I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at Firestone Auto Complete was incredibly disappointing and frustrating from start to finish. I brought my car in for a routine oil change and requested a full diagnostic scan since I had to get a jump-start twice earlier that week. After the scan, I was told my battery was bad and given a quote for a new one. Thankfully, I took it back to the auto parts store where I originally bought the battery (which is still under warranty), and they confirmed it was perfectly fine. So, either the scan was inaccurate or misleading. I also asked for an alignment, but shortly after declining their offer to replace my brake pads, I got a call saying they couldn't do the alignment because I needed a new front left tire. I've purchased several tires in recent years, all with roadside warranties, but was told the warranty wouldn't cover whatever was supposedly wrong with the tire. That felt more like a sales tactic than honest service. When I went to pick up my vehicle, it took nearly 20 minutes just for them to locate my keys. And the next day, I realized my oil change meter still showed 16%, which is exactly what it read when I brought it in. There was also no new service sticker. I had to go back again to get it corrected. To make matters worse, once home I noticed one of the lugs on my tire was missing, which is not only unacceptable but dangerous. I left feeling like I couldn't trust the service I received. This entire experience was chaotic, unprofessional, and made me question the integrity of the recommendations and work done. Okay I'll admit I haven't had the best experience at this location in the past. However today's service was exceptionally good! I noticed an issue with my tire late yesterday afternoon. I went online to book an appointment as I had travel plans this morning. I called to confirm my appointment and that I'd have enough time to get service and get on there road. The gentleman I spoke with was very helpful and courteous. He was also the same gentleman there when the store opened at 7am! I don't recall his name but so glad Firestone finally has quality associates on their team. read more

I recently moved to Macon and have used Firestones in the past. This one is the Best one yet. The people answering the phones are helpful and when you have to wait they are always good to answer a question. The tech was nice and Helpful and advised me of concerns that he had that would make my vehicle drive poorly (I had just bought it, older, high miles, used). Walked me through the list of priorities and we made a plan. I appreciate the thoroughness. read more

Why make an appointment if it's going to be ignored when other customers come in and are placed ahead of appointments. Not acceptable. Went on 7/15/2018 for an oil change, tire rotation & since we purchased the lifetime alignment we wanted to get that done as well. It seemed they tried to discourage us from staying, saying that it would take SEVERAL hours to complete. We stayed because it needed to be done! After the vehicle was taken back, and the oil change started, they were magically done in 10 minutes. We were told they couldn't do the alignment because the size of the vehicle, wrong. We were told they rotated the tires, they had not. The filter is questionable because it looked sort of new but with as many miles as we put on the vehicle, and how frequent this has to be done, its hard to say. I stopped by and got a written quote. Then on Monday I called and set an appointment to get the work done on Wednesday. When I get there on Wednesday they didn't know about the appointment and didn't have the tire or headlight I needed. They didn't bother to tell me for over an hour that they didn't have it. I got there at​ about 1:45 pm.​ Their paperwork said that they would be done by 3:30 pm.​ Then they said 4pm. They got done about 4:30pm. Turns out they had quoted wrong. They offered me a discount but at the end gave me "2 free oil changes" instead. They scratched my car near the driver's door. Every time I see that scratch I'll remember the service I got at Firestone. read more

My pickup truck threw the fan clutch took them a few hours to get me back rolling but as soon as I get home the brand new belt shreds

I went in at 10:30 to get one tire replaced, and they said it wouldn't take long. At 12 they let me know that they didnt have the tirebthey offered in stock and they would get it from another store and it would be an extra 30-45 min tops. My car broke down on the interstate north of Macon. By the time I waited for a tow and got the vehicle in to Firestone, the work day was over. However, Scott kept some people over to check out my car. They found that the engine was gone. My party had no transportation, and being in a strange city, wasn't sure what to do. I booked a hotel, but there was no taxi service for the three of us. As it turned out, we were able to stay comfortably at Firestone - then when it really was time to go, Scott got his van and drove us clear across town to check in. The next day, returning, we were told we could park the car there until I could get back and do something with it. So I got back to Florida and went directly to the hospital with pneumonia. That was a few weeks back, I'm not almost recovered, but the big deal is that Firestone gave me free storage of the car until I could get back there. I think that's worth 5 stars! read more
