my car without paying. My car came home and I just happened to try to start it and my goodness the car STARTED all this about how the car just wouldn't start how is it I got it to start when I know nothing about cars Cort didn't ask for paperwork of work done on my car I could have given to him and I'm not sure why the people who've worked on my car didn't report it. I just feel Cort at VOLVO SERVICE DEPARTMENT 4781 RIVERSIDE DR, MACON, GA 31210 didn't really care about my vehicle or ME I'm a Senior and a Woman and not real easy to SQUEEZE for MO MONEY!!! I make this assertion because, I called him left message letting him hear the sound of my car starting, I even called back when Cort was out and talked with a Co worker who I told all of this to and He Erick promised to call me back but, 4 days have passed and nothing! I just buried my son every one knows funerals cost and here I'm being played with I feel to see how much he could get me to pay maybe it was just for the FUSE I told him to check out but, this restless cost Me $494 that could've gone toward the cost of repair! The worst for these losers is that I've always had Volvols and my plan was to buy another but, Not from this place!

The date of transaction was October 16th to November 1st. The dates of communication prior to drop…read moreoff October 16th were between May 2023 to October 12th. Screenshots are available of all recorded communication,phone, and in-person between Creative Coatingz James Denney and myself since May 2023. The amount of money paid to business was six thousand dollars cash (invoice receipt available) The business was to provide a professional Line-X coating to my vehicle body; removing items not meant to be painted over or protecting those not to be painted, remove rust from body and under carriage, prep/sand prior to painting, repair dented roof prior to painting, remove silicone around driver side rear window prior to painting and did not have permission to install or modify any front end items or vehicle electrical equipment/items; i.e. headlights, solar, sound system. Multiple attempts to verify and reassure the work was being done properly by James at Creative Coatingz over multiple recorded calls and in-person were made, but still it was left unsafe and with multiple damages to itself and another vehicle. First and foremost the paint was to be white not black. As the evidence of 160 photos available will show that multiple damages of painted areas which were not to be painted with Line-X were done so unprofessionally causing unsafe conditions, weather protections around all doors and electric windows painted & damaged, hinges, caps and plastic guards all covered and peeling revealing white paint underneath. The unprofessional and rushed under coating of material unknown being sprayed on multiple components such as shocks, breaks, electric and break lines, fuel, and tires. The repairs which were to be completed prior to painting; i.e. dent in roof and silicone area removed around driver side rear window was completely neglected. The vehicle, 2009 Jeep Patriot, which transported me to Creative Coatingz November 1st to pick up the truck and followed me home 41 miles away was covered in black undercoat material because the original pickup date October 31st was delayed due to non completion of underneath coating and was rushed last minute. Attempts to correct the mistakes made with Creative Coatingz, James, were initiated November 1st 2023 in person and by phone. James refused to confirm the color requested after revealing screenshots of the Line-X in white which I showed him on October 12th in person when making my appointment to drop off October 16th to October 31st 2023 for completion of all work. Multiple phone calls recorded were made to address the issues and I had told something was installed and changed in my front end headlights which were disconnected and wires hanging from front which were only noticed upon arrival home along with leaking break fluid and electric sounds coming from audio system when using turn signal and no break lights working in rear. James instructed me that I would have to pay additional $1500 to paint white now and come back to repair roof and window area already painted over with Line-X in-person and over the phone I was told the first time of complications with front end lights and wires underneath which never were mentioned in any recorded conversations prior to completion of my vehicle's work at Creative Coatingz. Lastly, James, Owner of Creative Coatingz was unprofessional and aggressive over the phone prior to disconnecting the call to resolve issues and ignoring my appointment made November 7th 2023 to address the work never completed. (Service tag on key ring identifying items to be done; i.e. roof dent, body and underneath coating saved) An expert, Burt at Line X Of Macon, on November 1st, 2023 135pm, notified me that the product told to me by James at Creative Coatingz to be used on my truck called Line-X was not line-x but a knock off material and he has been warned by multiple cease and decease letters to stop advertising it. I spoke in length about all the damages, and improper painted areas which was confirmed by multiple expert to be done unprofessionally. As well as multiple automotive shops which refused to service the vehicle because liability issues of the damages caused by Creative Coatingz. I have a $6000 debt, major damages to my trucks electrical system, shocks, safety lights, breaks, and daughters jeep paint ranging over 3 times the amount spent to complete the professional paint job now that has caused serious problems with my ability to meet requirements to the Veteran Hospital in Dublin, living supplies for my family and complete inability to operate my vehicle safely since October 16th 2023. I am asking for a total refund of the $6000 paid for services not rendered professionally, correctly or completed per agreement at all. I took my truck in to have my sunroof repaired. I paid them 1500 dollars . I went threw the car…read morewash and got soaked . They gave me a 5 year warranty when they supposedly repaired my sunroof. I took my truck back in and explained to them what had occurred. Now they are telling me it will take 900 more dollars to repair what they should have fixed the first time . I don't feel this was good business at all ! Evidently, my sunroof was not completely repaired the first time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
